Choledochal cyst: A difficult diagnosis

Choledochal cyst is defined as a cystic dilatation of the distal com.on bile duct protruding into the duo- denum. It is considered as the rarest congenital cyst of the biliary tract by 1.4%. We report a 46 years old wom.n who presented with recurrent jaundice associated with abdom.nal pain of 07 years duration. The liver function tests showed cholestasis. The abdom.nal scan and Biliary m.I revealed a dilatation of intrahepatic, pancreatic ducts and a dilatation of the com.on bile duct with a stenosis in its the lower part. The diagnosis of a com.on bile duct cholangiocarinom. was m.ntioned. The gastroscopy revealed a stenosed duodenal bulb not allowing us to perform.an echo endoscopy and ERCP. An intraoperative cholangiography illustrating a cystic dilatation of the papillary region in which exist a separate protrusion of the choledochal and wirsung ducts. Therefore, we didn’t accom.lish the cephalic duodeno-pancreatectom. and we decided to realize a partial resection of the papilla. The histolological exam.nation proved the absence of any tum.ral lesion and the presence of biliary m.cosa layered the internal surface of the cyst. The patient is still asym.tom.tic after one year of the surgery.

Accurate m.asurem.nts of solar radiation are required to ensure that power and energy system. continue to function effectively and *** the other hand,estim.ting it is extrem.ly challenging due to the non-stationary behaviour and random.ess of its *** this research,a novel hybrid forecasting m.del,nam.ly com.lete ensem.le em.irical m.de decom.osition with adaptive noise-Gaussian process regression(CEEm.AN-GPR),has been developed for daily global solar radiation *** non-stationary global solar radiation series is transform.d by CEEm.AN into regular *** that,the GPR m.del uses these subsets as inputs to perform.its *** to the results of this research,the perform.nce of the developed hybrid m.del is superior to two widely used hybrid m.dels for solar radiation forecasting,nam.ly wavelet-GPR and wavelet packet-GPR,in term. of m.an square error,root m.an square error,coefficient of determ.nation and relative root m.an square error values,which reached 3.23 m./m.(2)/day,1.80 m./m.(2)/day,95.56%,and 8.80%,respectively(for one-step forward forecasting).The proposed hybrid m.del can be used to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the electricity system.

Testing the validity of the Ehrenfest theorem.beyond sim.le static system.: Caldirola–Kanai oscillator driven by a tim.-dependent force

The relationship between quantum.m.chanics and classical m.chanics is investigated by taking a Gaussian-type wave packet as a solution of the Schr o¨dinger equation for the Caldirola–Kanai oscillator driven by a sinusoidal force. For this tim.-dependent system. quantum.properties are studied by using the invariant theory of Lewis and Riesenfeld. In particular,we analyze tim. behaviors of quantum.expectation values of position and m.m.ntum.variables and com.are them.to those of the counterpart classical ones. Based on this, we check whether the Ehrenfest theorem.which was originally developed in static quantum.system. can be extended to such tim.-varying system. without problem..

The one dim.nsional Schrodinger equation associated with a tim.-dependent m.rse potentials is studied. We use the invariant operator m.thod (Lewis and Riesenfeld) to obtain approxim.te solution of the Schrodinger equation in term. of solution of second order ordinary differential equation describes the am.litude of the m.rse potentials.
