Tilted global solar irradiance in Bah.ain:an experim.ntal study

In th. present work,tilted global solar irradiance data are presented and analysed,m.asured for a period of 1 year on th. cam.us of Bah.ain Polytech.ic,Kingdom.of Bah.ain,from.both.a fixed ph.tovoltaic panel and a m.ving one via a two-axis solar *** fixed panel faces south.with.an angle of 26°with.respect to th. h.rizontal,coinciding with.th. local geograph.cal *** second panel is m.ved by two m.tors,controlled by a global positioning system.and suitable software so th.t th. Sun’s rays are perpendicular to th. panel surface.A pyranom.ter is installed on each.panel,recording th. tilted global solar irradiance,stored by using a data *** analysis of th. data obtained sh.ws a 33%solar energy gain on an annual basis for th. m.ving panel(2780 versus 2088 kWh.m.(2) on th. fixed panel).m.re im.ortantly,in June,wh.n th. energy dem.nd in Bah.ain is elevated due to th. increased residential cooling loads,th. solar energy received by th. m.ving panel is 54.7%h.gh.r com.ared with.th.t of th. fixed *** a percentage basis,th. increase in solar energy from.th. m.ving panel is profound in th. early m.rning and late evening ***,th. reduction in th. solar energy received by th. fixed panel from.m.y to June does not appear in th. m.ving panel because of th. adjustable orientation of th. *** th. year,th. m.an daily solar power varies between 0.37 and 0.56 kW/m.(2) for th. fixed panel,and 0.45 and 0.70 kW/m.(2) for th. m.ving *** winter,solar energy fluctuations are elevated due to erratic weath.r conditions th.t present a peak standard deviation of 28%of th. corresponding *** data presented are useful for potential solar investm.nts in Gulf countries.

Cm. open *** m.tter,in th. fram.work of th. sim.lified m.del(m.no-Z′),can be produced from.proton-proton collisions in association with.a new h.poth.tical gauge boson,Z′.Th.s,th. search.was conducted in th. dim.on plus large m.ssing transverse m.m.ntum.*** bench.0}rk scenario of m.no-Z′,wh.ch.is known as ligh. vector,was used for interpreting th. Cm. open *** evidence of dark m.tter was observed,and exclusion lim.ts were set on th. m.sses of dark m.tter and Z′at 95%confidence level.

Condition m.nitoring of th. insulating system.with.n power transform.rs h.s a m.ssive im.ortance according to th. electrical *** gas analysis(DGA)is frequently used for th.s ***,DGA lacks th. necessary level of accuracy to identify all equipm.nt faults,particularly in th.ir initial stages of ***,it does not h.ve th. capability for real-tim. m.nitoring and relies on m.nual sam.ling and laboratory testing,causing potential delays in fault ***,th. interpretation of DGA data necessitates specialised expertise,wh.ch.m.y pose difficulties for sm.ller entities th.t h.ve lim.ted access to ***,th. contribution of th.s research.is to use infrared spectroscopy m.asurem.nts as a new effective tech.ique substituting th. DGA m.th.d for fault diagnosis in insulating *** inception faults th.t were considered in th.s study were th. electrical fault(disch.rges of h.gh.energy)and th. th.rm.l fault(300°Cm.eratureh.t,two test cells were crafted especially for serving th. sim.lation processes inside th. laboratory for both.types of inception ***,six sam.les of pure paraffinic m.neral oil were taken to be degraded in th. *** th.t,all of th.m.besides anoth.r sam.le th.t were not subjected to any kind of faults were taken to be exam.ned by Fourier transform.infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy to obtain an overview of th. oil's beh.viour in each.fault *** th.t,th. Th.s paper is investigating th. use of com.osite arm.ur reinforced by nanom.terials, for th. protection of ligh. arm.ured(LAV) and m.dium.arm.ured m.litary veh.cles(m.V), and th. interaction between th. com.osite m.terials and h.gh.perform.nce ballistic projectiles. Four arm.ur m.terials, consisted of front h.brid fibre reinforced polym.r cover layer, ceram.c strike-face, fibre reinforced polym.r interm.diate layer and th. m.tal m.trix com.osite reinforced backplate, were m.nufactured and assem.led by adh.sive tech.ology. Th. proposed lam.nated protection system.is suitable for arm.ured ground veh.cles;h.wever, it could be used as arm.ur on ground, air and naval platform.. Th. design of th. protection system. including m.terial selection and th.ckness, was elaborated depending on th. perform.nce requirem.nts of Level 4 + STANAG 4569 m.litary standard(projectile 14.5 m. × 114 m. API B32) and especially on a design ph.losoph. wh.ch.is analysed with.th. specifications. Th. backplate of th.s new com.osite is a h.brid m.terial of m.tal m.trix Com.osite(m.C) reinforced with.carbon nanotubes(CNTs), m.nufactured with.th. use of powder m.tallurgy tech.ique. Th. com.osite backplate m.terial was m.rph.logically, m.ch.nically and ch.m.cally analysed. Results sh.w th.t all plates are presenting h.gh.m.ch.nical properties and ballistic ch.racteristics, com.ared to com.only used arm.ur plates. Real m.litary ballistic tests according to AEP-STANAG 4569 were carried out for th. total com.osite arm.ur system.. After th. ballistic tests, AA2024-CNT3 sh.wed th. best protection results, com.ared with.th. oth.r plates(AA2024-CNT1 and AA2024-CNT2), with.th. projectile being unable to fully penetrate th. com.osite plate.
