Forced and damped oscillators appear in the mathematical modelling of many problems in pure and applied sciences such as physics, engineering and celestial mechanics among others. Although the accuracy of the T-functions series method is high, the calculus of their coefficients needs specific recurrences in each case. To avoid this inconvenience, the T-functions series method is transformed into a multistep method whose coefficients are calculated using recurrence procedures. These methods are convergent and have the same properties to the T-functions series method. Numerical examples already used by other authors are presented, such as a stiff problem, a Duffing oscillator and an equatorial satellite problem when the perturbation comes from zonal harmonics J2.

The community La Llave, Queretaro state, mexico, has not been identified by the sanitary authorities as living in a hazard area related to dental fluorosis. However;a high concentration of fluoride is found in their drinking water causing them dental fluorosis. Physical-chemical analysis was carried out in the groundwater sources to determine the prevalence of dental fluorosis risk and caries accordingly to criteria of The World Health Organization, and 154 school children of ages 10 to 13 years were examined. As a result, 1.9 mg/L of fluorine concentration in drinking water was obtained;dental fluorosis presence was detected in the school children with an incidence of about 98%, in 47% of cases severe fluorosis with a dental caries index of 3.06 was traced. The groundwater sources in La Llave community contains fluorine above the limits dictated by mexican regulations, producing serious repercussions on the health of school children, with an unnaturally high incidence of dental fluorosis.

The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency of emerging parasites in two groups of immunosuppressed patients, including individuals infected with the human immunodeficiency virus (AIDs) (HIV) or having acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) with or without diarrhea. stool samples were collected from 96 HIV and 77 ALL patients from march 2010 through December 2011. screening for opportunistic parasites was carried out by the coproparasitoscopic Faust method, Ziehl Neelsen staining, and Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). Results showed that 22.9% of HIV fecal samples were positive for emerging parasites, including Cryptosporidium spp. (7.3%), microsporidium spp. (5.2%), Isospora belli (1.0%), Giardia intestinalis (2.6%), and Cyclospora spp. (7.3%). On the other hand, 32.5% of ALL fecal samples were positive for emerging parasites, including Cryptosporidium spp. (9.1%), microsporidium spp. (19.5%), Isospora belli (1.3%), and Giardia intestinalis (2.6%). Our results highlighted the need for specific, efficient, and reliable diagnostic methods to identify the presence of emerging parasites in immunocompromised patients susceptible to different infectious diseases or neoplastic processes and avoid the consequences for the host as an increased disease rate, alterations in the clinical manifestation of the infection or even exacerbation of its course.
