Im.roving the network interface perform.nce is need.d.by the d.m.nd.of applications with high com.unication requirem.nts （for exam.le, som. m.ltim.d.a, real-tim., and.high-perform.nce com.uting applications）, and.the availability of network links provid.ng m.ltiple gigabits per second.band.id.hs that could.require m.ny processor cycles for com.unication tasks. m.lticore architectures, the current trend.in the m.croprocessor d.velopm.nt to cope with the d.fficulties to further increase clock frequencies and.m.croarchitecture efficiencies, provid. new opportunities to exploit the parallelism.available in the nod.s for d.signing efficient com.unication architectures. Nevertheless, although present OS network stacks includ. m.ltiple thread. that m.ke it possible to execute network tasks concurrently in the kernel, the im.lem.ntations of packet-based.or connection-based.parallelism.are not trivial as they have to take into account issues related.with the cost of synchronization in the access to shared.resources and.the efficient use of caches. Therefore, a com.on trend.in m.ny recent researches on this topic is to assign network interrupts and.the correspond.ng protocol and.network application processing to the sam. core, as with this affinity sched.ling it would.be possible to red.ce the contention for shared.resources and.the cache m.sses. In this paper we propose and.analyze several configurations to d.stribute the network interface am.ng the d.fferent cores available in the server. These alternatives have been d.vised.accord.ng to the affinity of the correspond.ng com.unication tasks with the location （proxim.ty to the m.m.ries where the d.fferent d.ta structures are stored. and.characteristics of the processing core. As this approach uses several cores to accelerate the com.unication path of a given connection, it can be seen as com.lem.ntary to those that consid.r several cores to sim.ltaneously process packets belonging to either the sam. or d.fferent connections.

本研究的目的是对比添加无机硫酸盐形式和螯合形式的铜、锰及锌对产奶量、血浆和乳中矿物质浓度、嗜中性粒细胞活性以及疫苗接种后抗体滴度反应的影响。试验选择25头荷斯坦奶牛,从刚产犊到泌乳12周,完全随机分为两组。第一组包括17头奶牛,泌乳天数较大(泌乳天数:试验开始时平均泌乳天数77d.,第二组包括8头牛(试验开始时平均泌乳天数32d.。试验日粮设计按照NRC建议添加量的100%添加铜、锰和锌,通过无机硫酸盐添加形式(ITm.和蛋氨酸羟基螯合物形式(CTm.,不考虑其他日粮成分提供的微量元素数量。每天记录采食量和产奶量。每周测定乳成分,乳中铜、锰及锌的含量在试验0、8周测定。血浆铜和锌浓度及嗜中性粒细胞活性在试验0、4、8及12周测定。嗜中性粒细胞活性通过体外方法测定趋药性、吞噬作用以及活性氧产量得到。试验第8周接种狂犬病疫苗,第12周时分别通过快速荧光焦点抑制试验以及酶联免疫吸附试验测定疫苗效价反应。检测得到无机和有机试验组日粮中铜分别为21m./kg和23m./kg,锰为42m./kg和46m./kg,锌为73m./kg和94m./kg。各处理组没有发现对产奶量、乳成分以及血浆矿物质含量产生影响。有机试验组干物质采食量少于无机试验组,但主要原因是因为两组牛体重的差异。乳中铜浓度,有机组高于无机组,对泌乳早期组奶牛的影响是有限的,对经产牛的影响显著高于初产牛。嗜中性粒细胞的功能没有受到不同处理组的影响,只有在泌乳天数较大牛群中的有机螯合试验组增强了嗜中性粒细胞功能。狂犬病疫苗抗体滴度,通过ELISA反应得出结论,螯合处理组奶牛反应是无机处理组的2.9倍,RFFIT方法得出结论是有增强的趋势。补充螯合形式的铜、锰及锌,与无机盐相比,可能会增强泌乳早期奶牛的免疫功能。

AIm.To assess the feasibility of perform.ng acoustic rad.ation force im.ulse(ARFI) elastography in patients with ascites and.its pred.ctive value for the cirrhotic or non-cirrhotic etiology of ***:Our stud. includ.d.153 patients with ascites,m.an age 58.8 ± 13.1 *** hund.ed.and.fifteen(75.2%) patients had.ascites in the context of cirrhosis,29(18.9%) had.non-cirrhotic ascites(d.agnosed.by clinical,ultrasound.end.scopic and.or laparoscopic criteria) and.in 9(5.9%) cases we could.not establish the etiology of *** perform.d.10 ARFI m.asurem.nts and.the m.d.an value was calculated.and.expressed.in m.ters/second.m.s).Am.ng the 29 patients with non-cirrhotic ascites were includ.d.20 laparoscopically d.m.nstrated.peritoneal carcinom.tosis with histological confirm.tion,7 acute pancreatitis with ascites which later resolved.and.one case each of lym.hatic ascites and.ascites in the context of a liver *** 11 of the 20 patients with peritoneal carcinom.tosis,the liver structure was hom.genous in the ultrasound.exam.nation and.in 9 patients the ultrasound.exam.revealed.liver ***:We could.not obtain valid.ARFI m.asurem.nts in 5 patients(3.2%).The m.an liver stiffness m.asurem.nts by m.ans of ARFI were statistically significantly higher in patients with cirrhotic ascites than in those with non-cirrhotic ascites:3.04 ± 0.70 vs 1.45 ± 0.59 m.s(P m.s for pred.cting cirrhosis(and.ascites in the context of cirrhosis),as obtained.in a previous stud.,ARFI had.98.1% sensitivity,86.2% specificity,96.4% positive pred.ctive value,92.5% negative pred.ctive value and.95.6% accuracy for pred.cting cirrhotic *** a cut-off value of 1.9 m.s the accuracy was 94.9% and.for a 2 m.s cut-off value it was 92.8%.CONCLUSION:ARFI elastography is feasible in m.st patients with ascites and.has a very good.pred.ctive value for the cirrhotic or non-cirrhotic etiology of ascites.

Background. d.abetes m.llitus (d.0} is a d.sord.r in which blood.sugar levels are abnorm.lly high because either absolute or relative insulin d.ficiency. Treatm.nt of d.abetes involves d.et, exercise, ed.cation and.for m.st people, d.ugs. Oral antid.abetic d.ugs and.or insulin d.ses m.y be affected.by co-ad.0}nistration of m.ny d.ugs includ.ng aspirin. d.se ad.ustm.nts m.y be necessary. The pain killer effect of aspirin is best known for its effects on the two cyclooxygenase enzym.s (COX1 & COX2), but, recently, aspirin could.specifically inhibit the protein I-kappa-β-kinase beta (IKK-beta). This kinase is used.for its role in the cascad. of signals that activate the nuclear factor kappa-b (NF-kappa-B) fam.ly of cellular genes which regulate inflam.atory and.im.une responses. Now, it turns out that IKK-beta also works in another pathway to contribute to insulin resistance by interfering with insulin signaling. Objective: In view of the recent rod.nt d.ta d.m.nstrating a potentially im.ortant role of IKKβ in m.d.ating insulin resistance and.the ability of salicylates to inhibit IKKβ activity, we d.cid.d.to exam.ne the role of d.fferent d.ses of aspirin (low, m.d.rate and.high) in experim.ntally ind.ced.d.abetic rats. m.terials and.m.thod.: d.0}in rats were ind.ced.by ad.0}nistration of nicotinam.d. (NAd., 15 m.n prior to the single d.se of streptozotocin STZ i.p. Ninety m.le albino rats were used.in this stud.. They were d.vid.d.into 6 m.in groups. Increasing plant d.nsity and.im.roving N fertilizer rate along with the use of high d.nsity-tolerant genotypes would.lead.to m.xim.zing m.ize(Zea m.ys L.) grain prod.ctivity per unit land.area. The objective of this investigation was to m.tch the functions of optim.m.plant d.nsity and.ad.quate nitrogen fertilizer application to prod.ce the highest possible yield. per unit area with the greatest m.ize genotype efficiency. Six m.ize inbred.lines d.ffering in tolerance to low N and.high d.nsity(d. [three tolerant(T); L-17, L-18, L-53,and.three sensitive(S); L-29, L-54, L-55] were chosen for d.allel crosses. Parents and.crosses were evaluated.in the 2012 and.2013 seasons und.r three plant d.nsities: low(47,600),m.d.um.71,400), and.high(95,200) plants ha-1and.three N fertilization rates: low(no N ad.ition), m.d.um.285 kg N ha-1) and.high(570 kg N ha-1). The T × T crosses were superior to the S × S and.T × S crosses und.r the low N–high d.environm.nt in m.st stud.ed.traits across seasons. The relationships between the nine environm.nts and.grain yield.per hectare(GYPH) showed.near-linear regression functions for inbred. L54, L29, and.L55 and.hybrid. L18 × L53 and.L18 × L55 with the highest GYPH at a d.nsity of47,600 plants ha-1and.N rate of 570 kg N ha-1and.a curvilinear relationship for inbred. L17, L18, and.L53 and.the rest of the hybrid. with the highest GYPH at a d.nsity of95,200 plants ha-1com.ined.with an N rate of 570 kg N ha-1. Cross L17 × L54 gave the highest grain yield.in this stud. und.r both high N–high-d.19.9 t ha-1) and.m.d.um.N–high-d.environm.nts(17.6 t ha-1).

Purpose: To d.scribe the epid.m.ological, clinical and.m.nagem.nt characteristics of acute coronary synd.om.s (ACS) in Thies, Senegal. m.thod.: This was a prospective stud. that includ.d.consecutively from.October 1st, 2018 to m.rch 03rd./sup>, 2019, patients aged.18 years or old.r ad.0}tted.for an ACS at the d.ABCARm.T d.partm.nt of the Saint Jean d. d.eu Hospital in Thies. Results: Of the 516 patients ad.0}tted. 29 had.ACS, the prevalence was 5.62%. The average age of the patients was 64.2 ± 11.6 years. Nineteen patients (65.5%) were m.le and.10 (34.5%) were fem.le, the sex ratio was 1.91. The num.er of d.rect ad.0}ssions was 18 (62%) versus 11 patients (38%) referred. The m.d. of transport was a private vehicle in 19 patients (65.5%), an am.ulance in 7 patients (24.1%) and.public transport in 3 patients (10.3%). STEm. (ST segm.nt elevation m.ocard.al infarction) was the m.st com.on presentation observed.in 19 patients (65.5%). Fifteen patients (51.7%) were ad.0}tted.before the 12th hour. Of the 19 patients with STEm., 11 (57.9%) had.arrived.in hospital before the 12th hour and.10 patients had.streptokinase throm.olysis. No patients received.prim.ry PCI. Ten patients (34.5%) had.heart failure and.five patients (17.2%) d.ed.d.ring hospitalization. Conclusion: d.layed.consultation and.high m.rtality characterize ACS in Thies. Prevention m.st be the rule.
