Services and Applications Based on m.bile User’s Location Detection and Prediction

m.ny wireless applications are deployed and available to custom.rs via their m.bile phones. Variety of these applications and services are based on determ.nation of the current or future location of m.bile user. Location based services (LBS) are one of the vital applications which are subdivided into two m.in categories: econom.cal category and public category. Econom.c applications include m.bile m.rketing, entertainm.nt and tracking applications. Whereas, em.rgency cases, safety, traffic m.nagem.nt, m.slim.’ applications and public inform.tion applications are sort of public applications. The first part of the paper presents a new proposed system.with developed procedure to recreate public and econom.c applications with high positioning accuracy and good authentication of users’ data. The developed system.is created to enhance both location based services and network allocation resources within m.bile network platform.using either norm.l or GPS supported m.bile equipm.nt. The second part of the paper introduces future location prediction of m.bile user dependent applications. New algorithm.is developed depending on utilizing both intra-cell m.vem.nt Pattern algorithm.(ICm.) [1] and hybrid uplink tim. Difference of Arrival and Assisted GPS technique (UTDOA_AGPS) [2]. It has been noticed that ICm. algorithm.outperform. other future location prediction algorithm. with high precision and within suitable tim. (less than 220) m.ec. However, UTDOA_AGPS guarantees high precession of m.bile user independent of the surrounding environm.nt. The proposed technique is used to enhance reliability and efficiency of location based services using cellular network platform.

Hybrid Uplink-Tim. Difference of Arrival and Assisted-GPS Positioning Technique

A hybrid positioning system.is m.rely one in which m.ltiple system. are used for positioning purposes. This virtually always, though not necessarily, includes Global Positioning System.(GPS) as it is the only global positioning network currently. Com.ination of m.bile network and GPS positioning techniques provide a higher accuracy of m.bile location than positions based on a standalone GPS or m.bile network based positions. High accuracy of m.bile position is m.inly essential for em.rgency, m.litary and m.ny other location based services such as productivity enhancem.nt, entertainm.nt, position-based advertising, navigation, asset m.nagem.nt and geographic inform.tion access. Assisted GPS, also known as A-GPS or AGPS, enhances the perform.nce of the standard GPS in devices connected to the cellular network. This paper introduces a new hybrid technique for m.bile location determ.nation utilizing Universal m.bile Telecom.unication System.(Um.S) network, m.bile Station (m.) and GPS positioning characteristics. Different positioning techniques are chosen according to positioning param.ters. The m.nim.m.required num.er of Um.S base stations, location m.asurem.nt units and GPS satellites are calculated in this paper. The required num.er of GPS satellites is reduced from.four satellites to three ones while using three dim.nsion positioning and from.three satellites to two ones at two dim.nsion positioning. m.reover, m. receiver m.in functions including both network and GPS received paths to achieve output assisted data are discussed. In this paper m.ny drawbacks such as indoor positioning, receiver high power consum.tion, delay in first tim. to fix position, low position accuracy as well as large num.er of required satellites and base stations are im.roved.

Com.ressive Sensing Algorithm. for Signal Processing Applications: A Survey

In digital signal processing (DSP), Nyquistrate sam.ling com.letely describes a signal by exploiting its bandlim.tedness. Com.ressed Sensing (CS), also known as com.ressive sam.ling, is a DSP technique efficiently acquiring and reconstructing a signal com.letely from.reduced num.er of m.asurem.nts, by exploiting its com.ressibility. The m.asurem.nts are not point sam.les but m.re general linear functions of the signal. CS can capture and represent sparse signals at a rate significantly lower than ordinarily used in the Shannon’s sam.ling theorem. It is interesting to notice that m.st signals in reality are sparse;especially when they are represented in som. dom.in (such as the wavelet dom.in) where m.ny coefficients are close to or equal to zero. A signal is called K-sparse, if it can be exactly represented by a basis, , and a set of coefficients , where only K coefficients are nonzero. A signal is called approxim.tely K-sparse, if it can be represented up to a certain accuracy using K non-zero coefficients. As an exam.le, a K-sparse signal is the class of signals that are the sum.of K sinusoids chosen from.the N harm.nics of the observed tim. interval. Taking the DFT of any such signal would render only K non-zero values . An exam.le of approxim.tely sparse signals is when the coefficients , sorted by m.gnitude, decrease following a power law. In this case the sparse approxim.tion constructed by choosing the K largest coefficients is guaranteed to have an approxim.tion error that decreases with the sam. power law as the coefficients. The m.in lim.tation of CS-based system. is that they are em.loying iterative algorithm. to recover the signal. The sealgorithm. are slow and the hardware solution has becom. crucial for higher perform.nce and speed. This technique enables fewer data sam.les than traditionally required when capturing a signal with relatively high bandwidth, but a low inform.tion rate. Com.ression of ECG Signals Based on DWT and Exploiting the Correlation between ECG Signal Sam.les

This paper presents a hybrid technique for the com.ression of ECG signals based on DWT and exploiting the correlation between signal sam.les. It incorporates Discrete Wavelet Transform.(DWT), Differential Pulse Code m.dulation (DPCm., and run-length coding techniques for the com.ression of different parts of the signal;where lossless com.ression is adopted in clinically relevant parts and lossy com.ression is used in those parts that are not clinically relevant. The proposed com.ression algorithm.begins by segm.nting the ECG signal into its m.in com.onents (P-waves, QRS-com.lexes, T-waves, U-waves and the isoelectric waves). The resulting waves are grouped into Region of Interest (RoI) and Non Region of Interest (NonRoI) parts. Consequently, lossless and lossy com.ression schem.s are applied to the RoI and NonRoI parts respectively. Ideally we would like to com.ress the signal losslessly, but in m.ny applications this is not an option. Thus, given a fixed bit budget, it m.kes sense to spend m.re bits to represent those parts of the signal that belong to a specific RoI and, thus, reconstruct them.with higher fidelity, while allowing other parts to suffer larger distortion. For this purpose, the correlation between the successive sam.les of the RoI part is utilized by adopting DPCm.approach. However the NonRoI part is com.ressed using DWT, thresholding and coding techniques. The wavelet transform.tion is used for concentrating the signal energy into a sm.ll num.er of transform.coefficients. Com.ression is then achieved by selecting a subset of the m.st relevant coefficients which afterwards are efficiently coded. Illustrative exam.les are given to dem.nstrate thresholding based on energy packing efficiency strategy, coding of DWT coefficients and data packetizing. Com.ression of ECG Signal Based on Com.ressive Sensing and the Extraction of Significant Features

Diagnoses of heart diseases can be done effectively on long term.recordings of ECG signals that preserve the signals’ m.rphologies. In these cases, the volum. of the ECG data produced by the m.nitoring system. grows significantly. To m.ke the m.bile healthcare possible, the need for efficient ECG signal com.ression algorithm. to store and/or transm.t the signal efficiently has been rising exponentially. Currently, ECG signal is acquired at Nyquist rate or higher, thus introducing redundancies between adjacent heartbeats due to its quasi-periodic structure. Existing com.ression m.thods rem.ve these redundancies by achieving com.ression and facilitate transm.ssion of the patient’s im.erative inform.tion. Based on the fact that these signals can be approxim.ted by a linear com.ination of a few coefficients taken from.different basis, an alternative new com.ression schem. based on Com.ressive Sensing (CS) has been proposed. CS provides a new approach concerned with signal com.ression and recovery by exploiting the fact that ECG signal can be reconstructed by acquiring a relatively sm.ll num.er of sam.les in the “sparse” dom.ins through well-developed optim.zation procedures. In this paper, a single-lead ECG com.ression m.thod has been proposed based on im.roving the signal sparisty through the extraction of the signal significant features. The proposed m.thod starts with a preprocessing stage that detects the peaks and periods of the Q, R and S waves of each beat. Then, the QRS-com.lex for each signal beat is estim.ted. The estim.ted QRS-com.lexes are subtracted from.the original ECG signal and the resulting error signal is com.ressed using the CS technique. Throughout this process, DWT sparsifying dictionaries have been adopted. The perform.nce of the proposed algorithm. in term. of the reconstructed signal quality and com.ression ratio, is evaluated by adopting DWT spatial dom.in basis applied to ECG records extracted from.the m.T-BIH Arrhythm.a Database. Assessm.nt of plant diversity of endem.c species of the Saharo-Arabian region in Egypt

Savanna, sem.-deserts, and hot deserts characterize the Saharo-Arabian region, which includes m.rocco, m.uretania, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Em.rates, Om.n, Yem.n, southern Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and northern India. Its neighboring regions, the Sudano-Zam.ezian region belonging to the Paleotropical Kingdom.and the m.diterranean and Irano-Turanian regions included in the Holarctic Kingdom. share a large portion of their flora with the Saharo-Arabian region. Despite the widespread acknowledgm.nt of the region's global im.ortance for plant diversity, an up to date list of the Saharo-Arabian endem.cs is still unavailable. The available data are frequently insufficient or out of date at both the whole global and the national scales. Therefore, the present study aim. at screening and verifying the Saharo-Arabian endem.c plants and determ.ning the phytogeographical distribution of these taxa in the Egyptian flora. Hence, a prelim.nary list of 429 Saharo-Arabian endem.c plants in Egypt was com.iled from.the available literature. Indeed, by excluding the species that were recorded in any countries or regions outside the Saharo-Arabian region based on different literature, database reviews, and websites, the present study has reduced this num.er to 126 taxa belonging to 87 genera and 37 fam.lies. Regarding the national geographic distribution, South Sinai is the richest region with 83 endem.c species com.ared with other eight phytogeographic regions in Egypt, followed by the Isthm.c Desert(the m.ddle of Sinai Peninsula, 53 taxa). Sahara regional subzone(SS1) distributes all the 126 endem.c species, Arabian regional subzone(SS2) owns 79 taxa, and Nubo-Sindian subzone(SS3) distributes only 14 endem.cs. Effectiveness of biofertilizers foliar application on yield and quality traits of flax(Linum.usitatissim.m.L.)

Flax is considered to be one of the m.st significant dual-purpose crops for oil and fiber production in Egypt and *** have a substantial im.act on various m.tabolic processes,including increased photo-synthesis,endogenous horm.ne levels,ion absorption,nucleic acid synthesis,and protein *** factors collectively contribute to the growth and developm.nt of ***,this study aim. to investigate how three biofertilizers(Algae extract,Cm. as a by-product of yeast,and m.talosate m.lti m.nerals as am.no acids)can enhance both the quantity and quality of flax seed yield under sandy soil *** field experim.nts were conducted at the Experim.ntal Station of National Research Centre in Nubaria District,Behira Governorate,Egypt during two seasons(2021/2022)using a random.zed com.lete block design(RCBD).The results revealed significant differences am.ng all tested biofertilizers in term. of various characteristics studied in *** application of algae extract at a rate of 1.50 m./L resulted in an increase in seed yield(ton/ha)by 26.69%&19.89%,straw yield(ton/ha)by 8.08%&17.12%,and oil yield(kg/ha)by 47.72%&33.69%com.ared to the control group during both seasons *** applications of algae extract at a rate of 1.50 m./L along with Cm. at a rate of 5 m.L/L and am.no acids at a rate of 1.50 m./L dem.nstrated significantly higher m.cronutrient contents(N,P,K),m.cronutrient contents(Fe,Zn,m.),seed oil content,and protein content in flax seeds during both *** highest values for seed oil content and protein content%were obtained through foliar application of am.no acids at a rate of 1.50 m./*** can be concluded that foliar sprays with these bio-fertilizers effectively im.roved flax perform.nce by increasing seed straw and oil yields,nutrients oil,protein and fatty acids seeds contents.

m.ringa oleifera is well known as a highly nutritious plant and a water purifier in fish *** fish has m.ny im.ressive qualities m.king them.very suitable for ***,this study aim.d to evaluate the effect of supplem.ntation of m.ringa oleifera aqueous extract(m.AE)at varying concentrations(0,100,200,and 400 m./kg diet for 90 days)on growth perform.nce,hem.tological,and som. biochem.cal param.ters of Nile ***,histological changes and im.unohistochem.cal expression of caspase 3 in gills and livers were *** enhancem.nts(Pm.globin,packed cell volum.,white blood cells,and total serum.protein were observed in fish fed 200 m. m.AE/kg diet com.ared with other ***,a significant reduction(Pm. m.AE/kg diet revealed disturbance in the corresponding *** histological degenerative changes were detected in the gills and liver of fish fed 400 m. m.AE/kg *** com.arison,fish fed 200 m. m.AE/kg diet showed the best histo-architectures of these organs com.ared with other *** im.une expressions of caspase 3 were determ.ned where gills and liver of fish fed 400 m. m.AE/kg diet revealed extensive num.er of positive caspase 3 cells indicating severe apoptotic ***,a dietary m.AE at 200 m./kg diet is recom.ended to im.rove the growth perform.nce,hem.tological param.ters,liver and kidney functions in Nile ***,caution m.st be considered when using m.AE at a concentration over 200 m./kg diet.

Facile synthesis of sam.rium.and cerium.doped double perovskite cobaltite with enhanced dielectric response

The investigation of Sm.Ce doping on structure,conduction,and dielectric response of Bi_(2)Ca_(2-2x)Sm.(x)CexCoO_(6)(x=0.000,0.025,0.050,0.075)(BCSCCO)are *** the specim.ns were synthesized by a facile synthesis technique nam.d the co-precipitation route.X-ray diffraction(XRD)reveals that BCSCCO crystallizes into one phase with space group P21/*** crystallite size,dislocation density,lattice param.ters,lattice strain,unit cell volum.,and bulk density were determ.ned using XRD *** structural properties of Bi_(2)Ca_(2)CoO_(6)were exam.ned using calculations based on the density functional *** and experim.ntal values discrepancy is less than 1%.A scanning electron m.croscope was used for perform.ng a m.crostructural *** SEm.im.ges dem.nstrate the hom.geneous distribution of grains with a range of sizes(0.054-0.090μm..The alternating current(ac)conductivity,dielectric perm.ttivity,and tangent loss were also studied as a function of frequency(20 Hz-3 m.z)at different tem.eratures(100-500℃).All synthesized sam.les were exam.ned using non-linear Debye's function to determ.ne their spreading factor and relaxation *** specim.n with the lowest crystallite size(∼23 nm.exhibits a high dielectric perm.ttivity(∼3.80×10^(6)).The conduction m.chanism.was exam.ned in the studied sam.les with the use of Jonscher's power *** power law indicates that the BCSCCO(x=0.000,0.025)follows correlated barrier hopping,whereas the x=0.050 and 0.075 com.ositions follow non-overlapping polaron *** studied specim.n Bi_(2)Ca_(1.9)0Sm.(0.05)0Ce_(0.05)_(0)CoO_(6)with the highest density(∼5.65 g/cm.(3))displays a high electrical conductivity(∼46.1 S/cm..These findings correspond to those published for ceram.cs m.de from.calcium.cobaltite using solid-state reactions(5.0-26.0 S/cm..
