Understanding h.w sum.er warm.ng inﬂuences th. parent and daugh.er sh.ot production in a perennial clonal grass is vital for com.reh.nding th. response of grassland productivity to global ***,we conducted a sim.lated experim.nt using potted Leym.s ch.nensis,to study th. relationsh.p between th. ph.tosynth.tic activ-ity of parent sh.ots and th. production of daugh.er sh.ots under a wh.le(90 days)sum.er warm.ng scenario(+3°C).Th. results sh.wed th.t th. biom.ss of parents and buds decreased by 25.52%and 33.45%,respectively,under warm.ng *** reduction in parent sh.ot biom.ss due to warm.ng directly resulted from.decreased leaf area(18.03%),ch.oroph.ll a(18.27%),ch.oroph.ll b(29.21%)content,as well as a reduction in net ph.tosynth.tic rate(7.32%)and th. m.xim.m.quantum.efﬁciency of ph.tosystem.II(PSII)ph.toch.m.stry(4.29%).Th. decline in daugh.er sh.ot biom.ss was linked to a decrease in daugh.er sh.ot num.er(33.33%)by ***,th. num.er of belowground buds increased by 46.43%.Th. results indicated th.t long-term.sum.er warm.ng reduces biom.ss accum.lation in parent sh.ot by increasing both.lim.tation of stom. and ***,th. parent sh.ot allocates relatively m.re biom.ss to th. belowground organs to m.intain th. survival and growth.of ***,buds,as a potential aboveground population,could rem.dy for th. cur-rent loss of parent sh.ot density by increasing th. num.er of future daugh.er sh.ots if sum.er warm.ng subsides.

Th. 6 August 2023 m.5.5 Pingyuan earth.uake is th. largest earth.uake in th. central North.Ch.na Plain (NCP) over th. past two decades. Due to th. th.ck sedim.ntary cover, no corresponding active faults h.ve been reported yet in th. epicenter area. Th.s, th.s earth.uake presents a unique opportunity to delve into th. buried active faults beneath.th. NCP. By integrating strong ground m.tion records, h.gh.precision aftersh.ck sequence relocation, and focal m.ch.nism.solutions, we gain insigh.s into th. seism.tectonics of th. Pingyuan earth.uake. Th. aftersh.cks are clustered at depth. ranging from.15 to 20 km.and delineate a NE-SW trend, consistent with.th. distribution of ground m.tion records. A NE-SW nodal plane (226°) of th. focal m.ch.nism.solutions is also derived from.regional waveform.inversion, suggesting th.t th. m.insh.ck was dom.nated by strike-slip m.tion with.m.nor norm.l faulting com.onent. Integrating regional geological data, we propose th.t an unrecognized fault between th. NE-SW trending Gaotang and Lingxian-Yangxin faults is th. seism.genic fault of th.s event. Based on th. S-wave velocity structure beneath.th. NCP, th.s fault probably extends into th. lower crust with.a h.gh.angle. Considering th. tectonic regim. and stress state, we speculate th.t th. interplay of sh.ar strain between th. Objective: To develop and internally validate a nom.gram.to predict recurrence-free survival (RFS) including th. tim. to radical cystectom. (RC) and perioperative blood transfusion (PBT) as potential ***: Patients wh. underwent open RC and ileal conduit between January 1996 to Decem.er 2016 were split into developing (n=948) and validating (n=237) coh.rts. Th. tim. to radical cystectom. (TTC) was defined as th. interval between th. onset of sym.tom. and RC. Th. regression coefficients of th. independent predictors obtained by Cox regression were used to construct th. nom.gram. Discrim.nation, validation, and clinical usefulness in th. validation coh.rt were assessed by th. area under th. curve, th. calibration plot, and decision curve ***: In th. developing dataset, th. 1-, 5-, and 10-year RFS were 83.0%, 47.2%, and 44.4%, respectively. On m.ltivariate analysis, independent predictors were TTC (h.zards ratio [h.] 1.07, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.05-1.08, ph. 1.40, 95% CI 1.03-1.90, p=0.03;two or m.re units: h. 1.72, 95% CI 1.29-2.29, ph.droneph.osis (h. 1.54, 95% CI 1.21-1.97, pm.us cell carcinom. (h. 0.60, 95% CI 0.45-0.81, p=0.001), pT3-T4 (h. 1.77, 95% CI 1.41-2.22, pm.h.node status (h. 1.53, 95% CI 1.21-1.95, pm.h.vascular invasion (h. 1.28, 95% CI 1.01-1.62, p=0.044). Th. areas under th. curve in th. validation dataset were 79.3%, 69.6%, and 76.2%, for 1-, 5-, and 10-year RFS, respectively. Calibration plots sh.wed considerable correspondence between predicted and actual survival probabilities. Th. decision curve analysis revealed a better net benefit of th. ***: A nom.gram.with.good discrim.nation, validation, and clinical utility was constructed utilizing TTC and PBT in addition to standard path.logical criteria.
