This pa.er reviews the va.ious control a.gorithm. a.d stra.egies used for fixed-wing m.rphing a.rcra.t a.plica.ions. It is evident from.the litera.ure tha. the developm.nt of control a.gorithm. for m.rphing a.rcra.t technologies focused on three m.in a.ea.. The first a.ea.is rela.ed to precise control of the sha.e of m.rphing concepts for va.ious flight conditions. The second a.ea.is m.inly rela.ed to the flight dyna.0}cs, sta.ility, a.d control a.pects of m.rphing a.rcra.t. The third a.ea.dea.s m.inly with a.roela.tic control using m.rphing concepts either for loa. a.levia.ion purposes a.d/or to control the insta.ility bounda.ies. The design of controllers for m.rphing a.rcra.t/wings is very cha.lenging due to the la.ge cha.ges tha. ca. occur in the structura., a.rodyna.0}c, a.d inertia. cha.a.teristics. In a.dition, the type of a.tua.ion system.a.d a.tua.ion ra.e/speed ca. ha.e a.significa.t effect on the design of such controllers. The a.rospa.e com.unity is in strong need of such a.critica. review especia.ly a. m.rphing a.rcra.t technologies m.ve from.funda.0}nta. resea.ch a. a.low Technology Rea.iness Level(TRL) to rea.-life a.plica.ions. This critica. review a.m. to identify resea.ch ga.s a.d propose future directions. In this pa.er, resea.ch a.tivities/pa.ers a.e ca.egorized a.cording to the control stra.egy used. The sa.dstones of the La.e m.ocene–Pliocene Dibdibba.Form.tion in the Na.a.–Ka.ba.a.Pla.ea. a.d Ba.ra.were exa.0}ned to determ.ne their source rocks a.d origin. The ra.e ea.th elem.nts(REE) a.d tra.e elem.nts(sc, Co, V, a.d Th) concentra.ions in these sa.dstones revea.ed tha. they likely derived from.a.single source. The steep light ra.e ea.th elem.nts(LREE) a.d fla., hea.y ra.e ea.th elem.nt(HREE) pa.terns, nega.ive Eu a.om.ly, a.d high ΣREE contents in sa.dstones suggest its deriva.ion from.a.suggests tha. a.pa.sive continenta. m.rgin environm.nt a.d origina.ed from.felsic source rocks. The a.era.e concentra.ion of ΣREE is 93.5 ppm. which is lower tha. tha. of the a.era.e crusta. com.ositions like Upper Continenta. Crust a.d Post a.chea. a.stra.ia. sha.e. The higher proportion of LREE com.a.ed to HREE im.lies tha. these sa.dstones were recycled a.d derived from.a.dista. source. The Th/Co, Th/sc, La.sc, La.Co, Eu/Eu*a.d(La.Lu)cn elem.nta. ra.ios indica.ed tha. these La.e m.ocene–Pliocene sa.dstones were derived from.felsic rocks loca.ed in the m.rgina. region of the a.a.ia. shield.
