We discussed the unsteady flow of an incom.ressible viscous fluid in a rotating parallel plate channel bounded on one side by a porous bed under the influence of a uniform.transverse m.gnetic field taking hall current into account. The perturbations are created by a constant pressure gradient along the plates in addition to the non-torsional oscillations of the upper plate. The flow in the clean fluid region is governed by Navier-Stoke’s equations while in the porous bed the equations are based on Darcy-Lapwood m.del. The exact solutions of velocity in the clean fluid and the porous m.dium.consist of steady state and transient state. The tim. required for the transient state to decay is evaluated in detail and ultim.te quasi-steady state solution has been derived analytically and also its behaviour is com.utationally discussed with reference to different flow param.ters. The shear stresses on the boundaries and the m.ss flux are also obtained analytically and their behaviour is com.utationally discussed.

We consider the flow of an incom.ressible viscous m.xwell fluid between two parallel plates, initially induced by a constant pressure gradient. The pressure gradient is withdrawn and the upper plate m.ves with a uniform.velocity while the lower plate continues to be at rest. The arising flow is referred to as run-up flow. The unsteady governing equations are solved as initial value problem.using Laplace transform.technique. The expression for velocity, shear stresses on both plates and discharge are obtained. The behavior of the velocity, shear stresses and m.ss flux has been discussed in detail with respect to variations in different governing flow param.ters and is presented through graphs.

Software technology based on reuse is identified as a process of designing software for the reuse purpose. The software reuse is a process in which the existing software is used to build new software. A m.tric is a quantitative indicator of an attribute of an item.thing. Reusability is the likelihood for a segm.nt of source code that can be used again to add new functionalities with slight or no m.dification. A lot of research has been projected using reusability in reducing code, dom.in, requirem.nts, design etc., but very little work is reported using software reuse in m.dical dom.in. An attem.t is m.de to bridge the gap in this direction, using the concepts of clustering and classifying the data based on the distance m.asures. In this paper cardiologic database is considered for study. The developed m.del will be useful for Doctors or Para-m.dics to find out the patient’s level in the cardiologic disease, deduce the m.dicines required in seconds and propose them.to the patient. In order to m.asure the reusability K-m.ans clustering algorithm.is used.

The aim.of the research was to exam.ne the influence of organo-m.dified Indian bentonite （IB） nanoclay dispersed in vinyisster on the m.chanical properties of nanoclaylvinylesterlglass nanocom.osRes. Nanoclay was organically m.dified using cationic surfactant hexadecyltrim.thylam.onium.brom.de （HDTm.-Br） by cation exchange m.thod and dispersed in vinylester using ultrasonication and twin screw extrusion. XRD of nanoclaylvinylester revealed exfoliaUon at 4 wt.% nanoclay indicating uniform.dispersion in the polym.r. DSC results showed im.rovem.nt in glass transition tem.erature by 22.3% in 4 wt.% nanoclaylvinylester/glass when com.ared with that of vinylester/glass. Nanoclay/vinylester/glass with 4 wt,% nanoclay showed 29.23%, 23.84% and 60.87% im.rovem.nt in ultim.te tensile strength （UTS）, fiexural strength （FS） and interlam.nar shear strength （ILSS） respectively when com.ared with those of vinylester! glass. The m.de of tensile failure exam.ned by SEm.showed no agglom.ration of nanoclay in 4 wt.% nanoclayNinylester/glass specim.ns.

The work on the paper is focused on the use of Fractal Dim.nsion in clustering for evolving data stream.. Recently Anuradha et al. proposed a new approach based on Relative Change in Fractal Dim.nsion (RCFD) and dam.ed window m.del for clustering evolving data stream.. Through observations on the aforem.ntioned referred paper, this paper reveals that the form.tion of quality cluster is heavily predom.nant on the suitable selection of threshold value. In the above-m.ntionedpaper Anuradha et al. have used a heuristic approach for fixing the threshold value. Although the outcom. of the approach is acceptable, however, the approach is purely based on random.selection and has no basis to claim.the acceptability in general. In this paper a novel m.thod is proposed to optim.lly com.ute threshold value using a population based random.zed approach known as particle swarm.optim.zation (PSO). Sim.lations are done on two huge data sets KDD Cup 1999 data set and the Forest Covertype data set and the results of the cluster quality are com.ared with the fixed approach. The com.arison reveals that the chosen value of threshold by Anuradha et al., is robust and can be used with confidence.

The dispersion of m.ntm.rillonite （m.T） in vinylester for preparing nanoclay/vinylester gel coat was reported. Two sets of m.T/vinylester specim.ns, nam.ly Type I and Type 2, were prepared for com.arative studies. Type I specim.ns were prepared using ultrasonication only, and Type 2 specim.ns were prepared using both ultrasonication and twin-screw extrusion. According to XRD and TEm.results, Type 2 specim.ns showed lower levels of nanoclay agglom.ration and higher levels o! exfoliation. DSC results showed that the glass transition tem.eratures of Type 2 specim.ns are higher than those of Type 1 specim.ns. TGA results showed that the residual weight of 4 wt.% m.T/vinylester of Type 1 was 7.38%, while the corresponding value of Type 2 was 13,5%, indicating lower therm.l degradation in the latter. m.Tt vinylester/glass and m.T/vinylester/carbon specim.ns were fabricated and tested for m.chanical and fire retardation behaviours. Type 2 based nanocom.osite lam.nates showed greater values of ultim.te tensile strength, flexural strength, interlam.nar shear strength, im.act strength, horizontal burning rate, and vertical burning rate than Type 1 based lam.nates. SEm.im.ges of tensile fractured surfaces revealed that Type 2 based lam.nates have no or less agglom.ration of nanoclay than Type 1 based lam.nates.

Linear Least Square (LLS) is an approach for m.deling regression analysis, applied for prediction and quantification of the strength of relationship between dependent and independent variables. There are a num.er of m.thods for solving the LLS problem.but as soon as the data size increases and system.becom.s ill conditioned, the classical m.thods becom. com.lex at tim. and space with decreasing level of accuracy. Proposed work is based on prediction and quantification of the strength of relationship between sugar fasting and Post-Prandial (PP) sugar with 73 factors that affect diabetes. Due to the large num.er of independent variables, presented problem.of diabetes prediction also presented sim.lar com.lexities. ABS m.thod is an approach proven better than other classical approaches for LLS problem.. ABS algorithm.has been applied for solving LLS problem. Hence, separate regression equations were obtained for sugar fasting and PP severity.
