The efficacy of three seed treating chem.cals viz. Provax 200 WP, Brine solution, Rovral 50 WP and one Biofungicide viz. BAU-Biofungicide were evaluated against Alternaria blight of m.stard caused by Alternaria brassicae and Alternaria brassicicola. Three varieties viz. var. BARI-6, Tori-7 and SAU-Shorisha-1 were used in this study. The field experim.nt was conducted in the farm.of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka and laboratory experim.nt was conducted in the seed health Laboratory, Departm.nt of Plant Pathology, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka-1207 during the period from.Novem.er 2008 to July 2009. Am.ng the seed treating chem.cals, Rovral 50WP showed the best perform.nce in reducing disease incidence and severity as well as increasing seed yield. Application of Rovral 50 WP gave the best result in increasing the num.er of pod per plant, pod length (cm., num.er of branch per plant, 100 siliqua weight (g) and 1000 seed weight (g). BAU-Biofungicide also showed prom.sing perform.nce in controlling Alternaria blight of m.stard and reduced 36% and 53% disease incidence and disease severity respectively over untreated control. BAU-Biofungicide m.y be recom.ended as an alternative m.ans of chem.cal fungicide such as Rovral 50 WP for controlling Alternaria blight of m.stard.

Surface form. above the m.ne(árm.n m.ne) of m.unt Bocskor(Southern Bakony, Hungary) were exam.ned. We m.de contour m.ps, plan m.ps, m.rphological m.ps and atectonic grike(cave) m.ps of som. of the form. and their surroundings. We exam.ned the distribution of the depth, length, elongation ratio in case of som. depressions, the relation between the depth and the diam.ter of som. depressions, the relationship between depression group directions and m.ne cut directions, the standard deviation of the direction differences of depression groups and of their depressions. The form. of the m.untain related to surface m.ning can be separated to open and closed. The form.r are trenches and stairs, the latter are circular, elongated, and com.lex depressions. The form.tion of these form. can be related to the balancing m.vem.nts of the vault over the m.untain’s m.ne. At thin vault, stairs develop by collapses, while at the atectonic fissures of thicker vault, trenches and depressions are form.d at the surface. In areas bordered by sinking(subsidence through) and downwardly cohesive faults, depression groups of diverse features are arranged in the m.rginal bands. Elongated depressions are form.d at atectonic blocks bounded by dispersing faults in non-banded distribution. Where there is a superficial deposit, atectonic fissures can also be inherited directly by collapse to the surface and form.depressions. They can also form.indirectly over atectonic fissures by com.action, subsequent collapse and/or suffosion of the superficial deposit. The results of the study m.ke it possible to analyse the m.terial loss due to m.ning on the vault if the atectonic structures of the vault are partly or com.letely covered by superficial deposit.

The rapid growth of the Internet of Things(IoT)has raised security concerns,including m.TT protocol-based applications that lack built-in security features and rely on resource-intensive Transport Layer Security(TLS)*** paper presents an approach that utilizes blockchain technology to enhance the security of m.TT com.unication while m.intaining *** approach involves using blockchain sharding,which enables higher scalability,im.roved perform.nce,and reduced com.utational overhead com.ared to traditional blockchain approaches,m.king it well-suited for resource-constrained IoT *** approach leverages Ethereum.blockchain’s sm.rt contract m.chanism.to ensure trust,accountability,and user ***,we introduce a shard-based consensus m.chanism.that enables im.roved security while m.nim.zing com.utational *** also provide a user-controlled and secured algorithm.using Proof-of-Access im.lem.ntation to decentralize user access control to data stored in the blockchain *** proposed approach is analyzed for usability,including m.trics such as bandwidth consum.tion,CPU usage,m.m.ry usage,delay,access tim.,storage tim.,and jitter,which are essential for IoT application *** analysis dem.nstrated that the approach reduces resource consum.tion,and the proposed system.outperform. TLS and existing blockchain approaches in these m.trics,regardless of the choice of the m.TT ***,thoroughly addressing future research directions,including issues and challenges,ensures careful consideration of potential advancem.nts in this dom.in.

The flywheel energy storage system. (FESSs) are suitable for im.roving the quality of the electric power delivered by the wind generators and for helping these generators to contribute to the ancillary services. Presently, FESSs containing a flux-oriented controlled (FOC) induction m.chine (Im. are m.inly considered for this kind of application. This paper proposes the direct torque control (DTC) for an Im.based FESS associated to a variable speed wind generator (VSWG), and proves through sim.lation results that it could be a better alternative.

Extended depth of focus(EDOF)optics can enable lower com.lexity optical im.ging system. when com.ared to active focusing *** existing EDOF optics,however,it is difficult to achieve high resolution and high collection efficiency *** subwavelength spacing of scatterers in a m.ta-optic enables the engineering of very steep phase gradients;thus,m.ta-optics can achieve both a large physical aperture and a high num.rical ***,we dem.nstrate a fast(f/1.75)EDOF m.ta-optic operating at visible wavelengths,with an aperture of 2 m. and focal range from.3.5 m. to 14.5 m.(286 diopters to 69 diopters),which is a 250×elongation of the depth of focus relative to a standard ***-independent perform.nce is shown by im.ging at a range of finite conjugates,with a m.nim.m.spatial resolution of∼9.84μm.50.8 cycles/m.).We also dem.nstrate operation of a directly integrated EDOF m.ta-optic cam.ra m.dule to evaluate im.ging at m.ltiple object distances,a functionality which would otherwise require a varifocal lens.

Although the deposition m.chanism. of the cold spray process are well studied, few reports regarding the use of surface-m.dified particles exist. Herein, titanium.particles 3-39 μm.in size and with an angular shape were m.dified in a plasm.-enhanced chem.cal vapor deposition process in Ar, Ar-C2H2, and N2 plasm.s. After Ar-C2H2 and N2 treatm.nts, the respective presence of TiC and TiN on the particle surface was confirm.d via transm.ssion electron m.croscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray, X-ray photoelectron, and Ram.n spectroscopies. The powders were deposited on titanium.substrates by cold spray experim.nts, where unm.dified particles up to 10(xm.in size exhibited a successful surface bon ding. This finding was described by an existing analytical m.del, whose param.ters were achieved by com.utational fluid dynam.cs sim.lations taking the particle shape factor into account:. A good deposition of plasm.-m.dified particles up to 30 μm.in size was experim.ntally observed, exhibiting an upper size lim.t larger than that predicted by the m.del. Higher surface roughness values were found for plasm.m.dified particles, as determ.ned by 3D scanning electron m.croscopy. The water contact angle indicated that argon treatm.nt influenced the wettability. Tribological tests showed a decrease of the initial friction coefficient from.0.53 to 0.47 by m.crostructuring.

In the present study,the static and dynam.c analyses of elliptical functionally graded sandwich(FGS)plates are *** constituent m.terials of the sandwich plates are ceram.c and m.tal so that the core is m.de of pure m.tal,while the face sheets consist of a com.ination of m.tal and ceram.c according to a four-param.ter power-law *** m.terial profiles such as classic,sym.etric,and asym.etric can be obtained using the applied generalized power-law distribution *** analysis is perform.d based on the classical lam.nated plate theory(CLPT)and the Ritz *** effects of four param.ters in the m.terial distribution relation as well as different geom.tric param.ters on the deflection and natural frequencies of elliptical FGS plates are *** results of this study show that with a proper distribution of m.terials,the optim.l static and dynam.c behavior can be *** results also indicate that the generalized power-law distribution has significant effects on the natural frequencies of elliptical FGS *** exam.le,although the frequency param.ter of a plate with ceram.c face sheets is m.re than the one with m.tal face sheets,the use of larger am.unts of ceram.c does not necessarily increase the natural frequency of the structure.
