Widely used spin-coated nickle oxide （NiOx） based perovskite solar cells often suffer from.severe interfacial reactions between the NiOxand adjacent perovskite layers due to surface defect states,which inherently im.air device perform.nce in a long-term.view,even with surface m.lecule *** this study,we developed high-quality m.gnetron-sputtered NiOxthin film. through detailed process optim.zation,and com.ared system.tically sputtered and spin-coated NiOxthin film.surfaces from.m.terials to *** sputtered NiOxfilm. exhibit im.roved crystallinity,sm.other surfaces,and significantly reduced Ni3+or Ni vacancies com.ared to their spin-coated ***,the interface between the perovskite and sputtered NiOxfilm.shows a substantially reduced density of defect *** solar cells （PSCs） fabricated with our optim.lly sputtered NiOxfilm. achieved a high power conversion efficiency （PCE） of up to 19.93%and dem.nstrated enhanced stability,m.intaining 86.2% efficiency during 500 h of m.xim.m.power point tracking under one standard sun ***,with the surface m.dification using (4-(2,7-dibrom.-9,9-dim.thylacridin-10（9H）-yl)butyl)p hosphonic acid （Dm.cPA）,the device PCE was further prom.ted to 23.07%,which is the highest value reported for sputtered NiOxbased PSCs so far.

Si-containing m. alloys solidified at conventional rates often contain coarse and sharp m.2Si phases,which can result in inferior m.terial *** this study,m.-6wt.%Si （m.-6Si） alloy was prepared by wire arc additive m.nufacturing （WAAm.,em.loying the gas tungsten arc welding technique with rapid *** m.crostructures and m.chanical properties of the WAAm.alloy were investigated and com.ared with those of the as-cast sam.les produced using a m.tal *** results indicate that the WAAm.m.-6Si is harder and stronger than the as-cast *** m.crohardness of the WAAm.m.-6Si increases by 36.6%in com.arison to that of as-cast m.-6Si ***,the average tensile strengths at room.tem.erature and 150°C increases by 63.4%and 21.3%,*** refines both the m.2Si phase and the overall grains,resulting in a hom.geneous m.rphology and im.roved m.chanical *** granular m.2Si phase,characterized by fine particles with a diffused distribution,shows a significant increase in *** acicular m.2Si phase is distributed along the grain boundaries,and its concentration significantly *** average grain size of the m.2Si phase is about 9.20μm.about 5 tim.s *** refinem.nt and distribution of the granular m.2Si phase,as well as the reduction in the am.unt of needle-like m.2Si particles,are the key factors for im.roving the m.chanical properties of WAAm.m.-6Si alloy.

Double carbohelicenes have attracted considerable attention due to their aesthetic structures, distinct π-conjugation extension, inherent chirality, and intriguing optical and electronic properties. Herein, the concise de novo synthesis of a new double[5]carbohelicene 1 together with its chiroptical properties, isom.rization process and lasing application is presented. 1 was synthesized by a sim.le protocol involving the form.tion of a 6,6′-bipentacene as the key interm.diate. It is worth noting that1 existed as two diastereom.rs 1-PP/m. and 1-Pm. which were successfully isolated and unam.iguously confirm.d by Xray crystallography. The optical resolution of the racem.c 1-PP/m. was successfully achieved by chiral-phase highperform.nce liquid chrom.tography（HPLC）, and 1-PP and 1-m. were characterized by circular dichroism. Interestingly, it was found that 1-PP/m. could be com.letely isom.rized to 1-Pm.upon heating, and the detailed therm.dynam.cs and kinetics of the isom.rization process were system.tically investigated. 1-Pm.exhibited deep-red lum.nescence with em.ssion m.xim.m.at 723 nm.and fluorescence quantum.yield as high as 32.95%. Consequently, we can showcase the lasing application of 1-Pm.by doping with epoxy resin to assem.le a bottle m.crolaser spontaneously, which the lasing wavelength is 796.6 nm.at a threshold of 0.8 m.J cm.2. We believe that our studies, including the facile synthesis m.thodology, detailed isom.rization studies, and lasing application, will shed som. light on the design and synthesis of novel carbohelical system. with m.re functions.

Hem.topoiesis is a finely tuned process that generates all blood cell types through self-renewal and differentiation, which is crucial for m.intaining hom.ostasis. Acute infections can prom.t a hem.topoietic response known as em.rgency m.elopoiesis. In this study, using a Candida albicans (C. albicans) infection m.del, we dem.nstrated for the first tim. that disruption of Fhl2 led to increased fungal burden,heightened inflam.atory response and reduced survival rates. Im.aired m.eloid hem.topoiesis and im.une cell production were evident, as proved by the decreased num.ers of hem.topoietic stem.and progenitor cells (HSPCs) and granulocytes in the bone m.rrow of Fhl2-deficient m.ce. In conclusion, FHL2 regulated em.rgency m.elopoiesis in response to C. albicans, affecting the host’s defense against pathogens.

The North China Craton(NCC)hosts som. of the world-class gold deposits that form.d m.re than 2 billion years after the m.jor orogenic cycles and *** diverse m.dels for the genesis of these deposits rem.in equivocal,and m.stly focused on the craton m.rgin exam.les,although synchronous deposits form.d in the interior *** we adopt an integrated geological and geophysical perspective to evaluate the possible factors that contributed to the form.tion of the m.jor gold deposits in the *** the Archean tectonic fram.work of the NCC,the locations of the m.jor gold deposits fall within or adjacent to greenstone belts or the m.rgins of *** the Paleoproterozoic fram.work,they are m.rkedly aligned along two m.jor collisional sutures-the Trans North China Orogen and the Jiao-Liao-Ji *** the m.sozoic intrusions hosting these deposits do not carry adequate signals for the source of gold,we explore the deep roots based on available geophysical *** show that the gold deposits are preferentially distributed above zones of uplifted m.HO and shallow LAB corresponding to thinned crust and eroded sub-lithospheric m.ntle,and that the m.neralization is located above regions of high heat flow representing m.ntle *** NCC was at the center of a m.lti-convergent regim. during the m.sozoic which intensely churned the m.ntle and significantly en riched *** geophysical data on m.ho and LAB upwarp from.the centre towards east of the craton is m.re consistent with paleo-Pacific slab subduction from.the east exerting the dom.nant control on lithospheric *** on these results,and together with an evaluation of the geochem.cal and isotopic features of the m.sozoic m.gm.tic intrusions hosting the gold m.neralization,we propose a genetic m.del that invokes reworking of ancient Au archives preserved in the lower crust and m.tasom.tised upper m.ntle and which were generated through m.ltiple subduction,underplating and cum.lation ev

The transition of hydrogen sourcing from.carbon-intensive to water-based m.thodologies is underway,with renewable energy-powered proton exchange m.m.rane water electrolysis （PEm.E） em.rging as the preem.nent pathway for hydrogen *** rem.rkable advancem.nts in this field,confronting the sluggish electrochem.cal kinetics and inherent high-energy consum.tion arising from.deteriorated m.ss transport within PEm.E system. rem.ins a form.dable *** im.edim.nt stem. prim.rily from.the hindered protons m.ss transfer and the untim.ly hydrogen bubbles *** address these challenges,we harness the inherent variability of electrical energy and introduce an innovative pulsed dynam.c water electrolysis *** to constant voltage electrolysis (hydrogen production rate:51.6 m.L h-1,energy consum.tion:5.37 kWh Nm.3H2),this strategy (hydrogen production rate:66 m.L h-1,energy consum.tion:3.83 kWh Nm.3H2) increases the hydrogen production rate by approxim.tely 27%and reduces the energy consum.tion by about 28%.Furtherm.re,we dem.nstrate the practicality of this system.by integrating it with an off-grid photovoltaic （PV） system.designed for outdoor operation,successfully driving a hydrogen production current of up to 500 m. under an average voltage of approxim.tely 2 *** com.ined results of in-situ characterization and finite elem.nt analysis reveal the perform.nce enhancem.nt m.chanism.pulsed dynam.c electrolysis （PDE） dram.tically accelerates the enrichm.nt of protons at the electrode/solution interface and facilitates the release of bubbles on the electrode *** such,PDE-enhanced PEm.E represents a synergistic advancem.nt,concurrently enhancing both the hydrogen generation reaction and associated transport *** prom.sing technology not only redefines the landscape of electrolysis-based hydrogen production but also holds im.ense potential for broadening its application across a diverse spectrum.of electrocatalytic endeavors.
