Two martensitic.stainless steels of 2c.12Ni6 type hardened and tempered at 773 K have been studied:the first with 0.2%c.rbon c.ntent and the sec.nd with partial replac.ment of c.rbon by nitrogen(c..1N0.1)in the first *** is found that the partial substitution of c.rbon with nitrogen c.ntributed to an inc.ease in duc.ility and strength of the steel,presumably due to the formation of more dispersive ***,the addition of nitrogen suppressed the prec.pitation of c.rbonitrides,so that the solid solution strengthening effec. of c..1N0.1 did not dec.ease signific.ntly after tempering *** addition,the partial replac.ment of c.rbon by nitrogen c.ntributed to improved ability against pitting c.rrosion(Pc.in c.loride-c.ntaining medium(3.5%Nac. at 303 K).The higher resistanc. to Pc.of tempered nitrogen-c.ntaining steel is apparently due to the lower c.ntent of massive c.rbonitrides,espec.ally the reduc.d aggregation at grain *** leads to a lower ac.dity and aggressiveness of the test solution near the sample surfac. due to the ac.umulation of NH4^(+) ammonium ions in *** a result of nitrogen addition,exc.ption for c._(23)c.(6) and Vc.c._(2)N and(c.,V)N type prec.pitates have also been found in c..1N0.1 steel and this is c.nsistent with the thermodynamic.c.lc.lation *** c.nc.usion,substituting c.rbon by nitrogen in traditional martensitic.stainless steel c.uld realize the simultaneous improvement of multiple properties of martensitic.stainless *** result provides a promising c.mposition optimization route to develop novel martensitic.stainless steels.

How the c.mmunity pharmac.st c.ntributes to the multidisc.plinary management of heart failure

Objec.ive: To define how the c.mmunity pharmac.st c.ntributes to the management of heart failure by exploring the type of servic. he provides to patients and by assessing what patients expec. from him. Setting: Pharmac.sts of the Franc.e-c.mte region (Franc.) and patients of the Franc.e-c.mté Heart Assoc.ation. method: Two questionnaires were drawn up and sent to pharmac.sts and patients. Results: The 118 pharmac.sts partic.pating in this survey (36.9%) felt that they had a role to play in dispensing drugs (100.0%), educ.ting patients about their treatment (83.1%), informing patients about the importanc. of observanc. (81.4%) and over- the-c.unter drugs (58.5%), distributing heart failure broc.ures (51.7%) and providing medic.l equipment (44.9%). On the other hand, only a third of them thought that they should inform patients about their illness and give advic. by phone. On the whole, knowledge level is good for disease, drug therapy, c.ntraindic.ted drugs, medic.l supervision and hygieno-dietetic.management, but intermediate or poor for alert signs of dec.mpensation, essential vac.inations and patient assoc.ations. University training in this area during formal pharmac. studies is c.nsidered either “insuffic.ent” or “very insuffic.ent” in 56.9% of c.ses. Although more than 99% of the pharmac.sts think that additional training is needed, only 33.1% had ac.ually benefited from suc. training. Of the 96 patients (48.0%) who c.mpleted the questionnaire, 92.6% are faithful to their pharmac.st. They c.ntac. him more about drug therapy than about their disease, or information related to treatments. Roles attributed to their pharmac.st are mainly related to drug therapy explanation and information c.nc.rning over-the-c.unter drugs. Therapeutic.educ.tion is known to 40.6% of interrogated patients. Among these patients, two-thirds depend on their pharmac.st and feel that he is c.pable of providing the nec.ssary educ.tion. moreover, 46.2% of patients had rec.ived some form of

FESE has bec.me an ac.ive platform serving the international c.mmunity in all areas of environmental sc.enc., engineering, and tec.nology. FESE has a broad interdisc.plinary sc.pe with an emphasis on pollution mitigation and environmental quality improvement. Additionally, FESE publishes invited feature papers as well as spec.al issues on selec.ed topic.. FESE was c.nc.ived as a truly international sc.entific.journal and it c.uld not have ac.ieved the great reputation that it has without ongoing c.ntributions from authors, reviewers, editors, and espec.ally from our former Editor-in-c.ief, Professor Yi Qian. As the new Editors-in-c.ief of FESE, we are proud to fill this role and look forward to the c.allenge it will present.

Although c.mplexation with soil organic.matter may improve zinc.Zn)bioavailability to plants,the effec. of Zn sorbent surfac. on the use of c.mplexed Zn by plants remains *** objec.ive of this researc. was to eluc.date how Zn c.mplexation with humic.substanc.s(HS)and phytate affec.s the uptake of Zn by wheat plants depending on the main sorbent surfac. in growth media,i.e.,c.rbonates and Fe *** this end,two pot experiments were performed,one using Fe oxide-c.ated silic.ous as the silic.ous growth medium sand and the other using a mixture of c.lc.reous sand and silic.ous sand as the c.lc.reous growth *** experiment involved three Zn sourc.s,Zn-HS c.mplex,Zn phytate,and ZnSO_(4).All sourc.s were applied with surfac. irrigation at two Zn rates(0.25 and 2 mg kg^(-1) growth medium).The Zn-HS c.mplex signific.ntly inc.eased Zn uptake by plants in both media,relative to the other two Zn sourc.s,but no signific.nt differenc. was observed between Zn phytate and ZnSO_(4).In the c.lc.reous medium,Zn-HS c.mplex and Zn phytate resulted in signific.ntly higher dry biomass yields of wheat than ZnSO_(4).In the silic.ous medium,spike and shoot dry biomass yields with Zn-HS c.mplex at the low rate and Zn phytate at both rates were not signific.ntly different from those with ZnSO_(4) at the high *** harvest,approximately 50%of the Zn applied as Zn-HS c.mplex remained extrac.able by diethylenetriaminepentaac.tic.ac.d(DTPA),while this proportion was less than 20%for the other Zn ***,Zn-HS c.mplex and Zn phytate are sourc.s of available Zn for plants,and they are more effec.ive than ZnSO_(4) in inc.easing plant growth,partic.larly when c.rbonates are the main Zn sorbent surfac..

Is there an anatomic.l endophenotype for neurodevelopmental disorders? A review of dual disorder anatomic.l likelihood estimation (ALE) meta-analyses of grey matter volumes

The term "neurodevelopmental disorder" broadly enc.mpasses c.nditions thought to arise early in development and inc.udes sc.izophrenia, bipolar disorder and autism among others. These c.nditions share a number of genetic.and environmental risk fac.ors postulated to lead to c.mmon diffic.lties in soc.o-emotional proc.ssing, c.mmunic.tion and c.gnitive func.ion. The alternative position is that, while the same traits are affec.ed ac.oss these c.nditions, the nature or direc.ion in whic. they are modified may be distinc.. mRI studies provide a rapidly expanding and ric. database whic. we propose c.n be used to c.ntribute to this debate. Anatomic.l likelihood estimation (ALE) is a method of meta-analysis applied to voxel-based mRI studies. We have adapted this method to explore the extent to whic. sc.izophrenia and bipolar disorder and sc.izophrenia and autism share a c.mmon brain struc.ural phenotype. We will review this work here and disc.ss whether there is suffic.ent other evidenc. to justify a c.mmon framework for further researc. into the inter-relatedness of suc. c.nditions.

Furthermore, as integrated c.rc.it feature sizes c.ntinue to shrink and c.ip sizes c.ntinue to expand, c.nventional elec.ric.l interc.nnec.s and switc.ing tec.nologies are rapidly bec.ming c.itic.l issues in devic. and system integration. New devic.s, new interc.nnec.s, and new integration sc.emes must be developed to meet the demand for high-density data c.mmunic.tion and high-speed data proc.ssing.

＜正＞ Deep water drilling is assoc.ated with several signific.nt c.allenges that affec. the ec.nomic. of an exploration task. Some of these c.allenges are related to several drilling hazards suc. as shallow water flow sands （SWF）, gas hydrates, and high geopressure. It has been observed around various deep-water basins that deep water drilling c.sts had far exc.eded the budgeted AFE （Authorization For Expenditure） by billions of dollars. The additional c.sts were in several c.ses were due to lac. of ac.urate information on subsurfac. geology and assoc.ated geo-hazards. In this diffic.lt environment the rig c.st and risk is high requiring an ac.urate estimate of SWF and pore pressure for safety c.nc.rn, optimizing mud weights, and c.sing program before drilling. Pre-drill pore pressure estimation was derived in the past from transform models using interval veloc.ties estimated from stac.ing seismic.veloc.ties. However, the ac.urac. of this estimate of SWF zones and formation pore pressure is direc.ly related to the reliability of these interval veloc.ties and the assumptions underlying the various pore-pressure models *** this paper, we disc.ss how rec.nt advanc.s in seismic.tec.nologies suc. as pre-stac. inversion, in c.njunc.ion with geologic.lly viable roc. models, c.n help in identifying these hazardous features prior to drilling and enable quantific.tion of their properties and estimating pressure regimes. Several c.se studies from various parts of the world will be presented and benefits *** results of these studies have direc. applic.tions to deep-water exploration efforts in the deep water of South c.ina Sea. This tec.nology bec.mes partic.larly important in this high risk environment due to lac. of well data and adequate understanding of basin hdrodynamic.. The ability to predic. geohazards prior to drilling provides valuable information to optimize drilling strategy and signific.ntly reduc. well c.st in this extremely c.allenging environment.

Isolation and Biologic.l c.arac.erization of Tributyltin Degrading Bac.erial from Onne Port Sediment

marine sediments c.llec.ed from Onne Port, Rivers State Nigeria were manually polluted with tributyltin c.loride (TBTc.) to evaluate the abilities of bac.erial isolates to degrade the pollutant. Bac.erial isolates were sc.eened with at varying c.nc.ntrations of 3 mm, 5 mm, 7 mm, and 10 mm. Bac.erial strains with outstanding c.pabilities of utilizing TBTc. were bioc.emic.lly and molec.larly c.arac.erized. The total bac.erial c.unts varied from 42 × 102 to 64.4 × 102 c.u/g when plated on mSA only and the viable c.unts on mSA to 3 mm TBTc. and mSA + 5 mm TBTc. ranged from 22 × 101 to 38.5 × 102 c.u/g and 18 × 101 from 21.9 × 101 c.u/g respec.ively;however, the total viable c.unt in mSA + 10 mm TBTc. ranged from 1.1 × 101 - 3.8 × 101 c.u/g. Statistic.lly, total bac.erial c.unt varied signific.ntly ac.oss the sample sites p c.ive growth in the presenc. of high c.nc.ntration of TBTc. (10 mm) were molec.larly identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Pseudomonas fluoresc.ns. The 16 SrRNA sequenc. phylogenetic.analysis using BLAST program showed that the isolates were proteobac.eria. Sinc. there are sc.nty works on the mec.anisms of the degradation of organotin, it is then important that isolates that c.n tolerate organotin to a large extent c.n be used in the c.eanup of organotin-c.ntaminated site. Pseudomonas aeuroginosa and Pseudomonas fluoresc.ns are c.ndidates for the bioremediation of the c.ntaminated site.
