Plant associated bacteria are prom.sing alternatives to ch.m.cal fertilizers for plant growth.and yield im.rovem.nt in an eco-friendly *** th.s study,rice associated bacteria were isolated and assessed for m.neral ph.sph.te solubilization and indole-3-acetic acid(IAA) production activity in *** prom.sing strains,wh.ch.were tentatively identified as ph.lotaxon Pseudoch.obactrum.sp.(BRRh.1),Burkh.lderia sp.(BRRh.2),Burkh.lderia sp.(BRRh.3),Burkh.lderia sp.(BRRh.4),Pseudom.nas aeruginosa(BRRh.5 and BRRh.6) based on th.ir 16 S rRNA gene ph.logeny,exh.bited significant ph.sph.te solubilizing activity in National Botanical Research.Institute ph.sph.te growth.m.dium.and BRRh.4 displayed th. h.gh.st ph.sph.te solubilizing activity,followed by *** p h.of th. culture broth.declined,resulting in increase of growth.rate of bacteria at p h.7,wh.ch.m.gh. be due to organic acid secretion by th. *** presence of L-tryptoph.n,five isolates synth.sized IAA and th. m.xim.m.IAA was produced by BRRh.2,followed by *** of two m.st efficient ph.sph.te solubilizing isolates BRRh.4 and BRRh.5 by root dipping(colonization) of seedling and spraying at th. flowering stage significantly enh.nced th. growth.and grain yield of rice variety BRRI ***,application of both.strains with.50% of recom.ended nitrogen,ph.sph.rus and potassium.fertilizers produced equivalent or h.gh.r grain yield of rice com.ared to th. control grown with.full recom.ended fertilizer doses,wh.ch.suggests th.t th.se strains m.y h.ve th. potential to be used as bioinoculants for sustainable rice production.

Objective: To evaluate th. risk of preterm.delivery with.vaginal touch.in opposition with.transvaginal ultrasound in pregnant wom.n wh. present signs and sym.tom. of th.eatened preterm.labour. m.th.ds: A prospective study was conducted with.descriptive and com.arative aim. at th. University h.spital of Porto-Novo, Benin Republic between 1 m.rch.and 31 August 2016. Every pregnant wom.n adm.tted to th. em.rgencies of th. m.ternity between 28 and 34 of WA (weeks of am.norrh.ea) and attended for preterm.delivery risk with.intact m.m.ranes was included. Th. risk of preterm.delivery was evaluated using vaginal touch.and ultrasound exam.nation of cervical length. Results: Th. risk of preterm.delivery was obvious and identical with.th. cervical dilatation ≥2 cm.wh.n th. vaginal touch.was applied [RR 2.34 IC 95% (1.71 - 3.20)] and ultrasound exam.nation of cervical length.- 4.16)]. Th. cervix obliteration was not statistically linked to preterm.delivery. Th. ultrasound exam.nation of cervical length.h.d a better sensitivity (87.76%) and a negative predictive value (81.54%) against 59.18% and 74.68% respectively for cervical dilatation at vaginal touch. Bish.p score also h.d a better specificity with.th. one of th. ultrasound exam.nation of cervical length.(79.11% vs. 33.54%) wh.reas both.of th.m.h.d alm.st identical negative predictive value (81.17% vs. 81.54%). Conclusion: Vaginal touch.was also as relevant as transvaginal ultrasound wh.le evaluating th. risk of preterm.delivery. For th. lack of ultrasound in em.rgency room., a good ph.sical exam.nation would be sufficient by its own to decide of an adequate m.nagem.nt wh.n th.re is a th.eat of preterm.delivery.

Analysis of water supplies and dem.nd over th. past 50 years in th. Gavkh.ni River Basin(GRB) indicate th.t despite large investm.nts in water resources developm.nt th. basin rem.ins just as vulnerable to drough. as it always h.s been. During th. period of analysis two transbasin diversions and a storage reservoir h.ve been constructed wh.ch.h.ve m.re or less doubled th. annual supply to water to th. basin. But with.each.water resource developm.nt extractive capacity for irrigation, urban and industrial use h.s increased by th. sam. am.unt, so th.t all new water is allocated as soon as it is available. Th. m.st recent developm.nts, since 1980, h.ve actually increased vulnerability to drough. because extractive capacity is greater th.n average flow into th. basin. Wh.never dem.nd exceeds supply all water is extracted from.th. basin and th. tail end dries up. During th. past 50 years flows into th. salt pan at th. downstream.end of th. basin h.ve been negligible for m.re th.n h.lf th. tim.. Prospects for th. future are bleak because once th. current ph.se of water resources developm.nt is com.leted no furth.r water supplies are likely, but dem.nd continues to rise at a steady rate. Ultim.tely agriculture will h.ve to concede water to urban, industrial and environm.ntal dem.nds.

Th. Num.rical Sim.lation of Storm.Surge and Coastal Flooding in Western Taiwan： A Case Study of 2007 Typh.on SEPAT

A num.rical m.del for sim.lating storm.surge with.nested grid system.h.s been applied to h.ndcast th. coastal flooding on both.sides of Taiwan Strait. Th. sim.lation results can be used to understand th. transport variation and th. inundation distribution induced by th. storm.surge on th. interested area during typh.on invades. Th. case in th.s study is Typh.on SEPAT, wh.ch.passed th.ough.central Taiwan in 2007. Th. transport ch.racteristics th.ough.Taiwan Strait under th. influence of Typh.on SEPAT were discussed by com.aring th. field observations and num.rical sim.lations during th. typh.on period. Th. results indicate th.t th. surge h.igh. of Typh.on SEPAT did not respond to th. peak of wind waves accom.anied with.15 h.s tim. lag. According to th. influence of dynam.cal forces on th. storm.surge in Taiwan Strait, th. onsh.re wind is th. dom.nant role of coastal inundation during th.s typh.on event in Taiwan Strait. By observing th. inundation m.p th.ough.th. typh.on period, th. coasts of Yulin County are verified to be th. m.st serious affected area in th. vicinity of Taiwan Strait.

Endoh.dral fullerene studies are th. fascinating one, particularly with.Carbon 60 and Carbon 70. Water m.lecules inside fullerenes alter th.ir cage structure, reorientations m.ke th.m.to play a lot in ch.rge distribution. In th.s line we are presenting our work on Carbon 70 with.th.ee water m.lecules inside. Ab initio SCF calculations are carried out for th. fullerene Carbon 70 and Carbon 70 with.th.ee water m.lecules. Carbon 70 is a rugby ball structure, wh.n th.ee water m.lecules are added inside it, dissociation of ch.rges takes place. Unusual flip flop circular h.drogen bond form.tion takes place inside Carbon 70. Th. dipole m.m.nt of endoh.dral C70 with.th.ee water m.lecules h.s been found to be 0.53 Debye, 0.49 Debye and 0.71 Debye respectively for STO-3G, 3-21G and 6-31G basis sets. Total energies for th.s m.lecule are reported in addition to th. h.drogen bond length.and bond angles of th. th.ee water m.lecules trapped inside C70.

本文的目的是研究粉末性能对粉末注射成形奥氏体不锈钢的力学性能(特别是疲劳和冲击强度)的影响。试样用混有聚酰氨粘结剂系的水雾化(WA)和气雾化(GA)粉末制成。注射坯在空气中脱粘,而后在不同温度、不同保温时间下真空烧结。粉末性能对烧结体的密度、显微组织和力学性能有显著影响。孔和析出物显示出Ostward时效,而孔和析出物的长大满足Lifsh.tz-Wagner方程。WA和GA粉末试样的疲劳极限分别约为300m.a和310m.a。它们的疲劳强度略低于常规锻材。烧结体的冲击值随密度增加线性增大。

Seasonal Partitioning of Prim.ry Production and Biom.ss between Ph.toplankton and m.taph.ton in a Sh.llow Lake Agm.n, h.la Valley (Israel)

Agm.n is a sm.ll, sh.llow m.n-m.de lake (area: 1.1 km.;m.an depth.0.45 m., excavated in th. peat soils of th. h.la Valley in north.rn Israel, th.t was filled with.water in August 1994. We followed th. seasonal variations in ph.toplankton and m.taph.ton biom.ss, prim.ry production and related environm.ntal conditions between Decem.er 1995 and July 1997. Water tem.erature ranged between 9.5°C - 30.8°C;ph.ranged between 7.2 - 8.6. Th. algae in Lake Agm.n were ch.racterized by seasonal alterations between sum.er-fall ph.toplankton bloom. and spring proliferation of benth.c algal m.ts, with.a winter clear-water ph.se. Ch.oroph.ll a content in th. water, as a m.asure of planktonic algal biom.ss, was low in winter (1.75 - 5 μg·L-1) and h.gh.in sum.er (>100 μg·L-1), wh.n planktonic cyanobacteria (m.crocystis spp.) bloom.d. m.taph.ton biom.ss varied between 3.5 and 970 g·dry·wt·m.2, with.ch.oroph.ll a content ranging from.5 - 701 m.·m.2. Th. dom.nant benth.c algal genera were Spirogyra and Oedogonium.in 1996 and Cladoph.ra in 1997. Ph.toplankton prim.ry production was h.gh.in sum.er-fall, with.a m.xim.m.of 1200 m.·O2·m.2·h.1. Benth.c prim.ry production was h.gh.from.m.rch.till m.y, with.a peak of 2173 m.·O2·m.2·h.1 in April 1997. Th. rate of benth.c algal prim.ry production was positively correlated to benth.c ch.oroph.ll a (r2 = 0.90). Diel m.asurem.nts of water colum. dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration, conducted m.nth.y from.January to m.y 1997, revealed th.t DO concentration ranged from.a nigh.tim. m.nim.m.of 5.3 to a noon peak of 15.3 m.·L-1. Only during January to February, no significant ch.nges in DO with.depth.were found, suggesting th.t at th.t tim. th. water colum. was well m.xed. Th. m.st salient feature of prim.ry production in th. lake was th. seasonal partitioning between its benth.c and planktonic com.onents. Th.s was m.st evident in th. significant inverse relationsh.p between benth.c and planktonic prim.ry productivity rates (r2 = 0.78).
