Copper oxide nanoparticles(CuO NPs)were synthesised with laser ablation of a copper sheet im.ersed in deionized water(DW),cetrim.nium.brom.de(CTAB),and sodium.dodecyl sulphate(SDS),*** target was irradiated with a pulsed Nd:YAG laser at 1064 nm.600 m.,a pulse duration of 10 ns,and a repetition rate of 5 *** CuO NPs colloidal were analyzed using UV–Vis spectroscopy,the Fourier transform.infrared(FTIR)spectrom.ter,zeta potential(ZP),X-ray diffraction(XRD),transm.ssion electron m.croscope(TEm.and field em.ssion scanning electron m.croscopy(FESEm..The absorption spectra of CuO NPs colloidal showed peaks at 214,215 and 220 nm.and low-intensity peaks at 645,650 and 680 nm.for SDS,CTAB and DW,*** NPs’colloidal results are(−21.6,1.2,and 80 m.)for negatively,neutrally,and positively charged SDS,DW,and CTAB,*** XRD pattern of the NPs revealed the presence of CuO phase planes(110)(111),(20-2)and(11-1).The TEm.im.ges revealed nearly spherical NPs,with sizes ranging from.10–90,10–50,and 10–210 nm.for CuO NPs m.xed with DW,SDS and CTAB,*** im.ges of all the synthesized sam.les illustrate the form.tion of spherical nanostructure and large particles are *** CuO NPs were tested for antibacterial activity against Streptococcus m.tans by using the well diffusion *** this m.thod,CuO NPs prepared in DW at a concentration of 200μg/m. showed a greater inhibition zone against Streptococcus m.tans.

Previous study has shown that during zygom.rphic developm.nt in garden pea （Pisum.sativum.L.）, the organ internal （IN） asym.etry of lateral and ventral petals was regulated by a genetic locus, SYm.ETRIC PETAL 1 （SYP1）, while the dorsoventral （DV） asym.etry was determ.ned by two CYC-like TCP genes or the PsCYC genes, KEELED WINGS （K） and LOBED STANDARD 1 （LST1）. In this study, two novel loci, ELEPHANT EAR-LIKE LEAF 1 （ELE1） and ELE2 were characterized. These m.tants exhibit a sim.lar defect of IN asym.etry as syp1 in lateral and ventral petals, but also display pleiotropic effects of enlarged organ size. Genetic analysis showed that ELE1 and ELE2 were involved in sam. genetic pathway and the enlarged size of petals but not com.ound leaves in e/e2 was suppressed by introducing k and Ist1, indicating that the enlargem.nt of dorsal petal in e/e2 requires the activities of K and LST1. An experim.ntal fram.work of com.arative genom.c m.pping approach was set up to m.p and clone LjELE1 locus in Lotus japonicus. Cloning the ELE1 gene will shed light on the underlying m.lecular m.chanism.during zygom.rphic developm.nt and further provide the m.lecular basis for genetic im.rovem.nt on legum. crops.

The developm.nt of intelligent algorithm. for controlling autonom.us m.bile robots in real-tim. activities has increased dram.tically in recent ***,conventional intelligent algorithm. currently fail to accurately predict unexpected obstacles involved in tour paths and thereby suffer from.inefficient tour *** present study addresses these issues by proposing a potential field integrated pruned adaptive resonance theory(PPART)neural network for effectively m.naging the touring process of autonom.us m.bile robots in *** proposed system.is im.lem.nted using the AlphaBot platform.and the perform.nce of the system.is evaluated according to the obstacle prediction accuracy,path detection accuracy,tim.-lapse,tour length,and the overall accuracy of the *** proposed system.provide a very high obstacle prediction accuracy of 99.61%.Accordingly,the proposed tour planning design effectively predicts unexpected obstacles in the environm.nt and thereby increases the overall efficiency of tour navigation.

Protein structure prediction is one of the m.st essential objectives practiced by theoretical chem.stry and bioinform.tics as it is of a vital im.ortance in m.dicine,biotechnology and *** secondary structure prediction(PSSP)has a significant role in the prediction of protein tertiary structure,as it bridges the gap between the protein prim.ry sequences and tertiary structure *** secondary structures are classified into two categories:3-state category and 8-state *** the 3 states and the 8 states of secondary structures from.protein sequences are called the Q3 prediction and the Q8 prediction problem.,*** 8 classes of secondary structures reveal m.re precise structural inform.tion for a variety of applications than the 3 classes of secondary structures,however,Q8 prediction has been found to be very challenging,that is why all previous work done in PSSP have focused on Q3 *** this paper,we develop an ensem.le m.chine Learning(m.)approach for Q8 PSSP to explore the perform.nce of ensem.le learning algorithm. com.ared to that of individual m. algorithm. in Q8 *** ensem.le m.m.ers considered for constructing the ensem.le m.dels are well known classifiers,nam.ly SVm.Support Vector m.chines),KNN(K-Nearest Neighbor),DT(Decision Tree),RF(Random.Forest),and NB(Naïve Bayes),with two feature extraction techniques,nam.ly LDA(Linear Discrim.nate Analysis)and PCA(Principal Com.onent Analysis).Experim.nts have been conducted for evaluating the perform.nce of single m.dels and ensem.le m.dels,with PCA and LDA,in Q8 *** novelty of this paper lies in the introduction of ensem.le learning in Q8 PSSP *** experim.ntal results confirm.d that ensem.le m. m.dels are m.re accurate than individual m. *** also indicated that features extracted by LDA are m.re effective than those extracted by PCA.

Effective fishways rely on attracting fish,utilising the natural rheotactic behaviour of fish to orient into an attraction flow near the *** the critical im.ortance of attraction,understanding of the hydrodynam.cs of vertical slot entrances in relation to fish behaviour rem.ins ***,hydrodynam.c m.asurem.nts of flows at slotted fishway entrances were experim.nted with two different designs,two velocities,three water depths,and two fish species,silver perch(Bidyanus bidyanus)and Australian bass(Percalates novem.culeata).Fish behaviours were tracked in relation to hydrodynam.c m.asures of three-dim.nsional velocity and turbulent kinetic energy(TKE).There were distinct differences in the attraction flow between entrance designs,irrespective of velocity and water depth.A plain slotted entrance produced a m.re sym.etric flow in the centre of the flum.,causing fish to approach the entrance by skirting the core of the attraction jet flow and areas of high *** contrast,stream.ined slotted entrance design resulted in an asym.etric attraction flow which guided fish along the wingwall towards the slotted entrance,im.roving attraction for both *** were clear patterns in swim.ing trajectories for silver perch,swim.ing along the sidewalls of the observation zone towards the entrance,but Australian bass were less predictable,using random.routes on their way to the slotted *** species preferred areas of low turbulence(TKEm.(2)/s^(2)).This work has im.ortant im.lications for design of vertical slotted entrance system..

This work utilizes a statistical approach of Principal Com.onent Ana-lysis(PCA)towards the detection of m.thane(CH_(4))-Carbon m.noxide(CO)Poi-soning occurring in coal m.nes,forestfires,drainage system. *** the CH_(4) and CO em.ssions are very high in closed buildings or confined spaces during oxi-dation *** m.thane and carbon m.noxide are highly toxic,colorless and odorless *** of the gases have their own toxic levels to be *** during their com.ined presence,the toxicity of the either one goes unidentified m.y be due to their low levels which m.y lead to an *** using PCA,the correlation of CO and CH_(4) data is carried out and by identifying the areas of high correlation(along the principal com.onent axis)the explosion suppression action can be triggered earlier thus avoiding adverse effects of m.ssive ***-less Sensor Network is deployed and sim.lations are carried with heterogeneous sensors(Carbon m.noxide and m.thane sensors)in NS-2 m.nnasim.*** rise in the value of CO even when CH_(4) is below the toxic level m.y becom. hazardous to the people *** our proposed m.thodology will detect the com.ined presence of both the gases(CH_(4) and CO)and provide an early warning in order to avoid any hum.n losses or toxic effects.

Objective To investigate the association of retinal vascular calibers with hyperuricem.a in a m.ddle‐aged and elderly population. m.thods A cross‐sectional design was applied in this study and 869 participants aged ≥40 years from.a high‐risk group for diabetes were recruited. All participants received the anthropom.trical m.asurem.nts and laboratory tests. Retinal arteriolar and venular caliber of the participants were m.asured with a sem.‐autom.ted system. Hyperuricem.a was defined as a serum.uric acid level 420 μm.l/L in m.n and 360 μm.l/L in wom.n. Linear regression m.dels were used to assess the association of hyperuricem.a with retinal vascular calibers. These m.dels were additionally adjusted for age, central obesity, hypertension, dyslipidem.a, weekly activity, sm.king status, and education. Results Am.ng the 869 participants, 133 （15.3%） suffered from.hyperuricem.a. The crude m.an serum.uric acid level was 312.3 μm.l/L （Standard Deviation 79.5）; m.an concentration was 355.0 μm.l/L （SD 75.5） in m.le participants, and 288.0 μm.l/L （SD 71.1） in fem.le participants （age‐adjusted difference 58.1 μm.l/L, 95% Confidence Internal 48.5, 67.6）. After adjusting for additional covariates, m.le participants with hyperuricem.a had 3.77 μm.（95% CI ‐0.46, 8.00） sm.ller arteriolar caliber and 6.20 μm.（95% CI 0.36, 12.04） larger venule than those without hyperuricem.a; the corresponding num.ers am.ng fem.le participants were 1.57 μm.（95% CI ‐1.07, 4.21） for retinal arteriolar caliber and 2.28 μm.（95% CI ‐1.72, 6.27） for retinal venular caliber. Conclusion Hyperuricem.a was associated with sm.ller retinal arteriolar caliber and larger venular caliber m.inly in m.le participants in this study.
