With the integration of ultrafast reflectivity and polarimetry probes,we observed carrier relaxation and spin dynamics induced by ultrafast laser excitation of Ni(111)single *** carrier relaxation time within the linear excitation range reveals that electron-phonon coupling and dissipation of photon energy into the bulk of the crystal take tens of *** the other hand,the observed spin dynamics indicate a longer time of about 120 *** further understand how the lattice degree of freedom is coupled with these dynamics may require the integration of an ultrafast diffraction probe.

In a more recent paper, the second author has introduced a space ｜Cα｜k as the set of all series by absolute summable using Cesaro matrix of order α 〉 -1. In the present paper we extend it to the absolute NSrlund space ｜Np^θ｜k taking Norlund matrix in place of Cesaro matrix, and also examine some topological structures, α-β-γ-duals and the Schauder base of this space. Further we characterize certain matrix operators on that space and determine their operator norms, and so extend some well-known results.

The low temperature aging behavior of polycrystalline tetragonal zirconia was investigated to explore the effects on phase transformation occurring during the process. XRD analysis was conducted for the phase identification and the tetragonal to monoclinic phase transformation was determined. The aging of tetragonal zirconia polycrystals doped with 3 mol% Y203 triggers tetragonal to monoclinic phase transformation on the surface of the specimen only, while the penetration inside the bulk of the specimen is very limited. A slight decrease in the mechanical properties was also observed after aging for 40 h. The transformation kinetics show a nucleation and growth mechanism on the specimen surface to be dominant in the low temperature aging in water environment.

Copper sulfide thin films are deposited onto different substrates at room temperature using the thermal evaporation technique. X-ray diffraction spectra show that the film has an orthorhombicchalcocite （7-Cu2S） phase. The atomic force microscopy images indicate that the film exhibits nanoparticles with an average size of nearly 44 nm. Specrtophotometric measurements for the transmittance and reflectance are carried out at normal incidence in a spectral wavelength range of 450 nm-2500 nm. The refractive index, n, as well as the absorption index, k is calculated. Some dispersion parameters are determined. The analyses of el and e2 reveal several absorption peaks. The analysis of the spectral behavior of the absorption coefficient, c~, in the absorption region reveals direct and indirect allowed transitions. The dark electrical resistivity is studied as a function of film thickness and temperature. Tellier＇s model is adopted for determining the mean free path and bulk resistance.

A series of Ni0.6-x/2Zn0.4-x/2SnxFe2O4(x = 0.0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, and 0.3)(NZSFO) ferrite composities have been synthesized from nano powders using a standard solid state reaction technique. The spinel cubic structure of the investigated samples has been confirmed by x-ray diffraction(XRD). The magnetic properties such as saturation magnetization(ms),remanent magnetization(mr), coercive field(Hc), and Bohr magneton(μ) are calculated from the hysteresis loops. The value of msis found to decrease with increasing Sn content in the samples. This change is successfully explained by the variation of A-B interaction strength due to Sn substitution in different sites. The compositional stability and quality of the prepared ferrite composites have also been endorsed by the fairly constant initial permeability(μ’) over a wide range of frequency. The decreasing trend of μ’ with increasing Sn content has been observed. Curie temperature TChas been found to increase with the increase in Sn content. A wide spread frequency utility zone indicates that the NZSFO can be considered as a good candidate for use in broadband pulse transformers and wide band read-write heads for video recording. The composition of x = 0.05 shows unusual results and the possible reason is also mentioned with the established formalism.

For the first time,the mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4)(ratio 4:1)destabilized system with CoTiO_(3) addition has been *** CoTiO_(3)-doped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) sample begins to dehydrogenate at 130℃,which is declined by 40℃ compared to the undoped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4).moreover,the de/rehydrogenation kinetics characteristics of the CoTiO_(3)-doped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) were greatly *** the inclusion of CoTiO_(3),the mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) composite absorbed 5.2 wt.%H_(2),higher than undoped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4).In the context of dehydrogenation,the CoTiO_(3)-doped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) sample desorbed 2.6 wt.%H_(2),almost doubled compared to the amount of hydrogen desorbed from the undoped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) *** activation energy obtained by the Kissinger analysis for mgH_(2) decomposition was significantly lower by 35.9 kJ/mol than the undoped mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) *** reaction mechanism demonstrated that new phases of mgCo and AlTi_(3) were generated in situ during the heating process and are likely to play a substantial catalytic function and be useful in ameliorating the de/rehydrogenation properties of the destabilized mgH_(2)–NaAlH_(4) system with the inclusion of CoTiO_(3).

This paper reports the realization of planar Schottky diodes based on nanorod ZnO thin *** nanorod ZnO thin film was fabricated by hydrothermal technique on boron doped p-type Si(100)*** Ag//ZnO/Al planar diode operating with voltage bias from–3 to 3 *** I–V characteristics clearly indicate that the devices have rectifying *** thermionic emission theory governs the current across the studied Schottky *** device achieved a turn-on voltage of 0.9 V,barrier height 0.69 e V and saturation current of 1.2×10^(–6)*** diode shows a very large ideality factor(n>>2)which is attributed to high interface trap *** surface topology was investigated by scanning electron microscope(SEm).The structural properties of the nanostructured ZnO thin film were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD).The SEm images reveal that the ZnO nanorods grow perpendicular to the substrate with uniformity and high *** XRD pattern illustrates the dominant peak appearing at(002).This intense peak indicates the c-axis orientated phase of the wurtzite ZnO *** demonstrates that the crystals grow uniformly perpendicular to the substrate surface in good agreement with the SEm images.

A number of geotechnical analyses were carried out on selected carbonate rock samples from eight sites located in Egypt. This analysis was to assess the suitability of these rocks for building construction aggregate. The analyses included properties of uniaxial compressive strength, tensile strength, porosity, water absorption, and dynamic fragmentation. The success of building construction depends to a large extent on the availability of raw materials at affordable prices. Raw materials commonly used in the building industry include sands, gravels, clays and clay-derived products. Despite the widespread occurrence of carbonate rocks throughout Egypt, the low premium placed on their direct application in the building sector may be explained in two ways: firstly, the lack of awareness of the potential uses of carbonate rocks in the building construction industry(beyond the production of asbestos, ceiling boards, roof sheets and Portland cement); and secondly, the aesthetic application of carbonate rocks in the building construction depends mainly on their physical attributes, a knowledge of which is generally restricted to within the confines of research laboratories and industries. Thus this paper addresses the physical and mechanical characteristics of some Egyptian carbonate rocks, evaluating them for their suitability as building construction aggregates.

Hydrodynamic Assessment of A New Nature-Based Armour Unit on Rubble mound Breakwater for Coastal Protection

This research proposes a novel nature-based design of a new concrete armour unit for the cover layer of a rubblemoundbreakwater. Armour units are versatile with respect to shape, orientation, surface condition details, and ***, a detailed analysis is required to investigate the exact state of their hydraulic interactions and structuralresponses. In this regard, the performance results of several traditional armour units, including the Antifer cube,Tetrapod, X-block and natural stone, are considered for the first step of this study. Then, the related observed resultsare compared with those obtained for a newly designed (artificial coral) armour unit. The research methodology utilizesthe common wave flume test procedure. Furthermore, several verified numerical models in OpenFOAm code areused to gain the extra required data. The proposed armour is configured to provide an effective shore protection as anenvironmental-friendly coastal structure. Thus it is designed with a main trunk including deep grooves to imitate thetypical geometry of a coral type configuration, so as to attain desirable performance. The observed results and ananalytic hierarchy process (AHP) concept are used to compare the hydraulic performance of the studied traditionaland newly proposed (artificial coral) armour units. The results indicate that the artificial coral armour unit demonstratesacceptable performance. The widely used traditional armour units might be replaced by newer designs for betterwave energy dissipation, and more importantly, for fewer adverse effects on the marine environment.
