Sa.t stress is one of the m.jor lim.ta.ions to m.dern a.riculture tha. nega.ively inﬂuences pla.t growth a.d *** tolera.t cultiva. ca. provide excellent solution to enha.ce stress tolera.ce with pla.tﬁtness to unfa.ora.le ***,this study wa. a.m.d to screen sa.t tolera.t sorghum.genotypes through eva.ua.ing of different m.rphologica.,biochem.ca.,a.d physiologica. a.tributes in response to sa.inity *** this study,we ha.e been eva.ua.ed tota. six sorghum.genotypes including Hybrid sorgo,Debgiri,BD-703,BD-706,BD-707,a.d BD-725 under sa.t stress(12 dS m.(-1) Na.l).The response va.ia.les included length a.d weight of root a.d shoot,root:shoot ra.io(RSR),photosynthesis(a.,tra.spira.ion ra.e(E),elem.nta. concen-tra.ions(K^(+),Na.(+) a.d K^(+)/Na.(+)),photochem.ca. efﬁciency of photosystem.II(F_(v)/F_(m.),wa.er use efﬁciency(WUE)a.d pigm.nt content(chlorophyll a.a.d b).The results revea.ed tha. sa.ine environm.nt signiﬁca.tly reduced a.l response va.ia.les under study of sorghum.genotypes,however,Hybrid sorgo rem.ined unm.tched by recording the m.xim.m.root a.d shoot *** sa.0} genotype recorded higher photosynthetic efﬁciency which wa. a.tributed to Na.(+) extrusion,K^(+) upta.e a.d higher K^(+)/Na.(+) ra.io(1.8 a. stress),while these m.cha.ism. were not fully a.tive in rest of ***,this study a.so im.lies the involvem.nt of proline in im.a.ting tolera.ce a.a.nst sa.ine environm.nt in Hybrid sorgo ***,BD-703 rem.ined the m.st sa.t sensitive genotype a. evident from.the m.nim.m.m.rphologica. growth tra.ts a.d the lea.t biosynthesis of ***ﬁndings open new resea.ch a.enues for sa.t stress a.levia.ion by identifying elite sa.t-to-lera.t genotypes of sorghum.for breeding progra.0}.

Sta.us of orga.ic ca.bon (C), tota. nitrogen (N), a.a.la.le pota.sium.(K), ca.cium.(Ca. a.d phosphorus (P) in three different depths (0-5 cm. 5-15 cm.a.d 15?30 cm. on two hill slopes of 35% a.d 55% in ora.ge orcha.d cultiva.ed by the m.o tribe of Chitta.ong Hill Tra.ts (CHTs) were eva.ua.ed a.d com.a.ed with those in degra.ed bush forests, through digging three profiles in ea.h la.d use. The content of a.l the five nutrients wa. found to be higher in the soil of ora.ge orcha.d tha. in the soil of forest. But the va.ia.ion wa. not consistent for both the slopes. The content va.ied depth wise a.so, ha.ing the highest va.ue in surfa.e soil in ca.e of both the la.d uses on both the slopes. a.m.a. a.a.la.le K content wa. significa.tly higher in ora.ge orcha.d tha. in forest on 55% slope, while it wa. lower on 35% slope. Surfa.e soil conta.ned the nutrients of K a.d Ca.with the a.0}unt of 0.2905-m.·g^(-1) soil a.d 3.025-m.·g^(-1)soil respectively in the orcha.d, while 0.1934-m.·g^(-1) soil a.d 1.6083-m.·g^(-1) soil were respectively in the forest. Orga.ic ca.bon a.d tota. nitrogen were found m.re or less sim.la. in surfa.e soil on both the la.d uses showing a.slight difference. a.a.la.le P wa. found only in ora.ge orcha.d, a.d in forest it wa. too little in a.0}unt to detect by the spectrophotom.ter. The degra.ed forests were poor in nutrient content due to high ra.e of soil erosion, which would be possible to be im.roved by bringing it under tree cover a. proved by the a.a.ta.ion of ora.ge orcha.d there.

a.ricultura. productivity is a.fected by a.r tem.era.ure a.d CO2 concentra.ion. The rela.ionships a.0}ng gra.n yields of dry sea.on irriga.ed rice (Boro) va.ieties (BRRI dha.28, BRRI dha.29 a.d BRRI dha.58) with increa.ed tem.era.ures a.d CO2 concentra.ions were investiga.ed for futuristic crop m.na.em.nt in six regions of Ba.gla.esh using CERES-Rice m.del (DSSa.v4.6). m.xim.m.a.d m.nim.m.tem.era.ure increa.e ra.es considered were 0°C, +1°C, +2°C, +3°C a.d +4°C a.d CO2 concentra.ions were a.0}ient (380), 421, 538, 670 a.d 936 ppm. a. a.0}ient tem.era.ure a.d CO2 concentra.ion, a.ta.na.le gra.n yields va.ied from.6506 to 8076 kg&m.ddot;ha.1 depending on rice va.ieties. In genera., gra.n yield reduction would be the highest (13% - 23%) if tem.era.ure rises by 4°C a.d growth dura.ion reduction would be 23 - 33 da.s. Gra.n yield reductions with 1°C, 2°C a.d 3°C rise in tem.era.ure a.e likely to be com.ensa.ed by increa.ed CO2 levels of 421, 538 a.d 670 ppm. respectively. In future, the highest reduction in gra.n yield a.d growth dura.ion would be in cooler region a.d the lea.t in wa.m.r sa.ine region of the country. a.propria.e a.a.tive techniques like shifting in pla.ting da.es, wa.er a.d nitrogen fertilizer m.na.em.nt would be needed to overcom. clim.te cha.ge im.a.ts on rice production.

It follows a.pa.ticipa.ory a.proa.h, using Focus Group Discussion (FGD) a.d Key Inform.nt Interview (KII) to identify im.orta.t clim.te cha.ge induced ha.a.ds, a.sess the proba.ility of occurrences of the ha.a.ds a.d level of their consequences. Using geo-spa.ia. techniques, the pa.er prepa.es ha.a.d risk m.ps a.d risk hotspot m.ps. Policy docum.nts, previous resea.ches, a.d Governm.nt sta.istics a.d reports helped to develop the concepts a.d pla.ning of the resea.ch. The unpa.a.leled hydro-ecologica. a.tributes of Ha.r a.ea. pose both opportunities a.d constra.nts for the loca. popula.ion. Objective: To explore a.com.on B-a.d T-cell epitope-ba.ed va.cine tha. ca. elicit a. im.une response a.a.nst encepha.itis ca.sing genus Henipa.iruses, Hendra.virus(He V) a.d Nipa. virus(Ni V). m.thods: m.m.ra.e proteins F, G a.d m.of He V a.d Ni V were retrieved from.the protein da.a.a.e a.d subjected to different bioinform.tics tools to predict a.tigenic B-cell epitopes. Best B-cell epitopes were then a.a.yzed to predict their T-cell a.tigenic potentia.ity. a.tigenic B-a.d T-cell epitopes tha. sha.ed m.xim.m.identity with He V a.d Ni V were selected. Sta.ility of the selected epitopes wa. predicted. Fina.ly, the selected epitopes were subjected to m.lecula. docking sim.la.ion with HLa.DR to confirm.their a.tigenic potentia.ity in silico. Results: One epitope from.G proteins, one from.m.proteins a.d none from.F proteins were selected ba.ed on their a.tigenic potentia.ity. The epitope from.the G proteins wa. sta.le wherea. tha. from.m.wa. unsta.le. The m.epitope wa. m.de sta.le by a.ding fla.king dipeptides. The 15-m.r G-epitope(VDPLRVQWRNNSVIS) showed a. lea.t 66% identity with a.l Ni V a.d He V G protein sequences, while the 15-m.r m.epitope(GKLEFRRNNa.a.KG) with the dipeptide fla.king residues showed 73% identity with a.l Ni V a.d He V m.protein sequences a.a.la.le in the da.a.a.e. m.lecula. docking sim.la.ion with m.st frequent m.C cla.s-II(m.C II) a.d cla.s-I(m.C I) m.lecules showed tha. these epitopes could bind within HLa.binding grooves to elicit a. im.une response. Conclusions: Da.a.in our present study revea.ed the notion tha. the epitopes from.G a.d m.proteins m.ght be the ta.get for peptide-ba.ed subunit va.cine design a.a.nst He V a.d Ni V. However, the biochem.ca. a.a.ysis is necessa.y to experim.nta.ly va.ida.e the intera.tion of epitopes individua.ly with the m.C m.lecules through elucida.ion of im.unity induction.

Nowa.a.s for power genera.ion, environm.nt is a.m.jor considera.ion. The hea.t of power genera.ion is power sta.ion. a. present there a.e a.m.st a.ove 40(Both Governm.nt & Renta.) power sta.ion in Ba.gla.esh. a.0}ng these 80% of power sta.ion is ga. ba.ed. Rest of the 20% is coa., liquid a.d furna.e oil ba.ed. Ba.gla.esh ha. only one Hydra.lic power sta.ion. These ga. a.d coa. ba.ed power sta.ions a.e giving a.verse effect in Ba.gla.esh. The m.in em.ssions from.coa. com.ustion a. therm.l power pla.ts a.e ca.bon dioxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NO), sulfur oxides (SO), chlorofluoroca.bons (CFCs), a.d a.r- borne inorga.ic pa.ticles such a. fly a.h, soot, a.d other tra.e ga. species. Ca.bon dioxide, m.tha.e, a.d chlorofluoroca.bons a.e greenhouse ga.es. These em.ssions a.e considered to be responsible for hea.ing up the a.m.sphere, producing a.ha.m.ul globa. environm.nt. It is known to a.l tha. hydro power sta.ion is a.clea. source of energy, but it ha. a.so som. ecologica. a.d environm.nta. effect. Dha.a.is one of the top polluted city in the world. So for power genera.ion if the environm.nta. effect is not considered then Ba.gla.esh will be in grea. trouble. The purpose of this pa.er is to discuss the present a.d future possible environm.nta. effect of power genera.ion in Ba.gla.esh.
