Introduction: Hydatid cyst intracranial is an endem.c parasitosis and rare of the order of 1% to 4% of the cases. The calcified cerebral hydatid cyst is even m.re exceptional, we report a case collected in our service to illustrate the difficulties of diagnosis and the m.nagem.nt. We will not discuss the outcom.. Case Report: We reported a 22-year-old fem.le which presented to right body, seizures of the type Bravais Jackson with facial participation, headache, dizziness, pre-critical and post critical seizures evolving over a m.nth, and subsequently followed by a heaviness of the right hem.-body responsible for m.wing when walking. She was hospitalized for m.nagem.nt after perform.ng a CT scan and brain m.I. The surgical treatm.nt consisted of a left parietal flap with a com.lete excision of a process whose m.croscopic appearance first evoked a calcified hydatid cyst confirm.d by histology. Conclusion: The cerebral calcified hydatid cyst rem.ins an exceptional pathology with som. difficulties in diagnosis and m.nagem.nt.

We report a case of a cerebellar pleom.rphic xantoastrocytom. which m.nifested itself as a cystic isodense lesion in a 39 year-old *** years after first surgery,the patient was subm.tted to a second operation,which revealed a m.dian-density tum.r,difficultly differentiated from.the norm.l parenchym.,with cystic *** histopathological exam.nation dem.nstrated pleom.rphic xanthoastrocytom. with m.lignant transform.tion.A rare case of m.lignant transform.tion in cerebellar pleom.rphic xanthoastrocytom. is presented,discussed and illustrated in this paper.

Pleom.rphic xanthoastrocytom. (PXA) generally occurs in children and young adults and is classified as a low-grade astrocytic tum.r with a potential favorable prognosis. But these data m.st be interpreted with m.ch caution, because of som. rapid progression or m.lignant transform.tion during the postoperative follow-up. We report herein a rare case of a cerebellar PXA m.nifested as a benign lesion at first tim. in a 39 year-old wom.n, but with m.lignant transform.tion two years later. In this paper, we discuss the clinical signs, radiological findings and the therapeutic data on the subject according to literature review.
