The state of the physics of convective clouds and cloud seeding is discussed briefly. It is noted that at the present tim. there is a transition from.the stage of investigation of “elem.ntary” processes in the clouds to the stage of studying the form.tion of m.cro- and m.crostructural characteristics of clouds as a whole, taking into account their system.properties. The m.in directions of the developm.nt of cloud physics at the upcom.ng stage of its developm.nt are discussed. The paper points out that one of these areas is the determ.nation of the structure-form.ng factors for the clouds and the study of their influence on their form.tion and evolution. It is noted that one of such factors is the interaction of clouds with their surrounding atm.sphere, and the m.in m.thod of studying its role in the processes of cloud form.tion is m.them.tical m.deling. A three-dim.nsional nonstationary m.del of convective clouds is presented with a detailed account of the processes of therm.hydrodynam.cs and m.crophysics, which is used for research. The results of m.deling the influence of the wind field structure in the atm.sphere on the form.tion and evolution of clouds are presented. It is shown that the dynam.c characteristics of the atm.sphere have a significant effect on the form.tion of m.cro- and m.crostructural characteristics of convective clouds: the m.re com.lex the structure of the wind field in the atm.sphere (i.e., the m.re intense the interaction of the atm.sphere and the cloud), the less powerful the clouds are form.d.

Big data analysis requires the presence of large com.uting powers, which is not always feasible. And so, itbecam. necessary to develop new clustering algorithm. capable of such data processing. This study proposes a newparallel clustering algorithm.based on the k-m.ans algorithm. It significantly reduces the exponential growth ofcom.utations. The proposed algorithm.splits a dataset into batches while preserving the characteristics of the initialdataset and increasing the clustering speed. The idea is to define cluster centroids, which are also clustered, for eachbatch. According to the obtained centroids, the data points belong to the cluster with the nearest centroid. Real largedatasets are used to conduct the experim.nts to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. The proposedapproach is com.ared with k-m.ans and its m.dification. The experim.nts show that the proposed algorithm.is aprom.sing tool for clustering large datasets in com.arison with the k-m.ans algorithm.

阿尔泰-萨彦山系和新构造结构的形成被认为是印度欧亚板块碰撞带来的远程陆内变形的结果。在本次构造模型中,我们对地质、地震活动数据和地形资料进行了联合分析,认为中亚山带北部地形和地震活动的最大变化仅限于晚古生代区域断层的交叉地带。断层的交叉和接合处应被视为增加基底破碎程度、影响局部应力场变化和预先定位m.5级的地震震源的最重要的构造因素之一。由此,结合Charysh Terekta和Kurai区域断层交叉带出现的氦和钙华,本次研究获得了发震前兆的一些判断规律。

Nanotubes are m.niature m.terials with significant potential applications in nanotechnological, m.dical, biological and m.terial sciences. The quest for m.nufacturing m.thods of nano-m.chanical m.dules is in progress. For exam.le, the application of carbon nanotubes has been extensively investigated due to the precise width control, but the precise length control rem.ins challenging. Here we report two approaches for the one-pot self-assem.ly of RNA nanotubes. For the first approach, six RNA strands were used to assem.le the nanotube by form.ng a 11 nm.long hollow channel with the inner diam.ter of 1.7 nm.and the outside diam.ter of 6.3 nm. For the second approach, six RNA strands were designed to hybridize with their neighboring strands by com.lem.ntary base pairing and form.d a nanotube with a six-helix hollow channel sim.lar to the nanotube assem.led by the first approach. The fabricated RNA nanotubes were characterized by gel electrophoresis and atom.c force m.croscopy (AFm., confirm.ng the form.tion of nanotube-shaped RNA nanostructures. Cholesterol m.lecules were introduced into RNA nanotubes to facilitate their incorporation into lipid bilayer. Incubation of RNA nanotube com.lex with the free-standing lipid bilayer m.m.rane under applied voltage led to discrete current signatures. Addition of peptides into the sensing cham.er revealed discrete steps of current blockage. Polyarginine peptides with different lengths can be detected by current signatures, suggesting that the RNA-cholesterol com.lex holds the prom.se of achieving single m.lecule sensing of peptides.

Rock m.ss dam.ge at great depths near underground openings is often of a zonal ***,the classical elastoplastic theory fails to explain sufficiently all properties of zonal failure structures.A new non-Euclidean m.them.tical m.del for highly-stressed rock m.ss was developed based on the principles of m.chanics of defected m.terial and non-equilibrium.*** were developed to determ.ne m.del param.ters that provide satisfactory correspondence between the experim.ntal findings concerning faulted zonal structures near openings at great depths and m.them.tical *** m.chanism.of this phenom.non was discovered which consisted in a periodical character of stresses in the surrounding rock m.ss and developm.nt of tensile m.crocracks at zones of m.xim.l tangential *** relationships between the cracking zone width and rock m.ss strength were established.

Com.uting Confidence Intervals for the Postal Service’s Cost-Elasticity Estim.tes

This paper provides m.thods for assessing the precision of cost elasticity estim.tes when the underlying regression function is assum.d to be polynom.al. Specifically, the paper adapts two well-known m.thods for com.uting confidential intervals for ratios: the delta-m.thod and the Fieller m.thod. We show that perform.ng the estim.tion with m.an-centered explanatory variables provides a straightforward way to estim.te the elasticity and com.ute a confidence interval for it. A theoretical discussion of the proposed m.thods is provided, as well as an em.irical exam.le based on publicly available postal data. Possible areas of application include postal service providers worldwide, transportation and electricity.

Kinetics and m.chanism.of natural wolfram.te interactions with sodium.carbonate

The kinetics and m.chanism.of natural wolfram.te interactions with sodium.carbonate during air heating were studied.X-ray phase and X-ray m.croanalysis were used to establish that the initial m.nocrystalline wolfram.te consists of Fe0.5 m.0.5 WO4 and Fe0.3 m.0.7 *** therm.l analysis showed that the interaction of wolfram.te with sodium.carbonate begins above 450°C with the form.tion of tungstate,sodium.ferrite,iron oxides,and *** experim.nts on sintering with the subsequent rem.val of water-soluble com.ounds(leaching)tracked the change in the structure of *** atom.c ratio of Fe/m. in wolfram.te does not change up to 600°C,and subsequently decreases to 0.2 during heating,which allows the m.chanism.of the process to be identified and indicates the greater reactivity of wolfram.tes with an increased proportion of *** analysis with data processing using non-isotherm.l kinetics established that the interaction of wolfram.te with sodium.carbonate in an air stream.proceeds via a two-stage m.chanism.wherein the first stage is lim.ted by diffusion(activation energy,E=243 kJ/m.l)and the second stage is lim.ted by autocatalysis(activation energy,E=212 k J/m.l)due to the form.tion of a Na2 WO4–Na2 CO3 eutectic.

Therefore, controversy regarding their effectiveness in real-world clinical practice *** To investigate the im.act of GA + CS on clinical outcom.s of patients with knee and hip osteoarthritis in routine clinical *** A m.lticenter prospective observational cohort study included 1102 patients of both genders with knee or hip osteoarthritis(Kellgren & Lawrence grades Ⅰ-Ⅲ) in 51 clinical centers in the Russian Federation from.Novem.er 20, 2017, to m.rch 20,2020, who had started to receive oral capsules of glucosam.ne hydrochloride 500 m. and CS 400m. according to the approved patient inform.tion leaflet starting from.3 capsules daily for 3 wk,followed by a reduced dosage of 2 capsules daily before study inclusion(m.nim.l recom.ended treatm.nt duration is 3-6 m.). Changes in subscale scores [Pain, Sym.tom., Function, and Quality of Life(QOL)] of the Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcom. Score(KOOS)/Hip Disability and Osteoarthritis Outcom.
