The physical,chemical and fibre characteristics of the 6,8 and 10 years old akashmoni(Acacia auriculiformis)wood from the second generation seed and their suitability for pulping were assessed and compared with the wood of 10 years old from the first generation *** *** of 8 years old had the highestα-cellulose and lower lignin than those of 6 and 10 years old,which are similar to the first generation *** study also evaluated the effect of cooking time,temperature and active alkali on kraft *** most important influence factors for pulp yield and kappa number were active alkali charge and *** highest screened rejects were observed for young *** degree of the 1st generation was faster than that of the 2nd generation ***.

Pulping of corn stalks was studied in soda, soda-anthraquinone (AQ), kraft and kraft-AQ processes. The time, temperature and alkali concentration were varied in soda process. In respect to kappa number and pulp yield, 1 hour cooking at 1400C in 14% alkali were best conditions for corn stalks pulping. Pulp yield was increased by 5.5% and kappa number was reduced by 4.4 points with an addition of 0.05% AQ in the soda liquor. Breaking length was better in soda-AQ process than soda process but tear strength was inferior. In the kraft process, pulp yield was increased with increasing sulphidity and decreasing active alkali. The effectiveness of AQ in the low and high sulphidity kraft process was studied. Results showed that AQ was more effective in low sulphidity than high sulphidity. Strength properties in kraft processes were better than the soda and soda-AQ processes.

Computational calculations using density functional theory(DFT) were performed for the first time using the full potential linearized augmented plane wave plus local orbital method(FP-LAPW + LO) to determine the structural, elastic, electronic and magnetic properties of europium-based cubic perovskites EuYO_(3)(Y=Cr, mn, Fe). The exchange correlation potentials of GGA along with some analytical methods were adopted for the computation of structural and elastic properties. moreover, the GGA + U formalism was also added for obtaining more precise electronic and magnetic properties, particularly to address the Eu-4f and Y-3d orientations in the spin-polarized double cell symmetry. The observed lattice parameters of these compounds are consistent with experiment. The observed bulk moduli predict that EuCrO_(3) is harder and less compressible than EumnO_(3) and EuFeO_(3). The calculated tolerance factors of these compounds are within the cubic symmetry range. Our computed critical radius of EuCrO_(3) shows that EuCrO_(3) has a larger migration energy. Based on their elastic properties, these compounds are ductile in nature. We also computed the thermal properties of these compounds. The band structures and density of states show that these compounds are metallic in character. The lowest ground state energy and magnetic moments of these compounds expose their ferromagnetic nature. The metallic nature and strong ferromagnetism of these compounds make them promising applicants for application in spintronic.

采用磷酸铵镁(mAP)沉淀法在实验室对高浓度氨氮纸机白水进行预处理,并对pH值、药品投配比(n(mg):n(NH):n(PO))、反应时间、废液初始浓度等影响因素进行了研究。结果表明,去除纸机白水中氨氮的最佳处理条件为:pH值9.5、n(mg):n(NH):n(PO)=1:1:1、反应时间20min;该条件下,氨氮初始浓度为13500mg/L的纸机白水的氨氮去除率为84.8%;此外,氨氮去除率随纸机白水中氨氮浓度的降低而提高,当初始氨氮浓度为1000 mg/L时,氨氮去除率可达95.6%。

Dhaincha(Sesbania bispinosa(Jacq.)Wight)is a crop generally cultivated for improving soil *** to the lack of forest worldwide,alternative source of raw materials for cellulose industries is the main concern *** this investigation,dhaincha samples of 21 accessions were collected from different districts of Bangladesh in order to study the variation of chemical characteristics and its *** lignin,pentosan andα-cellulose content were varied from 21 to 23%,16 to 18%and 38 to 43%,*** highest and lowestα-cellulose contents were found in two location of mymensingh *** was no correlation was found among the ***,pulping of dhaincha from selected seven districts was carried out in kraft process at the conditions of 18%active alkali at 170℃ for 2 *** the pulping properties did not show any mentionable distinction for place *** pulp yield is 42.9%with kappa number *** highest brightness 85%was reached with D_(0)E_(p)D_(1)*** papermaking properties were very close to the conventional raw materials used in ***,dhaincha can be used as a raw material for pulp production in Bangladesh.
