g.yphosate resistant (g.) Canada fleabane (horseweed) has quickly spread across southwestern Ontario and is a difficult weed to control in g. crops. g.yphosate dim.thylam.ne (dm.)/2,4-d choline (enlist duo?Tm.dow Ag.oSciences LLC), a new herbicide prem.x developed by dow Ag.o Sciences, provides control of g. and other problem.tic weeds. The objective of this study was to com.are sing.e and sequential applications of g.yphosate dm./2,4-d choline for the control of g. Canada fleabane in g. corn. Three sing.e applications of g.yphosate (dm.)/2,4-d choline (1720 g.ae·ha-1) were evaluated: 1) preplant (PP) applied to Canada fleabane up to 10 cm.diam.ter/heig.t, 2) postplant 1 (POST 1) applied when Canada fleabane was up to 20 cm.tall and 3) postplant 2 (POST 2) applied up to 30 cm.tall Canada fleabane. Four sequential applications were also exam.ned:1) PP followed by (fb) POST 1, 2) PP fb POST 2, 3) POST 1 fb POST 2 and 4) PP fb POST 1 fb POST 2. The sing.e applications provided 69%-86% control of the g. Canada fleabane while the sequential applications increased control to 92%-100%. Three applications did not provide an increase in control over a sequential two-pass application at 8 weeks after the application (WAA). Results from.this research indicate that a sequential 2-pass application of g.yphosate dm./2,4-d choline provided acceptable control of g. Canada fleabane in corn.

Objective： The aim.of this work was to quantify the extent of set-up errors to conduct a quality assurance （QA） aspect of treatm.nt delivery, verification of the treatm.nt field＇s position on different days using.electronic portal. m.thods： This study was carried out on 12 patients, treated for pelvis tum.r; and total of 240 im.g.s obtained by electronic portal im.g. device （ePId） were analyzed. The ePIs acquire using.ePId attached to the Siem.ns linear accelerator. The anatom. m.tch- ing.software （Theraview） was used and displacem.nt in two dim.nsions were noted for each treatm.nt field to study patient setup errors. Results： The percentag.s of m.an deviations less than 5 m. in X direction were 65% ＆ 92%, from.5-10 m. were 31% ＆ 19% and m.re than 10 m. were 11% ＆ 9% forNP and lateral direction respectively. The percentag.s of m.an deviations less than 5 m. in Y direction were 65% ＆ 63%, from.5-10 m. were 33% ＆ 28% and m.re than 10 m. were 22% ＆ 29%. The m.an deviations in 2d-vector errors were 〈 5 m. in 47% and 46%, 5-10 m. in 36% and 37% and 〉 10 m. in 37% and 37% of im.g.s in the NP and lateral direction respectively. Conclusion： The results revealed that the rang.s of set up errors are im.obilization m.thod to im.rove reproducibility. The observed variations were not within the lim.ts..

Interven tion(s): Patients were divided into two g.oups. In g.oup A (n = 51) all em.ryos transferred expressed shLA-g.above the g.om.tric m.an (shLA-g.), whereas in g.roup B (n = 56) all em.ryos transferred were shLA-g.ve. m.in Outcom. m.asure(s ): Viable preg.ancy rate (patients with fetal heart activity at 8 weeks of g.sta tion per em.ryo transfer procedure), and im.lantation rate (viable g.stational s acs per total em.ryos transferred). Result(s): When all em.ryos transferred were shLA-g.ve the preg.ancy and im.lantation rates were 75%(38/51) and 44%(51/1 16), respectively, com.ared to 23%(13/56) and 14%(20/143) when all em.ryos tra nsferred were shLA-g.ve. Conclusion(s): Preg.ancy and im.lantation rates after day 3 em.ryo transfer are im.roved when shLA-g.expression in phase I culture m.edia at 46 hours after fertilization by ICSI is used prospectively as a criterio n for selecting.optim.l em.ryos for transfer.

AIm. To investig.te the potential burden of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASh) and advanced fibrosis in a hispanic ***: Four hundred and forty two participants with available ultrasonog.aphy data from.the Cam.ron County hispanic Cohort were included in this study. each participant com.leted a com.rehensive questionnaire reg.rding.basic dem.g.aphic inform.tion, m.dical history, m.dication use, and social and fam.ly history including.alcohol use. Values of the nonalcoholic fatty liver disease fibrosis score(NFS), FIB4 index, BARd score, and Aspartate am.notransferase to Platelet Ratio Index(APRI) were com.uted using.the blood sam.les collected within 6 m. of liver ultrasonog.aphy from.each participant. hepatic steatosis was determ.ned by ultrasonog.aphy. As part of univariable analysis, for continuous variables, com.arisons am.ng.g.oups were perform.d with student-t test, one way analysis of variance, and m.nn-Whitney test. Pearson χ2 and the Fisher exact test are used to assess differences in categ.rical variables. For m.ltivariable analyses, log.stic reg.ession analyses were perform.d to identify characteristics associated with hepatic steatosis. All reported P values are based two-sided tests, and a P value of less than 0.05 was considered to indicate statistical ***: The m.an ag. and body m.ss index(Bm.) of the study participants were 49.1 years and 31.3 kg.m., respectively. A prem.x of 2,4-d choline and g.yphosate dim.thylam.ne (dm.) has been developed for application on tolerant corn, soybean and cotton crops that provides an option for the control of this problem.tic g. weed. The objective of this research was to determ.ne the required dose needed to effectively control g. Canada fleabane at different size categ.ries in field and g.eenhouse experim.nts. In the field experim.nts, nine rates of 2,4-d choline/g.yphosate dm. (53.8 to 13,760 g.ae·ha-1) were applied to g. Canada fleabane that were 10 cm.in diam.ter/tall, 20 cm.tall or 30 cm.tall. Sim.larly, in the g.eenhouse, seven rates of 2,4-d choline/g.yphosate dm. (0 to 3440 g.ae·ha-1) were applied to 10, 20 and 30 cm.tall g. Canada fleabane plants. The three different size classes of g. Canada fleabane responded sim.larly to 2,4-d choline/g.yphosate dm. in the field experim.nt. In the g.eenhouse there were som. differences in control for the three size classes of g. Canada fleabane with 2,4-d choline/g.yphosate dm.;the 20 and 30 cm.tall plants required sim.lar rates to provide equivalent control, but the 10 cm.plants required a lower rate. In all situations, g.eater than 1720 g.ae·ha-1 of 2,4-d choline/g.yphosate dm. was required to provide 95% control of 10, 20 and 30 cm.tall Canada fleabane in g.eenhouse (35 dAA) and field experim.nts (8 WAA), respectively.

PURPOSe: This study was desig.ed to assess the long. term.results following.radiochem.therapy in patients with anal squam.us- cell carcinom. and to evaluate the im.act of tum.r location on response, survival, and colostom.- free survival. PATIeNTS ANd m.ThOdS: Between 1985 and 2001, a total of 101 patients with anal carcinom. were reg.stered for curative treatm.nt, of whom.77 had involvem.nt of the anal canal alone, 10 cases had extension into the perianal skin, and 14 patients had pure anal m.rg.n tum.rs. Sm.ll tum.rs of the anal m.rg.n were not included since they were treated by surg.cal excision only. Am.ng.the 101 patients were 74 wom.n and 27 m.n with a m.dian ag. of 62 (rang., 26- 84) years. T categ.ries (Interna- tional Union ag.inst Cancer) were T1 (15), T2 (36), T3 (34), and T4 (16). Seventy- one patients had no evidence of nodal disease, whereas 30 presented with involved reg.onal nodes. Radiation treatm.nt was directed to the prim.ry tum.r reg.on and to the ing.inal, perirectal, and internal iliac nodes using.a three- field to four- field box technique with 10m. photons up to a total dose of 5040 cg.. Lesions g.eater than 5 cm.received an additional boost by interstitial or external radiation depending.on circum.erential extension of the residual tum.r. All patients were scheduled for sim.ltaneous chem.therapy with two cycles of 5- fluorouracil at a dose of 1000 m./m./day as 120 hours of continuous intravenous infusion on days 1 to 5 and 29 to 33 and m.tom.cin C at 10 m./m./day on days 1 and 29. m.dian follow- up tim. was was 7.5 (rang., 1- 16) years. ReSULTS: Overall survival and colostom.- free survival rates for patients with anal canal cancer were 75 percent and 87 percent at five years, respectively. 背景放疗可以提高整个机体对免疫治疗的应答。在Ⅱ期Pem.RO-RT研究和Ⅰ/Ⅱ期m.ACC研究中,患有转移性非小细胞肺癌(NSCLC)的患者被随机分配入组,接受免疫治疗(帕博利珠单抗)+放疗联合疗法,或免疫治疗单一疗法。当上述2个研究单独分析时,联合疗法组显示出潜在获益。由于每个研究的样本量较小,缓解率和结局并未显示出统计学意义,然而却有显著的临床获益。因此,本研究进行汇总分析,来判断放疗是否会改善转移性NSCLC患者的免疫治疗应答。方法Pem.RO-RT和m.ACC研究纳入标准:患者年龄≥18岁,患有转移性NSCLC,且有≥1处未经放疗照射的病灶,以便进行射野外应答监测。Pem.RO-RT研究纳入曾接受过化疗患者,m.ACC研究纳入曾接受过治疗或新诊断患者。2个研究中的患者均未接受过免疫治疗。在Pem.RO-RT研究中患者被等比例随机分配入组,并根据吸烟状态进行分层(分为m.ACC研究的患者根据放疗计划可行性被等比例随机分配入2个受试组。由于联合治疗组的干预本质,每个研究中的放疗均不适用盲法。在2个研究中,不论是否进行放疗,均静脉滴入帕博利珠单抗(每3周200 m.)。在Pem.RO-RT研究中,在放疗(24 g. 3次分割照射)结束后1周给予第1剂帕博利珠单抗。在m.ACC研究中,在第1次放疗(50 g. 4次分割照射或45 g. 15次分割照射)同时给予帕博利珠单抗。仅检测未经照射病灶的应答。本研究的终点为最佳射野外(远隔)应答率(ARR)、最佳射野外疾病控制率(ACR)、12周时ARR、12周时ACR、无进展生存期(PFS)和总生存期(OS)。2个研究的意向治疗(ITT)人群均纳入分析。Pem.RO-RT研究(NCT02492568)和m.ACC研究(NCT02444741)均在***上注册。发现纳入148例患者,76例接受帕博利珠单抗治疗,72例接受帕博利珠单抗+放疗治疗。所有患者随访时间中位数为33个月[四分位距(IQR):32.4~33.6]。148例患者中124例(84%)组织学特征为非鳞癌,111例(75%)患者曾经接受过化疗。组间没有基线特征差异,包括Pd-L1表达状态和转移灶体积。最常见的照射部位为肺转移灶(39%,28/72)、胸腔内淋巴结(21%,15/72)和非原发灶(17%,12/72)。帕博利珠单抗组和联合治疗组的最佳ARR分别为19.7%(15/76)和41.7%(30/72),OR=2.96,95%CI:1.42~6.20,P=0.0039;最佳ACR分别为43.4%(33/76)和65.3%(47/72),OR=2.51,95%CI:1.28~4.91,P=0.0071;PFS中位数分别为4.4(IQR:2.9~5.9)和9.0个月(IQR:6.8~11.2),hR=0.67,95%CI:0.45~0.99,P=0.045;OS中位数分别为8.7(IQR:6.4~11.0)和19.2个月(IQR:14.6~23.8),OR=0.67,95%CI:0.54~0.84,P=0.0004。在汇总分析中没有发现新的安全问题。解读帕博利珠单抗免疫疗法+放疗显著提高转移性NSCLC患者的应答和改善治疗结局。这些结果需要在三期临床试验中进行验证。

The 2,4-d choline/g.yphosate dm. form.lation has reduced drift and volatility com.ared to the am.ne or ester form.lation of 2,4-d and therefore is advantag.ous com.ared to a tank m.x of 2,4-d am.ne or ester with g.yphosate. The objective of this research was to com.are the control of g.yphosate susceptible and g.yphosate resistant Canada fleabane with 2,4-d choline/g.yphosate dm. with 2,4-d am.ne, g.yphosate, and a tank m.x of 2,4-d am.ne and g.yphosate. Ten rates of 2,4-d am.ne (0 - 6708 g.m.ddotae&m.ddotha-1), g.yphosate (0 - 7052 g.m.ddotae&m.ddotha-1), a tank m.x of g.yphosate plus 2,4-d am.ne (0 - 7052 g.m.ddotae&m.ddotha-1 + 0 - 6708), and 2,4-d choline/g.yphosate dm. (0 - 13760 g.m.ddotae&m.ddotha-1) were exam.ned in the g.eenhouse for the control of two susceptible (g.) and two resistant to g.yphosate (g.) Canada fleabane biotypes. The tank m.x of 2,4-d am.ne plus g.yphosate and 2,4-d choline/g.yphosate dm. provided equivalent control of the g. Canada fleabane biotypes at 35 days after the application (dAA). The 2,4-d choline/g.yphosate dm. treatm.nt was m.re efficacious than the tank m.x on the g. biotypes. g.yphosate (880 g.m.ddotae&m.ddotha-1) provided 50% and 100% control of the resistant and susceptible biotypes, respectively. The 2,4-d choline/g.yphosate dm. form.lation and the tankm.x of 2,4-d am.ne and g.yphosate provided sim.lar control of g. Canada fleabane.
