The im.une system.protects organism. against endogenous and exogenous harm.and plays a key role in tissue developm.nt,repair and *** im.unom.dulatory biologics exhibit lim.tations including degradation by enzym.s,short half-life and lack of targeting *** or binding these biologics within biom.terials is an effective way to address these *** are prom.sing im.unom.dulatory m.terials because of their prom.nent biocom.atibility,tuneability and ***,to take advantage of these opportunities and optim.ze m.terial perform.nce,it is im.ortant to m.re specifically elucidate,and leverage on,how hydrogels affect and control the im.une ***,we sum.arize how key physical and chem.cal properties of hydrogels affect the im.une *** first provide an overview of underlying steps of the host im.une response upon exposure to ***,we discuss recent advances in im.unom.dulatory strategies where hydrogels play a key role through(i)physical properties including dim.nsionality,stiffness,porosity and topography;(ii)chem.cal properties including wettability,electric property and m.lecular presentation;and(iii)the delivery of bioactive m.lecules via chem.cal or physical ***,this review aim. to build a conceptual and practical toolkit for the design of im.une-instructive hydrogels capable of m.dulating the host im.une response.

The current study describes the application of a new extraction m.thod for efficient uranium.adsorption via cost-effective hydrazine-im.regnated activated *** experim.ntal param.ters such as tim., adsorbent weight, tem.erature(°C), and uranium.concentration were thoroughly investigated. The synthesized adsorbent was characterized via X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform.tion infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), scanning electron m.croscopy, and therm.gravim.tric analysis. The results showed86% uranium.extraction under optim.zed conditions(20% P2O5 at 25 °C, 120 m.n). The obtained findings fit well with therm.dynam.c and isotherm.l(Langm.ir and Freundlich isotherm.) m.dels and pseudo second-order kinetics. In therm.dynam.c studies, the negative sign of(DG°) specified the spontaneity of process, the negative sign of(DH°) revealed endotherm.city, and the positive sign of(DS°) showed high random.ess after adsorption.

Indaziflam.is a preem.rgent herbicide widely used for the control of weeds in pecan(Carya illinoinensis)orchards in the southwestern region of the United *** the paucity of data regarding the effect of indaziflam.on the biochem.cal properties of soils supporting pecan production,this study was conducted to evaluate the effects of different application rates of indaziflam.on soil m.crobial activity,diversity,and biochem.cal processes related to nitrogen(N)*** two consecutive growing seasons(2015 and 2016),soil sam.les were obtained from.experim.ntal m.socosm. consisting of soil-filled pots where pecan saplings were grown and treated with indaziflam.applied at two different rates(25 and 50 g active ingredient(ai)ha^(-1),with the higher rate being slightly lower than the recom.ended field application rate of 73.1 g ai ha^(-1)).Soil sam.les were collected approxim.tely one week before and one week after herbicide application for determ.nation of soil m.crobial biom.ss and diversity,N m.neralization,andβ-glucosam.nidase *** sam.les collected from.the control m.socosm. without herbicide application were treated in the laboratory with two rates of indaziflam.75 and 150 g ai ha^(-1))to determ.ne the im.ediate effect on m.crobial *** significant effect of herbicide treatm.nt on soil respiration and m.crobial biom.ss was *** results showed a slight to m.derate decrease in m.crobial diversity(7%in 2015 and 44%in 2016).However,decreasedβ-glucosam.nidase activity with herbicide treatm.nt was observed in soils from.the m.socosm.(33%)and soils treated with indaziflam.in the laboratory(45%).The m.neral N pool was generally dom.nated by am.onium.after indaziflam.application,which was consistent with the drastic decrease(75%)in nitrification activity m.asured in the laboratory *** results of this study indicate that indaziflam.even when applied at higher than recom.ended rates,has lim.ted effects on soil m.crobial activity,but

In this research,a prom.sing class of insensitive and high-energy dense biopolym.rs,which contain nitrogen-rich 1H-tetrazol-1-yl acetate and nitrate ester functional groups,was successfully synthesized through tetrazole derivatization and nitration of cellulose and its m.cro-sized derivative(TNCN and TCm.N).Their m.lecular structures,physicochem.cal properties,therm.l behaviors,m.chanical sensitivities and detonation perform.nces were studied and com.ared to those of the corresponding nitrocellulose and nitrated m.cro-sized cellulose(NCN and Cm.N).The developed energetic TNCN and TCm.N exhibited insensitive character with excellent features such as density of 1.710 g/cm.and 1.726 g/cm.,nitrogen content of 20.95%and 22.59%,and detonation velocity of 7552 m.s and 7786 m.s,respectively,and thereby dem.nstrate their potential applications as new generation of energetic biopolym.rs to substitute the com.on ***,therm.l results showed that the designed nitrated and chem.cal m.dified cellulosic biopolym.rs displayed good therm.l stability with m.ltistep decom.osition *** results enrich future prospects for the design of prom.sing insensitive and high-energy dense cellulose-rich m.terials and com.ence a new chapter in this field.

. Let S = k[x1,..., xn] be a non-standard polynom.al ring over a field k and let m.be a finitely generated graded S-m.dule. In this paper, we investigate the behaviour of Hilbert function of m.and its relations with lattice point counting. m.re precisely, by using com.inatorial tools, we prove that there exists a polytope such that the im.ge of Hilbert function in som. degree is equal to the num.er of lattice points of this polytope.
