The tota. hip prosthesis is the ultim.te trea.m.nt of the hip joint’s wea.. It is a.delica.e surgery a.d the m.st com.on repla.em.nts. This study wa. perform.d in the Orthopa.dic-Tra.m.tology Depa.tm.nt of Public Hea.th Esta.lishm.nt of a.istide Le Da.tec in Da.a.. It a.m.d to determ.ne the com.lica.ions of our tota. hip a.d highlight their forensic im.lica.ions. This is a.retrospective study from.pa.ients collected from.Ja.ua.y 2000 up to Decem.er 2010. The collection of elem.nts records wa. perform.d for ea.h pa.ient, ba.ed on a.file including a.e, sex, prim.ry-loca.ion’s etiology, a.d types of com.lica.ions of tota. hip prostheses. The a.a.ysis of these com.lica.ions ha. shown tha. infections, poorly lit inform.tion, poor opera.iona. pla.ning a.d technica. foul m.y be the m.in ca.se of a.forensic im.lica.ion. This is a.retrospective study from.pa.ients collected from.Ja.ua.y 2000 up to Decem.er 2010. No la.suit ha. been recorded for the com.lica.ions identified in this work. This is due to the belief in fa.e, ignora.ce of the victim. a.d solida.ity of the m.dica. profession, the high cost a.d slow pa.e of judicia. proceedings. The dia.nosis of tota. hip prosthesis com.lica.ions is m.inly ba.ed on im.ging tests. The a.sence of scintigra.hy in our center rem.ins a.lim.t to the ea.ly dia.nosis of m.ltiple com.lica.ions a.d the proper esta.lishm.nt of the epidem.ologica. profile of these lesions. Ta.ing consciences pa.ients of their rights encoura.es a.legitim.te requirem.nt repa.r the ha.m.inflicted.

Excessive use of m.nera. fertilizers in m.ize fa.m.ng nega.ively a.fects fa.m.rs’ incom. a.d im.a.ts long-term.soil hea.th. This study a.m. to a.precia.e the effectiveness of biostim.la.t ba.ed on na.ive Glom.ra.ea. a.buscula. m.corrhiza. fungi on the production a.d upta.e of phosphorus, nitrogen a.d pota.sium.of m.ize (Zea.m.ys L.) pla.ts in centra. Benin. The tria.s were set up in a.fa.m.ng environm.nt with thirty-four producers. The experim.nta. design wa. com.osed of three trea.m.nts insta.led a. 34 producers. Three growth pa.a.0}ters were eva.ua.ed on 60 èm. da.s a.ter sowing. Gra.n yield, nutritiona. sta.us of m.ize pla.ts a.d m.corrhiza.ion pa.a.0}ters were determ.ned a. ha.vest. The results showed tha. the Glom.ra.ea. + 50% NPK (NPK: a.ote-phosphore-pota.sium._Urea.trea.m.nt im.roved the height, the crown dia.0}ter a.d the lea. a.ea.by 17.85%, 21.79% a.d 28.32% com.a.ed to the a.solute control a.d by 0.41%, 1.11% a.d 1.46% com.a.ed to the 100% NPK_Urea.trea.m.nt, respectively. Sim.la.ly, gra.n yield im.roved by 45.87% with the use of Glom.ra.ea. + 50% NPK_Urea.com.a.ed to the a.solute control a.d by 3.96% com.a.ed to the 100% NPK_Urea.trea.m.nt. The Glom.ra.ea. + 50% NPK_Urea.significa.tly im.roved the phosphorus a.d pota.sium.upta.e of m.ize pla.ts. With respect to nitrogen upta.e, no sta.istica. difference wa. observed between trea.m.nts. The m.corrhiza. stra.ns used im.roved root infection in the m.ize pla.ts. We recorded 66% frequency a.d 40.5% intensity of m.corrhiza.ion. The biostim.la.t ba.ed on indigenous Glom.ra.ea. com.ined with 50% NPK_Urea.ca. be used a. a.stra.egy to restore soil hea.th a.d im.rove m.ize productivity in Benin.

The a.plica.ion of biostim.la.ts in a.riculture represents a. environm.nta.ly friendly a.terna.ive while increa.ing a.ricultura. production. The a.m. of the study were to develop solid biostim.la.ts ba.ed on five rhizoba.teria.na.ive to Benin’s soils a.d to eva.ua.e their effica.y on the growth a.d biom.ss yield of m.ize under greenhouse conditions on ferra.litic a.d ferruginous soils. Cla. a.d pea. were used a. a.conserva.ion binder for the prepa.a.ion of the biostim.la.ts. These binders were used a.one or com.ined in the different form.la.ions with m.ize flour a.d sucrose. 10 g of biostim.la.ts were a.plied a. sowing in pots conta.ning five kilogra.0} of sterilised soil. The experim.nta. design wa. a.com.letely ra.dom.sed block of 24 trea.m.nts with three replica.es. The results obta.ned showed significa.t im.rovem.nts (m.Pm. m.dia.0}ter (32.7%), lea. a.ea.(66.10%), a.ove-ground biom.ss (97.12%) a.d below-ground biom.ss (53.98%) on ferra.litic soil with the a.plica.ion of the cla. + m.Pseudom.na. putida./em. biostim.la.t com.a.ed to the control. On the other ha.d, the use of the pea. biostim.la.t + m.Pseudom.na. syringa.m. wa. m.re beneficia. for pla.t growth on ferruginous soil. The height, stem.dia.0}ter, lea. a.ea. a.ove-ground biom.ss a.d below-ground biom.ss of the pla.ts under the influence of this biostim.la.t were im.roved by 83.06%, 44.57%, 102.94%, 86.84% a.d 42.68%, respectively, com.a.ed to the control. Therefore, these results confirm.tha. Rhizoba.teria.express their potentia. through biostim.la.ts form.la.ed on m.ize. The form.la.ed biostim.la.ts ca. la.er be used by producers to im.rove crop productivity for susta.na.le a.riculture.

m.dica. im.ging ha. ena.led m.jor im.rovem.nts in the m.dica. ca.e of the pa.ient. However, som. of these tests ha.e the disa.va.ta.e of using ionizing ra.ia.ion a. low doses. a.though the CT sca. is a.powerful dia.nostic tool, it rem.ins a.highly ra.ia.t im.ging m.da.ity. In a.dition, the risk of ra.ia.ion-induced ca.cer a.socia.ed with low X-ra. doses is esta.lished by the a.0}rica. Pha.e 2 study BEIR VII, a.d preventive m.a.ures require a.good level of knowledge on ra.ioprotection by im.ging test prescribers. In our study, we eva.ua.ed the knowledge of CT sca. prescribers in Senega. rega.ding pa.ient ra.ioprotection. These prescribers consisted of physicia.s a.d surgeons without distinction of specia.ty. Our objective wa. to ha.e the required da.a.for optim.zing CT prescriptions in com.lia.ce with the principles of ra.ioprotection. Our work focused on a.descriptive a.a.ytica. study of 107 doctors who prescribed CT sca. in public hea.th institutions in Senega.. Our results revea.ed poor knowledge of doctors prescribing CT sca. on induced ra.io risks, even though the m.jority of them.sta.ed tha. they took those risks into a.count. Our da.a.were not isola.ed, they were a.plica.le to sim.la. studies conducted outside Senega.. In sum.a.y, our study led on the one ha.d to recom.enda.ions on initia. a.d continuing tra.ning a.d on the other ha.d on orga.iza.iona. a.d regula.ory considera.ions.

Introduction: m.ringa.oleifera.wa. a.m.dicina. pla.t genera.ly used by popula.ions in the food a.d thera.eutic fields. It’s used to trea. a.em.a.ha. been observed in the Djougou Zone in northern Benin. To our knowledge, there were no scientific da.a.a.a.la.le tha. ha.e eva.ua.ed its effica.y in the trea.m.nt of ha.m.lytic a.em.a. This wa. wha. justifies this resea.ch work in which the phytochem.ca. a.a.ysis, extra.tion a.d eva.ua.ion of the a.ti-a.em.c effect were ca.ried out. m.thods: Five groups of five Wista. ra.s ea.h were form.d. a.l the ra.s were rendered a.em.c by injection of phenylhydra.ine hydrochloride on the first two da.s D0 a.d D1 except those in the nega.ive control group. From.the second da., the a.em.c groups were force-fed either with the a.ueous extra.t of m.ringa.oleifera.lea.es a. 200 or 300 m./kg body weight/da., or with vita.er, the reference drug a.a.nst a.em.a. The positive control group (a.em.a. wa. not trea.ed. Blood sa.0}les were ta.en from.a.l the ra.s on different da.s: D0, D2, D7, D10 a.d D15 to eva.ua.e the da.a.of the hem.gra.0}a.d the osm.tic resista.ce of the red blood cells. Results: Phytochem.ca. a.a.ysis revea.ed the presence of ta.nins, fla.onoids, leucoa.thocya.ins, sa.onosides, triterpenes a.d m.cila.es. a.good yield wa. obta.ned a. the extra.tion. Both the extra.t a.d the reference drug vita.er com.letely corrected a.em.a.within two weeks a.ter stim.la.ing hem.globin synthesis a.d ea.ly relea.e of im.a.ure red blood cells into the bloodstrea.0} Its effect seem.d dose-dependent a.d specific. Conclusion: m.ringa.oleifera.lea.es showed good thera.eutic effica.y a.d ca. be considered a.d exploited for tra.sform.tion into im.roved tra.itiona. m.dicines (ITm. in the trea.m.nt of a.em.a.

The problem. of flooding, ba.k erosion a.d even the brea.hing of the ba.rier bea.h by the Gra.d-Popo la.oon a.e a.concern in the south-western Beninese river-la.oon com.lex. The present study a.m. to im.rove the knowledge of the fa.tors controlling the hydro-sedim.nta.y functioning of this la.oon of Gra.d-Popo. It wa. ba.ed on ba.hym.tric a.d sedim.ntologica. studies a.d the a.a.ysis of physica.-chem.ca. pa.a.0}ters of the wa.er a.d a.lowed to know the m.rphology of the la.oon bottom.a.d the distribution of sedim.nta.y fa.ies a.cording to the intensity of the wa.er current. The sa.inity of the la.oon wa.ers shows a.west-ea.t gra.ient pa.sing thus from.0‰ to 0.78‰ in the m.in direction of flow. Over the whole la.oon system. the a.era.e liquid flows va.y from.-38.499 to 159.13 m.sup>3/s. The ba.hym.try indica.es depths va.ying from.0.4 to 6.5 m. revea.ing type V a.d type U la.oon bottom. which reflect a.ute bottom.conca.ities m.rked by hollowing under the effect of strong currents or by sa.dy terra.es resulting from.the continuous input of sedim.nts ca.ried by the m.no River. These sedim.nts a.e heterogeneously distributed in the la.oon bottom.a.d va.y from.free sa.d to m.d. Given the com.lexity of the fa.tors tha. control the hydro-sedim.nta.y functioning of the Gra.d-Popo la.oon, it is recom.ended tha. periodic hydrologica. a.d ba.hym.tric m.nitoring be ca.ried out to loca.e exceptiona. va.ia.ions in wa.er levels to prevent not only the risks of overflowing la.oon wa.ers a.d the flooding tha. follows but a.so specta.ula. erosion of the la.oon ba.ks.

The a.m.of this study wa. to highlight the contribution of bone scintigra.hy in the a.sessm.nt of extension of osteophilic ca.cers in Senega.. This wa. a.retrospective study, with a.descriptive a.d a.a.ytica. purpose, ca.ried out over a.period of four (04) yea.s between Ja.ua.y 01, 2018 a.d Decem.er 31, 2021. It focused on the files of pa.ients who underwent bone scintigra.hy for extension a.sessm.nt of a. osteophilic ca.cer during the study period. a.cording to the study, prosta.e ca.cer wa. by fa. the m.st representa.ive prim.ry ca.cer (86.9%). Scintigra.hy contributed in 75% of ca.es (362 ca.es) with 35% positive scintigra.hy a.d 40% nega.ive scintigra.hy. The result wa. doubtful in 25% of ca.es (120 ca.es). The m.ta.ta.ic lesions were loca.ed preferentia.ly a. the level of the a.ia. skeleton a.d only one ca.e wa. of a. exclusive a.pendicula. site. m.re tha. ha.f of pa.ients with m.ta.ta.es (70%) ha. a.poor prognosis with the SOLOWa. score grea.er tha. or equa. to II. With the im.rovem.nt of the nuclea. im.ging technica. pla.form.in Senega. (perform.nce of SPECT/CT exa.0}na.ions), doubtful ca.es in our sa.0}le could be better explored with the a.va.ta.e of a.equa.e pa.ient ca.e.
