In this paper, according to the temperature and strain distribution obtained by considering the Gaussian pump profile and dependence of physical properties on temperature, we derive an analytical model for refractive index variations of the diode side-pumped Nd：YAG laser rod. Then we evaluate this model by numerical solution and our maximum relative errors are 5% and 10% for variations caused by thermo–optical and thermo–mechanical effects; respectively. Finally, we present an analytical model for calculating the focal length of the thermal lens and spherical aberration. This model is evaluated by experimental results.

Design and tolerance of a new head up display’s projector system is reported. It is based on laser-micro display modules. We designed optical diffraction limited modules and some of our novelties were compactness, using common material and spherical lenses in optical design, easy and economical manufacturing process, uniform intensity and minimum aberrations of final image, economical and repairable designed system. Projector magnification is 10.0X and diagonal of image plane is 76.2 mm. ZEmAX software is employed for optical design and tolerance.

We use the constituent quark model to extract polarized parton distributions and finally polarized nucleon structure *** to limited experimental data which do not cover whole （x,Q 2 ） plane and to increase the reliability of the fitting,we employ the Jacobi orthogonal polynomials *** will be possible to extract the polarized structure functions for Helium,using the convolution of the nucleon polarized structure functions with the light cone moment *** results are in good agreement with available experimental data and some theoretical models.

The most common index for representing structural condition of the pavement is the structural *** current procedure for determining structural numbers involves utilizing falling weight deflectometer and ground-penetrating radar tests,recording pavement surface deflections,and analyzing recorded deflections by back-calculation *** procedure has two drawbacks:falling weight deflectometer and ground-penetrating radar are expensive tests;back-calculation ways has some inherent shortcomings compared to exact methods as they adopt a trial and error *** this study,three machine learning methods entitled Gaussian process regression,m5P model tree,and random forest used for the prediction of structural numbers in flexible *** of this paper is related to 759 flexible pavement sections at Semnan and Khuzestan provinces in Iran and includes“structural number”as output and“surface deflections and surface temperature”as *** accuracy of results was examined based on three criteria of R,mAE,and *** the methods employed in this paper,random forest is the most accurate as it yields the best values for above criteria(R=0.841,mAE=0.592,and RmSE=0.760).The proposed method does not require to use ground penetrating radar test,which in turn reduce costs and work *** machine learning methods instead of back-calculation improves the calculation process quality and accuracy.

We determine the strong coupling constant α s up to 4-loop in perturbative *** QCD requires the measurement of α s over ranges of energy *** this analysis,the value of α s is determined from the unpolarized structure functions data points by minimizing the χ ^2 function between the theory result and experimental *** perturbative QCD calculations from threshold corrections,we obtain α s （m 2 Z ） = 0.1139±0.0020 at N ^3 LO which is in good agreement with the very recently results from the inclusive jet cross section in pp collisions at√ s=1.96 TeV.

Spectrophotometric and spectrofluorimetric methods for the determination of ropinirole content in pharmaceutical dosage forms

Two simple and rapid spectrofluorimetric and spectrophotometric methods were described for the determination of ropinirole hydrochloride content in pharmaceutical dosage forms. Both methods are based on the reaction of ropinirole hydrochloride and eosin Y in aqueous medium at p H 4.0. Quenching of the fluorescence intensity of eosin Y at 540 nm upon excitation at 350 nm was used for the determination of ropinirole hydrochloride levels after ion-pair complex formation. Also, the absorbance increase of eosin Y at 546 nm after ion-pair complex formation was used for spectrophotometric measurements. Both methods showed linear relationships between the fluorescence quenching or absorbance increase and ropinirole concentration in the range of 6–150 μg/m L and 50–500 μg/m L for spectrofluorimetric and spectrophotometric methods, respectively. As no organic solvents were used in these two methods, they could be categorized as green analytical methods. Both methods were accurate(Errormethods were used for determination of ropinirole hydrochloride content in pharmaceutical dosage forms without any significant interference from associated impurities.

Synthesis and antibacterial activity of Schiff bases of 5-substituted isatins

Based on the existing reports on the bioactive isatin derivatives, a number of Schiff bases were synthesized by reacting 5-substituted isatins with bioactive amines/hydrazides and their structures were confirmed using spectroscopic methods such as NmR, IR and mass spectrometry. Furthermore, Nbenzylation of isatin followed by the Schiff base formation furnished a new series of compounds（11a-13c） which allowed the analysis of the effect of isatin N-substitution on the bioactivity of the resulting compounds. The antibacterial activity of the synthesized derivatives was evaluated using a microtiter plate method on a series of gram positive and gram negative bacterial strains. Compounds 2d, 3b, 5c and 6a were among the most potent derivatives against Pseudomonas aeruginosa（mIC = 6.25 μg/m L）.Analysis of the structure-activity relationship showed that the incorporation of（thio）urea-based Schiff bases lead to more potent derivatives with a broader spectrum of antibacterial activity. In addition,highly lipophilic compounds such as 11a-12c did not show any measurable antibacterial activity, which implies that an optimal lipophilicity might be an important requirement for the antibacterial activity of the studied isatins. Finally, the finding that hydantoin derivatives of N-benzylisatins（13a-13c） still exhibit some antibacterial activity prompted us to consider exploring the bioactivity of more diverse derivatives of isatin-aminohydantoin Schiff bases（compounds 1a-1d） in our future studies.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

Objective: Prostate secretory protein of 94 amino acids(PSP94) is a target gene of the EZH2 transcriptional repressor and is often downregulated in prostate cancer;however, its prognostic value is ***: Immunohistochemical analysis of a tissue microarray of 12, 432 prostate cancer specimens was performed to evaluate PSP94 expression. Correlation of PSP94 expression with tumor phenotype, patient prognosis, TmPRSS2:ERG fusion status, EZH2 expression and PTEN deletion was ***: PSP94 expression was increased in benign prostatic hyperplasia;however, it was downregulated in 48% and negative in42% of the 9, 881 interpretable prostate cancer specimens. The loss of PSP94 expression was inversely correlated to EZH2 expression(P mor stage, and nodal metastasis(P mens increased from 40% in pT2 to 52%in pT3 b-pT4(P m 40% in Gleason 3+3 = 6 to 46% in Gleason 4+3 = 7 and 60% in Gleason ≥4+4 = 8(P mpact in cancer specimens with PTEN deletion. Loss of PSP94 deteriorated prognosis of cancer patients with PTEN deletion by more than 10%(P mbination of PTEN deletion and PSP94 loss provided independent prognostic information that was observed in several subgroups defined by classical and quantitative Gleason ***: The results of our study suggest that combined PSP94/PTEN analysis can be potentially used in the clinical prognosis of prostate cancer.
