Independent manipulation of transmitted and reflected light fields is a key technology for the realization of multifunctional optical applications,which can be implemented based on multilayered plasmonic or supercell subwavelength ***,the former is not suitable for the optical bands,while the latter is insufficient in generating large phase ***,an adjoint-optimization-based inverse design methodology is proposed,which utilizes the polarization-selective local interference between individual meta-atoms and enables monolayer dielectric metasurfaces to decouple the wavefront of transmitted and reflected optical ***,this methodology serves to mitigate the aperiodic electromagnetic crosstalk inherent between adjacent meta-atoms,consequently leading to a significant enhancement in the performance of *** analyzed the physical mechanism of adjoint optimization and proposed the concept of phase factors,highlighting their importance in the rapid inverse design of meta-devices—an aspect often overlooked in previous *** demonstrate the feasibility and robustness of our method,we optimize monolayer metasurfaces with different initial *** devices efficiently focus and deflect x-linearly and y-linearly polarized incident light in transmission and reflection spaces,***,this methodology holds immense potential for designing multifunctional,high-performing metasurfaces that meet multiple constraints,opening up broad prospects for applications.

Catenary optics enables metasurfaces with higher efficiency and wider bandwidth,and is highly anticipated in the imaging system,super-resolution lithography,and broadband ***,the periodic boundary approximation without considering aperiodic electromagnetic crosstalk poses challenges for catenary optical devices to reach their performance ***,perfect control of both local geometric and propagation phases is realized through field-driven optimization,in which the field distribution is calculated under real boundary *** from other optimization methods requiring a mass of iterations,the proposed design method requires less than ten iterations to get the efficiency close to the optimal *** on the library of shape-optimized catenary structures,centimeter-scale devices can be designed in ten seconds,with the performance improved by ~15%.Furthermore,this method has the ability to extend catenary-like continuous structures to arbitrary polarization,including both linear and elliptical polarizations,which is difficult to achieve with traditional design *** provides a way for the development of catenary optics and serves as a potent tool for constructing high-performance optical devices.

Large-area AgNWs electrodes(25 cm×10 cm)were fabricated through roll-to-roll printing on the polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)modified water and oxygen barrier *** modification of the barrier film with PVA improved the wettability of silver nanowires on the barrier films and led to the formation of homogenous large-area AgNWs *** mechanical flexibility,especially the adhesion force between the silver electrode and the barrier film substrate was dramatically improved through PVA *** efficiency of 13.51%for the flexible OSCs with an area of 0.64 cm2 was achieved based on the PET/barrier film/PVA/AgNWs *** long-term stability showed the flexible OSCs based on the PET/barrier film/PVA/AgNWs electrode have a significantly improved stability relative to the device on PET/AgNWs electrode,and comparable air stability as the rigid device with glass/ITO *** unencapsulated devices maintained nearly 50%of the original efficiency after storage for 600 h in *** a simple top encapsulation,the flexible devices remained at 60%of the initial efficiency after 2000 h in the ***,the flexible AgNWs electrode based on the barrier film would have the potential to improve the air storage stability of organic flexible solar cells.

Autonomous underwater vehicles(AUVs)have various applications in both military and civilian fields.A wider operation area and more complex tasks require better overall range performance of ***,until recently,there have been few unified criteria for evaluating the range performance of *** the present work,a unified range index,i.e.,L^(*),considering the cruising speed,the sailing distance,and the volume of an AUV,is proposed for the first time,which can overcome the shortcomings of previous criteria using merely one single parameter,and provide a uniform criterion for the overall range performance of various *** constructing the expression of the L^(*)index,the relevant data of 49 AUVs from 12 countries worldwide have been collected,and the characteristics of the L^(*)range index in different countries and different categories were compared and ***,by analyzing the complex factors affecting the range index,methods to enhance the L^(*)range index value,such as efficiency enhancement and drag reduction,have been introduced and *** this condition,the work proposes a unified and scientific criterion for evaluating the range performance of AUVs for the first time,provides valuable theoretical insight for the development of AUVs with higher performance,and then arouses more attention to the application of the cutting-edge superlubricity technology to the field of underwater vehicles,which might greatly help to accelerate the coming of the era of the superlubricitive engineering.

Superlubricity control is of great interest in both industry and scientific research,and several methods have been proposed to achieve this *** this work,ultraviolet(UV)light was introduced into titanium dioxide(TiO_(2))and silicon nitride(Si_(3)N_(4))tribosystems to accomplish photoinduced *** friction coefficients(COFs)between Si_(3)N_(4) balls and TiO_(2) plates in the mixtures of sulfuric acid(H^(2)SO_(4))solution and glycerol solution were obviously reduced,and the system entered the superlubricity region(COF1)after UV illumination at a speed of 56 mm/***,the COF was much larger without UV treatment than that with UV *** formation of silica(SiO_(2))layers on the surfaces of Si_(3)N_(4) balls and the elastohydrodynamic effects were determined to be fundamental to the low friction in this experiment,and the enhancement of the combination between the TiO_(2) surface and the hydroxy group of glycerol by UV illumination was the key to the photoinduced superlubricity in this *** findings showed one method for achieving superlubricity by introducing a light field that could be further applied to special working conditions.

Chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)is a complex syndrome in which long-term chronic inflammatory stimulation causes gland atrophy in the gastric mucosa,reducing the stomach's ability to secrete gastric juice and pepsin,and interfering with its normal physiological *** pathogenic factors contribute to CAG incidence,the most common being Helicobacter pylori infection and the immune reactions resulting from gastric ***,CAG has a broad spectrum of clinical manifestations,including gastroenterology and extraintestinal symptoms and signs,such as hematology,neurology,and ***,the initial CAG evaluation should involve the examination of clinical and serological indicators,as well as diagnosis confirmation via gastroscopy and histopathology if *** on the severity and scope of atrophy affecting the gastric mucosa,a histologic staging system(Operative Link for Gastritis Assessment or Operative Link on Gastritis intestinal metaplasia)could also be ***,chronic gastritis has a higher risk of progressing to gastric cancer(GC).In this regard,early diagnosis,treatment,and regular testing could reduce the risk of GC in CAG ***,the optimal interval for endoscopic monitoring in CAG patients remains uncertain,and it should ideally be tailored based on individual risk evaluations and shared decision-making *** there have been many reports on CAG,the precise etiology and histopathological features of the disease,as well as the diagnosis of CAG patients,are yet to be fully ***,this review offers a detailed account of CAG,including its key clinical aspects,aiming to enhance the overall understanding of the disease.

The interactions between lignin oligomers and solvents determine the behaviors of lignin oligomers self-assembling into uniform lignin nanoparticles(LNPs).Herein,several alcohol solvents,which readily interact with the lignin oligomers,were adopted to study their effects during solvent shifting process for LNPs’*** lignin oligomers with widely distributed molecular weight and abundant guaiacyl units were extracted from wood waste(mainly consists of pine wood),exerting outstanding self-assembly *** and spherical LNPs were generated in H_(2)O-n-propanol cosolvent,whereas irregular LNPs were obtained in H_(2)O-methanol *** unsatisfactory self-assembly performance of the lignin oligomers in H_(2)O-methanol cosolvent could be attributed to two *** one hand,for the initial dissolution state,the distinguishing Hansen solubility parameter and polarity between methanol solvent and lignin oligomers resulted in the poor dispersion of the lignin *** the other hand,strong hydrogen bonds between methanol solvent and lignin oligomers during solvent shifting process,hindered the interactions among the lignin oligomers for self-assembly.

The widespread adoption of blockchain technology has led to the exploration of its numerous applications in various *** algorithms and smart contracts are critical components of blockchain *** the benefits of virtual currency,vulnerabilities in smart contracts have resulted in substantial losses to *** researchers have identified these vulnerabilities and developed tools for detecting them,the accuracy of these tools is still far from satisfactory,with high false positive and false negative *** this paper,we propose a new method for detecting vulnerabilities in smart contracts using the BERT pre-training model,which can quickly and effectively process and detect smart *** specifically,we preprocess and make symbol substitution in the contract,which can make the pre-training model better obtain contract *** evaluate our method on four datasets and compare its performance with other deep learning models and vulnerability detection tools,demonstrating its superior accuracy.

Owing to limited observations,it remains unknown whether the impact of El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO)on the Indian Ocean-Northwest Pacific(IO-NWP)climate showed decadal changes in the early 20th *** multi-source reanalysis and hindcast datasets from the ECMWF and NOAA extending back to 1901,this study investigates interdecadal variations of the impact of ENSO on the IO-NWP climate from 1901 to *** is found that the influence of ENSO on the IO-NWP climate shows“strong-weak-strong”interdecadal change during *** is characterized by much weaker Indian Ocean sea surface temperature(SST)warming and a weaker NWP subtropical anticyclone(NWPSA)in the following summer of El Ni?o during 1946-1967,compared with those in the other two periods(1901-1945 and 1968-2009).Analyses of the datasets indicate that the interdecadal variation is mainly associated with the change in ENSO *** contrast to the period of 1946-1967,a greater SST variance occurred in the central-eastern equatorial Pacific during 1901-1945 and 1968-2009.A stronger El Ni?o tends to generate more significant anticyclonic anomalies over the southeast Indian Ocean through *** northwesterly anomalies to the south of the anticyclone weaken the southeast trade winds and warm the south Indian Ocean SST via wind-evaporation-SST feedback,and the positive south Indian Ocean SST anomalies trigger westward-propagating oceanic Rossby waves to induce stronger warming of the southwest Indian Ocean,leading to a significant asymmetric wind pattern across the equator in *** profound northeastward winds on the north side weaken the southwest monsoon,leading to a“second warming”over the north Indian Ocean in summer,which anchors the eastward-propagating warm Kelvin waves and results in a stronger NWPSA by inducing surface divergence and suppressing deep convection.
