Propionic acid m.dified bagasse was used for the rem.val of reactive yellow 2 and reactive blue 4. The effects of pH, contact tim., initial dye concentrations, adsorbent particle size and adsorbent dose on the adsorption of the two dyes were investigated. Additionally, the desorption process and intra-particle diffusion were studied. Acidic pH values were favorable for adsorption of both dyes. The equilibrium.adsorption data were best fitted with the Freundlich isotherm.for reactive yellow 2 and the Langm.ur isotherm.for reactive blue 4. The values of their corresponding constants were determ.ned. The kinetic for dye adsorption is well described by a pseudo-first order kinetic m.del for the reactive yellow 2 and by pseudo-second order for the reactive blue 4. The investigation revealed that the hydroxyl groups of bagasse and the carboxylic group of propionic acid play a great role in the rem.val of both reactive dyes.

Developing a biom.terial for wound healing applications is still a ***,dysprosium.oxide(Dy_(2)O_(3)),alum.num.oxide(Al_(2)O_(3)),and graphene oxide(GO)were em.edded in cast film. based on polycaprolactone(PCL)to be exam.ned for wound dressing *** techniques were used to characterize the fabricated film. including X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),Ram.n,and scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm.,besides their biological *** therm.gravim.tric analysis(TGA)exhibits high therm.l stability as the scaffold weight decreases slightly to 98.6%after raising the tem.erature from.room.tem.erature to 280℃.The cell viability was investigated and it is shown that the viable cells grow up to approxim.tely 93%at 75μg/***,the cell attachm.nt shows excellent behavior as the cells attach on m.st of the surface of the m.dified PCL which shows high biocom.atibility.

The Zeit sand reservoir is one of the m.st prolific form.tions at Northwestern side of the Gulf of Suez. In this research we will try to coordinate between electrical， petrophysical properties， depositional environm.nt and facies discrim.nation in order to evaluate the hydrocarbon potentiality of studied Zeit form.tion. The statistical param.ters for potassium.(K)， thorium.(Th) and Th/U ratio contents have a general increase towards northwestern parts， whereas uranium.(U) content has a general increase towards southeastern parts. The sandstone facies is distinguished from.the other facies by its thorium.content >4 ppm. U has high carbonate content (U ≥1 ppm.. Rocks’ electrical properties vary greatly depending on a num.er of factors. electrical m.asurem.nts were taken at frequencies range of (5×10-4Hz–100 kHz) for fully saturated sam.les (clayey sandstone) with NaCl (20 gm.Littre). As salinity， clay content， and frequency increase， consequently does the electrical properties. The continental condition are present in northwestern part (back-sea) which is distinguished by high K percent， high Th， high Th/U ratio， and low U contents. Low K， Th， and Th/U ratio contents， with high U contents， characterize the m.rine depositional environm.nt that existed around the east and southeastern parts (fore-sea coincide with the dipping of strata). Furtherm.re， the studied Zeit Form.tion has good petrophysical properties that coincide with m.rine conditions. The m.ddle and eastern parts (around ISS-94 and CSS-288) is a good reservoir (porosity 36%–39%， shale content <15%， hydrocarbon saturation 71%–92%， and net pay thickness 17–63 feet).

m.ringa oleifera is well known as a highly nutritious plant and a water purifier in fish *** fish has m.ny im.ressive qualities m.king them.very suitable for ***,this study aim.d to evaluate the effect of supplem.ntation of m.ringa oleifera aqueous extract(m.AE)at varying concentrations(0,100,200,and 400 m./kg diet for 90 days)on growth perform.nce,hem.tological,and som. biochem.cal param.ters of Nile ***,histological changes and im.unohistochem.cal expression of caspase 3 in gills and livers were *** enhancem.nts(Pells,hem.globin,packed cell volum.,white blood cells,and total serum.protein were observed in fish fed 200 m. m.AE/kg diet com.ared with other ***,a significant reduction(Pm. m.AE/kg diet revealed disturbance in the corresponding *** histological degenerative changes were detected in the gills and liver of fish fed 400 m. m.AE/kg *** com.arison,fish fed 200 m. m.AE/kg diet showed the best histo-architectures of these organs com.ared with other *** im.une expressions of caspase 3 were determ.ned where gills and liver of fish fed 400 m. m.AE/kg diet revealed extensive num.er of positive caspase 3 cells indicating severe apoptotic ***,a dietary m.AE at 200 m./kg diet is recom.ended to im.rove the growth perform.nce,hem.tological param.ters,liver and kidney functions in Nile ***,caution m.st be considered when using m.AE at a concentration over 200 m./kg diet.

Globally,groundwater has globally em.rged as a crucial freshwater source for dom.stic,irrigation,and industrial *** evaluation of groundwater quality in the Toshka region is im.erative to ensure its suitability for the extensive agricultural and industrial activities underway in this prom.sing,groundwater-dependent developm.nt *** is particularly significant as Egypt increasingly relies on groundwater reserves to address freshwater deficits and to im.lem.nt m.ga-developm.nt projects in barren *** this study,fifty-two sam.les were collected from.the recently drilled wells tapping into the Nubian Sandstone Aquifer(NSA)in the Toshka *** quality was assessed through hydrochem.cal analysis,Piper diagram.and various indicators such as Na%,SAR,RSC,KR,m. and *** hydrochem.cal analysis revealed im.roved groundwater quality characteristics,attributed to continuous recharge from.Lake *** Piper diagram.categorised m.st of the water sam.les as"secondary salinity"water *** all wells proved suitable for irrigation with only two wells unsuitable based on m. values and six wells based on KR *** Total Hardness(TH)values,all sam.les were classified as"Soft",indicating their suitability for dom.stic and industrial *** Quality Index(WQI)results concluded that all sam.les m.t WHO and FAO guidelines for drinking and irrigation,*** distribution m.ps,constructed using GIS,facilitate the interpretation of the *** m.nitoring of quality param.ters is essential to detect any deviation from.perm.ssible lim.ts.

Radiom.tric m.asurem.nts were carried out for the beach sands from.East Rosetta estuary to determ.ne the activity concentrations of 238 U, 226 Ra, 232 Th, and 40 K, using a Hyper Pure Germ.nium.spectrom.ter, to estim.te the dose rates and radiation hazard indices. The average specific activities are 778.20 Bq/kg for 238 U; 646.89 Bq/kg for 226 Ra; 621.92 and 627.85 Bq/kg for the 222 Rn daughters 214 Pb and 214 Bi respectively. The average specific activity of 232 Th is 1510.25 Bq/kg, while the calculated specific activity for 40 K has an average of 8.41 Bq/kg. The average specific activity of 235 U is 38.61 Bq/kg. The average absorbed dose rate is 1211.36 nGy/h, 20 tim.s higher than the estim.ted average global prim.rdial radiation of 60 nGy/h and 6 tim.s higher than that of the world range (10-200 nGy/h). The radium.equivalent (Ra eq ) values are from.6 to 9 tim.s the recom.ended value. The internal and external hazard indices (H int , H ex ) indicate that their values are from.6 to 11 tim.s the perm.ssible values of these indices. These higher values m.y be due to the presence of econom.c heavy m.nerals containing radionuclides as zircon and m.nazite as well as som. trace m.nerals, thorite and uranothorite. The m.neralogical study indicates the beach sands contain heavy m.nerals, zircon, m.nazite, rutile, ilm.nite, leucoxene, m.gnetite and garnet. The average abundance of zircon is 0.175 wt% ranging from.0.125 wt% to 0.239 wt%, while it is 0.004wt% ranging from.0.001 wt% to 0.007 wt% for m.nazite. The average abundance is 0.087 wt% for rutile; 2.029 wt% for ilm.nite; 1.084 wt% for m.gnetite; 0.384 wt% for leucoxene and 0.295 wt% for garnet.

The current study was perform.d to evaluate the liver function status as well as m.lecular characterization of the recovered worm. in rats experim.ntally infected with F. hepatica. Sixteen m.le Wister rats aged 30 days were random.y allocated into two groups (n = 8). The first group was infected orally with 15 viable encysted m.tacercaria of F. hepatica per anim.l. The other group was kept non-infected (control group). At zero tim. (before infection), the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th and 14th weeks post-infection (WPI), blood and serum.sam.les were collected via puncture of retro-orbital plexus of veins from.each rat. Serum.enzym. level (AST and ALT) and total protein were m.asured, and the serum.protein profile was carried out using agarose gel electrophoresis. During the period of the experim.nt, serum.ALT and AST activities and serum.total globulins significantly increased while serum.total proteins and album.n m.rkedly decreased in the infected group. On the 14th WPI, the data of the electropherogram.showed that globulin fractions (α1-, β- and γ-globulin) levels were significantly increased while α2-globulin was m.rkedly decreased in the infected group. The m.lecular analysis confirm.d the am.lification of the ITS1, ITS2 and NDI genes of F. hepatica recovered from.the infected liver of rats with am.licon sizes of 630, 510 and 560 bp, respectively. Sequencing of the am.lified ITS gene resulted in the determ.nation of 3 strains (PP108836, PP108837, and PP108838). Also, analysis of the ITS2 gene resulted in obtaining 3 isolates under the accession num.ers (PP109065, PP109066, and PP109067). In conclusion, fasciolosis in the rat m.del is suitable for routine experim.ntal infections and caused a pronounced liver dysfunction with discharging of the Fasciola eggs in the faeces and the developm.nt of adult stages in the bile ducts.
