为了研究西太平洋地区的构造形变特征,在此建立了一个连续的GPS跟踪网络,并命名为西太平洋整体GPS网络(WING)。1995年至1997年3月该网共建有10个新站点。我们利用该网1995年7月到1996年10月的观测资料和国际GPS地球动力学服务(IGS)全球站的数据来估算各站点的日坐标,并采用自由基准方法以获取最优基线解。为了将估算的坐标归算到地球参考框架上,我们根据Heki(1996)的估算结果,假设筑波IGS站点正相对稳定的欧亚板块以约2cm/a的速度向西运动。我们发现:(1)海洋板块内各站点的运动速度与刚性板块运动模型吻合得很好;(2)板块边界附近站点的运动受到板块边界形变的影响。在这些板块边界中,马里亚纳和冲绳海沟的弧后隆起(扩张)清晰可辨;(3)位于东亚地区的各站点正相对稳定的欧亚板块向东到东南方向运动,反映了印度板块和亚洲板块北向碰撞的长距离效应。

AIm：To compare the corneal biomechanical properties difference by ocular response analyzer（ORA） in normal tension glaucoma（NTG） patients with different visual field（VF） progression speed. mETHODS：NTG patients with well-controlled Goldmann applanation tonometer（GAT） who routinely consulted Kitasato University Hospital Glaucoma Department between January 2010 and February 2014 were *** and ORA parameters including corneal compensated intraocular pressure（lOPcc）,Goldmann estimated intraocular pressure（lOPg）,corneal hysteresis（CH）,corneal resistance factor（CRF） were *** was tested by Swedish interactive threshold algorithm（SITA）-standard 30-2 *** patients underwent VF measurement regularly and GAT did not exceed 15 mm Hg at any time during the 3y follow *** were divided into four groups according to VF change over 3y,and ORA findings were compared between the upper 25th percentile group（slow progression group） and the lower 25th percentile group（rapid progression group）.RESULTS：Eighty-two eyes of 56 patients were *** were 21 eyes（21 patients） each in rapid and slow progression groups ***,lOPcc,lOPg,CH,CRF were 12.1＋1.4 mm Hg,15.8±1.8 mm Hg,12.8±2.0 mm Hg,8.4±1.1 mm Hg,7.9±1.3 mm Hg respectively in rapid progression group and 11.5±1.3 mm Hg,13.5±2.1 mm Hg,11.2±1.6 mm Hg,9.3±1.1 mm Hg,8.2±0.9 mm Hg respectively in slow progression group（P=0.214,〈0.001,0.007,0.017,0.413,respectively）.In bivariate correlation analysis,lOPcc,lOPcc-GAT and CH were significant correlated with m△mD（r =-0.292,-0.312,0.228 respectively,P =0.008,0.004,0.039 respectively）.CONCLUSION：Relatively rapid VF progression occurred in NTG patients whose lOPcc are rather high,CH are rather low and the difference between lOPcc and GAT are relatively *** lOPcc and lower CH are associated with VF progression in NTG *** study suggests that GAT measures might underestimate the IOP in such patients.

Dear editor,The current treatment strategy for advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients harboring epider-mal growth factor receptor(EGFR)mutations involves EGFR-tyrosine kinase inhibitors(EGFR-TKIs).Several reports on EGFR-TKI resistance have shown that the T790m mutation within the EGFR gene is present in approximately half of the patients who develop resist-ance to a first-or second-generation EGFR-TKI[1,2].In Japan,osimertinib monotherapy is the standard therapy for patients harboring the EGFR T790m mutation arising after the development of resistance to a first-or second-generation EGFR-TKI[3,4].Herein,we report the case of a patient who underwent four tumor biopsies over the treatment *** no detection of this mutation after developing resistance to the first-line EGFR-TKI,in the fourth biopsy specimen,which was collected after progression following EGFR-TKI re-challenge,EGFR T790m mutation was detected using the cobas®EGFR mutation test(Roche molecular Systems,Pleasanton,CA,USA).Additionally,we analyzed the T790m allele frequency(AF)in longitudinal biopsy samples obtained at four different time points using droplet digital PCR(ddPCR)(PrimePCR™,Bio-Rad Laboratories,Inc.,Her-cules,CA,USA).We discuss the clinical usefulness of longitudinal assessment of the EGFR T790m AF,espe-cially for deciding the appropriate treatment(e.g.,osi-mertinib)in patients with EGFR mutations.

Tribological property of c-axis textured shell-like Ti3AlC2 ceramic was investigated using reciprocating sliding balls (SUS304) under loads of 1, 5, and 9 N. It was found that the textured top surface (TTS), corresponding to the (000l) plane, shows the lowest mean coefficient of friction in comparison with those measured on the textured side surface (TSS), where the sliding directions are parallel (TSS-1) and perpendicular (TSS-2) to c axis, under the same load. Among all the tested orientations, the TSS-2 exhibited the lowest wear rate of 1.51×10−3 mm3/(N·m) under the load of 9 N. The worn mechanisms on the TTS and TSS-1 were delamination, grain fracture, and grain spalling-off. On the TSS-2, plowing effect against balls was the dominating mechanism. This work suggests the criteria to maximize the wear resistance in the load range of 1–9 N.

Temporal Sequence of Sweetness Perception in Fruit-Flavored Tea: A Descriptive Report on the Influence of Sucrose Concentrations on the Sensation

The goals of this study were to examine, using the temporal dominance of sensations (TDS) method, the effects of 1) the sucrose concentration on the temporal sequence of sweetness perception in four fruit-flavored (lemon, peach, strawberry, and vanilla) teas with 0.05, 0.15, and 0.25 m sucrose;and 2) participants’ sex on this temporal sequence. Twenty-four healthy young adults were assigned to female (n = 12) and male (n = 12) groups. Both groups evaluated five sensory attributes in 12 samples (four fruit-flavored teas, each with three sucrose concentrations). As in our preceding study [1], two sensations, sweetness and fruitiness, were dominant after ingesting the 12 teas in both groups, but the temporal sequence of sweetness perception differed between the two groups. On average, the male group reported the first appearance of sweetness earlier in the samples with 0.05 m sucrose compared with the female group, with the samples containing 0.15 and 0.25 m sucrose. The average durations of the sweetness sensation were different between the male and female groups as well as among the sucrose concentrations and the four flavors tested.

This review examines glioma disease initiation,promotion,and progression with a focus on the cell types present within the tumor mass and the molecules responsible for the immunosuppressive microenvironment that are present at each step of the *** cell types and molecules present also correlate with the grade of *** overall“type 2”chronic inflammatory microenvironment develops that facilitates glioma promotion and contributes to the neo-vascularization characteristic of *** immunosuppressive microenvironment shields the tumor mass from clearance by the patient’s own immune ***,we provide suggestions to deal with a chronically-inflamed tumor microenvironment and provide recommendations to help optimize adjuvant immune-and gene therapies currently offered to glioma patients.

为了对平流层大气环流的地形影响的作用进行分析,我们作了一个12层全球环流NCAR(美国国家大气研究中心)模式进行数值试验来模拟有山和无山情况下的1月份气候形势,模式中的大气顶为36公里,采用球坐标,水平网格的经距和纬距取5°,垂直格距取3公里。这个模式包括了许多物理因子:太阳辐射和大地辐射,地面和行星边界层,对流层中大尺度降水和云,地面和冰雪面的温度,对流调整,次网格尺度的热量、水汽和动量的输送。地面的大陆度:在有山的情况下由洋面温度与真实地形来确定,在无山的情况下由洋面温度与地平面高度来确定。我们规定按太阳偏角、海面温度以及臭氧随纬度—高度的分布来模拟1月份平均情况。试验中不考虑光化过程。1月份(有山和无山)两种模拟情况的差异是用大气状态变量的地理分布以及纬向平均的气候统计结果来进行分析的。结果发现平流层中在考虑了山的情况下,在增强行星波动能量的铅直输送的方面有明显的差异(尤其是波数1)。在冬季,平流层中,阿留申地区上空半永久性的反气旋仅在有山的情况下才能模拟出来。这表明地形对于平流层大气环流的影响是很大的。另外还详细研究了热带平流层中各种波型铅直传播的特点。有两种波型是一样的;即以5天左右为周期的混合型罗斯贝—重力波和以15天左右为周期的开尔文波。这些波动随高度的倾斜和观测事实是十分一致的,这表明了在模式中热带平流层的波动能量的铅直输送也是向上的。关于在平流层中动量平衡和能量学的详细分析将在第二部分描述。
