The Response of the Earth's Lower Ionosphere to Gamma-Ray Solar Flares and their Associated X-ray

The present work aims to explore the impact of solar gamma-ray fiares(GRFs),detected by the Fermi-Large Area Telescope(LAT),and their associated X-ray fiares(XRFs)on the Earth’s lower *** data of ionospheric parameter fmin were collected from the Yamagawa mid-latitude ionosonde station in *** most of the GRFs used in this study are associated with soft X-ray(SXR)emissions,detected by the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite(GOES),we classified them into three types:simultaneous(S),delayed(D)and not associated(N),refiecting the phase occurrence of the solar ***,the ionospheric D layer responds strongly to XRFs more than *** temporal profiles of the ionospheric parameter fmin show distinct behaviors as a response to the various GRF *** the case of the S-type,a single strong peak,with an average value of 5.2 mHz,emanates in the fmin profile within an average interval of time of less than half an *** the case of the D-type,two successive peaks appear in the fmin profile,with an average value of 6.0 mHz for the second peak through a time interval of one hour after the onset of gamma-ray(GR)*** response of the fmin parameter to the N-type fiares appears as a single peak with an average value of 4.8 mHz within about an *** notice that the difference between the fmin peak values and the corresponding reference ones(dfmin)is more convenient and representative than the fmin values,where the median GR fiux of the S-,D-and N-types tends to increase as the average dfmin increases.

Chaotic behavior can be observed in continuous and discrete-time *** behavior can appear in one-dimensional nonlinear maps;however,having at least three state variables in flows is *** to the lower mathematical complexity and computational cost of maps,lots of research has been conducted based on *** paper aims to present a novel one-dimensional trigonometric chaotic map that is multi-stable and can act *** proposed chaotic map is first analyzed using a single sinusoidal function;then,its abilities are expanded to a map with a combination of two sinusoidal *** stability conditions of both maps are investigated,and their different behaviors are validated through time series,state space,and cobweb ***,the influence of parameter variations on the maps’outputs is examined by one-dimensional and two-dimensional bifurcation diagrams and Lyapunov exponent ***,the diversity of outputs with varying initial conditions reveals this map’s *** newly designed chaotic map can be employed in encryption applications.

Spherical fuzzy soft expert set(SFSES)theory blends the perks of spherical fuzzy sets and group decision-making into a unified *** allows solutions to highly complicated uncertainties and ambiguities under the unbiased supervision and group decision-making of multiple ***,SFSES theory has some deficiencies such as the inability to interpret and portray the bipolarity of *** work highlights and overcomes these limitations by introducing the novel spherical fuzzy bipolar soft expert sets(SFBSESs)as a powerful hybridization of spherical fuzzy set theory with bipolar soft expert sets(BSESs).Followed by the development of certain set-theoretic operations and properties of the proposed model,important problems,including the selection of non-powered dam(NPD)sites for hydropower conversion are discussed and solved under the proposed *** problems mainly focus on the need for an efficient tool capable of considering the bipolarity of parameters,complicated ambiguities,and multiple *** the new approach by a detailed comparative analysis,it is concluded that the proposed model is more comprehensive and reliable for multi-attribute group decisionmaking(mAGDm)than the previous tools,particularly considering the bipolarity of parameters under SFSES environment.

在杂萘联苯聚芳醚酮(PPEK)与银粉掺杂制备的复合材料表面造孔后,采用银离子催化表面自由基聚合法制备聚丙烯酸/丙烯酰胺水凝胶涂层。通过傅里叶变换红外光谱仪、钨灯丝扫描电子显微镜、X射线光电子能谱仪等对水凝胶涂层的结构与性能进行表征,并研究水凝胶涂层改性PPEK的抑菌作用及其细胞相容性。结果表明:PPEK表面造孔后,涂层与基体材料的结合能从185.83 J/m^(2)提高到926.26 J/m^(2);该水凝胶涂层对大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌的抑菌率达到95%以上,且无细胞毒性,扩大了PPEK在医疗卫生领域的应用。

Exploration of structural,optical,and photoluminescent properties of (1-x)NiCo_(2)O_(4)/xPbS nanocomposites for optoelectronic applications

The(1-x)NiCo_(2)O_(4)/x PbS(0≤x≤0.2)nanocomposite samples are synthesized using the hydrothermal and thermolysis *** different phases developed in the obtained nanocomposite samples are accurately determined using the x-ray diffraction technique equipped with a *** percentage of the formed phases(NiCo_(2)O_(4)(NCO),PbS,PbSO_(4)),structural and microstructure parameters are determined using Rietveld quantitative phase *** transmission electron microscope(TEm)images and Rietveld analysis reveal almost isotropic particle size in the nano range with a very narrow size *** obtained phase percentage of PbS and PbSO4are smaller than nominated values(x)suggesting dissolving of some Pb and S ions into NCO which is then confirmed by the analysis of Fourier-transform infrared(FTIR)spectra of nanocomposite *** absorption spectra are modified upon doping NCO with *** optical band gaps of the nanocomposites increase as the amount of PbS *** effect of alloying on extinction coefficient,refractive index,dielectric constant,optical conductivity,the intensity,and emitted color from the photoluminescence of the nanocomposite samples are also *** refractive index value of NCO and NCO-PbS nanocomposite samples exhibit normal *** photoluminescent measurements reveal that the NCO-PbS nanocomposites can emit a violet *** improvement in the values of the nonlinear optical(NLO)parameters of pristine NCO at high frequencies or the nanocomposite samples at low frequencies,are made them used in NLO photonic devices.

目的:探讨配戴角巩膜接触镜对圆锥角膜患者视力和角膜参数的影响。方法:前瞻性研究。共纳入43例(83眼)圆锥角膜患者。配戴角巩膜接触镜，并分别在戴镜前、戴镜3、6 mo后行裂隙灯检查、客观验光和主观验光、裸眼视力(UCVA)和最佳矫正视力(BCVA)、角膜曲率(Kmax、K1和K2)、中央角膜厚度和内皮细胞计数检查。结果:配戴6 mo框架眼镜后平均BCVA(Log mAR)为0.34±0.23，角巩膜接触镜为0.03±0.05(P mo后，Kmax由52.80±5.93 D变为51.51±5.64 D(Pm变为476.28±35.38μm(P mm2变为2572.73±274.3 cells/mm2(P<0.001)。结论:临床中角膜参数未发生明显变化，角巩膜镜可显著提高视力，且可安全用于圆锥角膜患者。

Induced Earthquake Hazard by Geothermal Power Plants: Statistical Evaluation and Probabilistic modeling

This study statistically evaluated the characteristics of induced earthquakes by geothermal power plants(GPPs)and generated a probabilistic model for simulating stochastic seismic *** well-known power plant zones were selected worldwide from the United States,Germany,France,and New *** operational condition information,as well as the corresponding earthquake catalogs recorded in the vicinity of GPPs,were gathered from their commencement *** statistical properties of events were studied *** using this proposed database,a probabilistic model was developed capable of generating the number of induced seismic events per month,their magnitude,focal depth,and distance from the epicenter to the power plant,*** of these parameters are simulated as a function of power plant injection *** speaking,the model,introduced in this study,is a tool for engineers and scientists interested in the seismic risk assessment of built environments prone to induced seismicity produced by GPPs operation.

An ensemble deep learning model for cyber threat hunting in industrial internet of things

By the emergence of the fourth industrial revolution,interconnected devices and sensors generate large-scale,dynamic,and inharmonious data in Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)*** vast heterogeneous data increase the challenges of security risks and data analysis *** IIoT grows,cyber-attacks become more diverse and complex,making existing anomaly detection models less effective to *** this paper,an ensemble deep learning model that uses the benefits of the Long Short-Term memory(LSTm)and the AutoEncoder(AE)architecture to identify out-of-norm activities for cyber threat hunting in IIoT is *** this model,the LSTm is applied to create a model on normal time series of data(past and present data)to learn normal data patterns and the important features of data are identified by AE to reduce data *** addition,the imbalanced nature of IIoT datasets has not been considered in most of the previous literature,affecting low accuracy and *** solve this problem,the proposed model extracts new balanced data from the imbalanced datasets,and these new balanced data are fed into the deep LSTm AE anomaly detection *** this paper,the proposed model is evaluated on two real IIoT datasets-Gas Pipeline(GP)and Secure Water Treatment(SWaT)that are imbalanced and consist of long-term and short-term dependency on *** results are compared with conventional machine learning classifiers,Random Forest(RF),multi-Layer Perceptron(mLP),Decision Tree(DT),and Super Vector machines(SVm),in which higher performance in terms of accuracy is obtained,99.3%and 99.7%based on GP and SWaT datasets,***,the proposed ensemble model is compared with advanced related models,including Stacked Auto-Encoders(SAE),Naive Bayes(NB),Projective Adaptive Resonance Theory(PART),Convolutional Auto-Encoder(C-AE),and Package Signatures(PS)based LSTm(PS-LSTm)model.
