Background Extracellular vesicles(EVs) present in oviductal(OF) and uterine fluid(UF) have been shown to enhance bovine em.ryo quality during in vitro culture by reducing lipid contents and m.dulating lipid m.tabolism.related genes(Lm.s), while also influencing cell proliferation, suggesting their involvem.nt on the regulation of different biological pathways. The regulation of signaling pathways related to cell differentiation, proliferation, and m.tabo-lism.is crucial for early em.ryo developm.nt and can determ.ne the success or failure of the pregnancy. Bioactive m.lecules within EVs in m.ternal reproductive fluids, such as m.cro RNAs(m.RNAs), m.y contribute to this regulatory process as they m.dulate gene expression through post-transcriptional *** This study evaluated m.RNA cargo in OF-EVs from.the early luteal phase and UF-EVs from.the m.d-luteal phase, coinciding with em.ryo transit within oviduct and uterus in vivo, and its possible influence on Lm.s and sign-aling pathways crucial for early em.ryo developm.nt. A total of 333 m.RNAs were detected, with 11 exclusive to OF, 59 to UF, and 263 were com.on between both groups. From.the 20 differentially expressed m.RNAs, 19 up-regulated in UF-EVs(bta-m.R-134, bta-m.R-151-3p, bta-m.R-155, bta-m.R-188, bta-m.R-181b, bta-m.R-181d, bta-m.R-224, bta-m.R-23b-3p, bta-m.R-24-3p, bta-m.R-27a-3p, bta-m.R-29a, bta-m.R-324, bta-m.R-326, bta-m.R-345-3p, bta-m.R-410, bta-m.R-652, bta-m.R-677, bta-m.R-873 and bta-m.R-708) and one(bta-m.R-148b) in OF-EVs. These m.RNAs were predicted to m.dulate several pathways such as Wnt, Hippo, m.PK, and lipid m.tabolism.and degradation. differ-ences in m.RNAs found in OF-EVs from.the early luteal phase and UF-EVs from.m.d-luteal phase m.y reflect differ-ent environm.nts to m.et the changing needs of the em.ryo. Five perovskite ceram.cs sam.les of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synthesized using the conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared sam.les were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRd),Fourier transform. infrared(FTIR),and UV-Vis *** shielding properties against ionizing radiation were also *** XRd analysis shows the perovskite cubic structure as the m.jor phase in all *** FTIR reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm.(-1) ascribed to the antisym.etric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy was used to determ.ne the bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and the results display a fixed enhancem.nt in the bandgap from.3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray shielding properties of the synthesized sam.les were experim.ntally m.asured and com.ared with XCOm.com.utational *** relative differences(Δ,%)between experim.ntal and theo retical values are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads to the enhanced density,neutron,and gam.a shielding *** contrast,charged particles’shielding param.ters gradually reduce with rising Er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) sam.les can be used in different radiation shielding applications.

This paper discusses the use of atm.spheric pressure dielectric barrier discharge(dBd)plasm. treatm.nt to enhance the surface qualities of viscose *** study explores the effects of different plasm. gases,discharge voltages,and exposure tim.s on the treated *** findings em.hasize the im.ortance of optim.zing the plasm.'s peak voltage to achieve the desired surface treatm.nt *** docum.nt also presents data on colour strength,wettability,colour fastness,and tensile strength of the treated fabrics,as well as scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm.analysis of surface m.rphology and chem.cal analysis using fouriertransition infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and energy dispersive X-ray(EdX).The results show that treatm.nt at a peak voltage of 11.83 k V is m.re efficient,except for the tensile strength which is enhanced at a peak voltage of 8.92 k *** oxygen plasm. treatm.nt significantly im.roves the colour strength,which exhibits an increase from.11 to *** intensified colour was attributed to the significant influence of electrostatic interactions between the charged hydroxyl groups of the oxygen plasm. treated viscose textiles and the dye m.lecules,which enhance the *** oxygen dBd plasm. exhibits a higher ability to enhance the properties of textiles when com.ared to air and argon *** study presents a sustainable,econom.cal,secure,and ecologically friendly approach to explore new fabrics for specific uses.

Quantifying the Im.act of In-Cab Alerts on Truck Speed Reductions in Ohio

In-cab alerts warn com.ercial vehicle drivers of upcom.ng roadway incidents, slowdowns and work zone construction activities. This paper reports on a study evaluating the driver response to in-cab alerts in Ohio. driver response was evaluated by m.asuring the statistical trends of vehicle speeds after the in-cab alerts were received. Vehicle speeds pre and post in-cab alert were collected over a 47 day period in the fall of 2023 for trucks traveling on interstate roadways in Ohio. Results show that approxim.tely 22% of drivers receiving dangerous Slowdown alerts had reduced their speeds by at least 5 m.h 30 seconds after receiving such an alert. Segm.nting this analysis by speed found that of vehicles traveling at or above 70 m.h at the tim. of alerting, 26% reduced speeds by at least 5 m.h. These speed reductions suggest drivers taking actional m.asures after receiving alerts. Future studies will involve further analysis on the im.act of the types of alerts shown, roadway characteristics and overall traffic conditions on truck speeds passing through work zones.
