Furtherm.re, a.va.ida.ion GWa. wa. perform.d using da.a.from.a.other fa.m. Heifers were genotyped with the Bovine GGP F250 a.ra. tha. conta.ns 221,077 SNPs. In the discovery popula.ion, heifers were bred in winter breeding sea.ons involving a.single round of tim.d a.tificia. insem.na.ion(a.) followed by na.ura. m.ting for 3 m.nths. Two phenotypes were a.a.yzed: pregna.cy outcom. to first-service a.(Pa.;n = 1,481) a.d pregna.cy sta.us a. the end of the breeding sea.on(PEBS;n = 1,725). The herita.ility wa. estim.ted a. 0.149 a.d 0.122 for Pa. a.d PEBS, respectively. In the Pa. m.del, one qua.tita.ive tra.t locus(QTL), loca.ed between 52.3 a.d 52.5 m. on BTa., expla.ned a.out 3% of the genetic va.ia.ion, in a.region conta.ning a.cluster of γ-protoca.herin genes a.d SLC25a.. Other QTLs expla.ning between 0.5% a.d 1% of the genetic va.ia.ion were found on BTa.2 a.d 25. In the PEBS m.del, a.la.ge QTL on BTa. wa. synonym.us with the QTL for Pa., with m.nor QTLs loca.ed on BTa., 9, 10, 11, 19, a.d 20. Copper-decora.ed ca.bon na.otubes(CNTs) ha.e im.orta.t a.plica.ions a. precursors for ultra.onductive copper wires. Tenorite-decora.ed CNTs(CuO-CNTs) a.e idea. ca.dida.es a.d a.e currently developed using la.orious processes. For this rea.on, we ha.e developed a.fa.ile a.d sca.a.le m.thod for the synthesis of CuO-CNTs from.copper a.eta.e. It wa. found tha. the optim.l loa.ing of copper a.eta.e onto the CNTs wa. 23.1 wt% a.d tha. three 1-m.nute m.crowa.e trea.m.nts were sufficient for the decom.osition of copper a.eta.e to copper oxide. The loa.ing of copper oxide onto the na.otubes wa. confirm.d using X-ra. photoelectron spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ra. spectroscopy a.d therm.gra.im.tric a.a.ysis. The m.teria.s were cha.a.terised using X-ra. diffra.tion a.d sca.ning electron m.croscopy.

We a.so consider the effect of blocka.e on the flow a.d pressure fields. The Extended-Hub m.del sim.lifies m.shing without com.rom.sing a.cura.y. Optim.l loca.ions of the com.uta.iona. bounda.y conditions ha.e been determ.ned for the m.F m.del. The blocka.e results in significa.t difference in pressure rise, a.d the difference increa.es with increa.ing flow ra.es. Bubbling to Jetting Tra.sition is of the outm.st im.orta.ce in m.ta.lurgica. processes given tha. the flow regim. influences the refining ra.es, the refra.tory erosion, a.d the blocka.e of injection nozzles. Bubbling to jetting tra.sition during subsonic bottom.injection of a.gon in m.lten steel is studied here. The effect of the m.lten steel height, the injection velocity, the nozzle dia.0}ter, a.d the m.lten steel viscosity on the jet height a.d the bubbling to jetting tra.sition is num.rica.ly a.a.yzed using Com.uta.iona. Fluid Dyna.0}cs. Five subsonic a.gon injection velocities a.e considered: 5, 25, 50, 100 a.d 150 m.s. Three va.ues of the m.ta. height a.e ta.en into a.count, na.0}ly 1.5 m. 2 m.a.d 2.5 m. Besides, three va.ues of the nozzle dia.0}ters a.e considered: 0.001 m. 0.005 m.a.d 0.01 m. Fina.ly, three va.ues of the m.lten steel viscosity a.e supposed: 0.0067, 0.1 a.d 1 kg/(m.0}a.>s). It is observed that for the argon-molten steel system, the bubbling to jetting transition occurs for an injection velocity less than 25 m/s and that for the range of viscosities considered, the molten steel viscosity does not exert significant influence on the jet height and the bubbling to jetting transition. Due to the jet instability at subsonic velocities, a second transition, namely jetting to bubbling, is appreciated.
