BACKGROUND The Da Vinci robot-assisted surgery technique has been widely used in laparo-scopic mesangectomy for rectal ***,the short-term efficacy of these procedures compared to traditional laparoscopic surgery remains *** purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the short-and medium-term efficacy of Da Vinci robot and laparoscopic surgery in total mesangectomy(TME)for rectal cancer,so as to provide guidance and reference for clinical *** To investigate the safety and long-term efficacy of robotic and laparoscopic total mesorectal resection for the treatment of rectal *** The clinicopathologic data of 240 patients who underwent TME for rectal cancer in the Anorectal Department of People’s Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from August 2018 to March 2023 were retrospectively *** them,112 patients underwent laparoscopic TME(L-TME)group,and 128 patients underwent robotic TME(R-TME)*** intraoperative,postoperative,and follow-up conditions of the two groups were *** The conversion rate of the L-TME group was greater than that of the R-TME group(5.4%vs 0.8%,χ^(2)=4.417,P=0.036).The complication rate of the L-TME group was greater than that of the R-TME group(32.1%vs 17.2%,χ^(2)=7.290,P=0.007).The percentage of positive annular margins in the L-TME group was greater than that in the R-TME group(7.1%vs 1.6%,χ^(2)=4.658,P=0.031).The 3-year disease-free survival(DFS)rate and overall survival(OS)rate of the L-TME group were lower than those of the R-TME group(74.1%vs 85.2%,χ^(2)=4.962,P=0.026;81.3%vs 91.4%,χ^(2)=5.494,P=0.019);in patients with American Joint Committee on Cancer stage Ⅲ DFS rate and OS rate in the L-TME group were significantly lower than those in the R-TME group(52.5%vs 76.1%,χ^(2)=5.799,P=0.016;65.0%vs 84.8%,χ^(2)=4.787,P=0.029).CONCLUSION Compared with the L-TME group,the R-TME group had a better tumor prognosis and was more favorable for patients with rectal cancer

The anomalous valley Hall effect(AVHE)can be used to explore and utilize valley degrees of freedom in materials,which has potential applications in fields such as information storage,quantum computing and *** exists in two-dimensional(2D)materials possessing valley polarization(VP),and such 2D materials usually belong to the hexagonal honeycomb ***,it is necessary to achieve valleytronic materials with VP that are more readily to be synthesized and applicated *** this topical review,we introduce recent developments on realizing VP as well as AVHE through different methods,i.e.,doping transition metal atoms,building ferrovalley heterostructures and searching for ferrovalley ***,2D ferrovalley systems under external modulation are also discussed.2D valleytronic materials with AVHE demonstrate excellent performance and potential applications,which offer the possibility of realizing novel low-energy-consuming devices,facilitating further development of device technology,realizing miniaturization and enhancing functionality of them.

Modulation of High-Order Harmonic Generation from a Monolayer ZnO by Co-rotating Two-Color Circularly Polarized Laser Fields

By numerically solving the two-dimensional semiconductor Bloch equation,we study the high-order harmonic emission of a monolayer ZnO under the driving of co-rotating two-color circularly polarized laser *** changing the relative phase between the fundamental frequency field and the second one,it is found that the harmonic intensity in the platform region can be significantly *** the higher order,the harmonic intensity can be increased by about one order of *** time-frequency analysis,it is demonstrated that the emission trajectory of monolayer ZnO can be controlled by the relative phase,and the harmonic enhancement is caused by the second quantum trajectory with the higher emission *** addition,near-circularly polarized harmonics can be generated in the co-rotating two-color circularly polarized *** the change of the relative phase,the harmonics in the platform region can be altered from left-handed near-circularly polarization to right-handed *** results can obtain high-intensity harmonic radiation with an adjustable ellipticity,which provides an opportunity for syntheses of circularly polarized attosecond pulses.

Although there has been significant advancement in the identification and management of colorectal cancer(CRC)in recent years,there is still room for improvement in the current standard treatment *** area of concern is the lack of reliable tumor markers to predict treatment efficacy and guide tailored *** to its dynamic,effective,and non-invasive benefits over tissue biopsy,the detection of minimal or molecular residual lesions(MRD)based on circulating tumor DNA(ctDNA)is beneficial to the clinical development of drugs for patients with CRC after radical treatment,as well as for continuous monitoring of tumor recurrence and malignancy molecular gene *** detection of ctDNA can currently be used to guide individual postoperative auxiliary treatment decisions(upgrade or downgrade treatment)in CRC,stratify the risk of clinical recurrence more precisely,and predict the risk of recurrence in advance of imaging examination,according to a large number of observational or prospective clinical *** increasing clarity comes the possibility of selecting a regimen of treatment based on postoperative ctDNA,which also improves the accuracy of clinical recurrence risk assessment for ***,it is anticipated that the identification of ctDNA would alter the current framework for dealing with CRC and lead to individualized,stratified precision therapy;however,additional confirmation will require subsequent high-quality,prospective,large-scale randomized controlled *** article will provide an overview of the definition and clinical significance of MRD,the primary indications and technological challenges for MRD detection,along with the advancement in clinical research about ctDNA detection following radical resection of the CRC.

A 10 × 10 solar-blind ultraviolet(UV) imaging array with double-layer wire structure was prepared based on Ga_(2)O_(3) film grown by atomic layer deposition. These single detection units in the array exhibit excellent performance at 3 V: photo-todark current ratio(PDCR) of 5.5 × 10^(5), responsivity(R) of 4.28 A/W, external quantum efficiency(EQE) of 2.1 × 10^(3)%, detectivity(D*) of 1.5 × 10^(14) Jones, and fast response time. The photodetector array shows high uniformity under different light intensity and low operating bias. The array also has good temperature stability. Under 300 ℃, it still presents clear imaging and keeps high R of 34.4 and 6.45 A/W at 5 and 1 V, respectively. This work provides a new insight for the large-scale array of Ga_(2)O_(3) solarblind UV detectors.

Per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances(PFASs)are emerging persistent organic pollutants(POPs).In this study,47 surface sediment samples were collected from the Yellow River Delta wetland(YRDW)to investigate the occurrence,spatial distribution,potential sources,and ecological risks of ***-three out of 26 targeted PFASs were detected in surface sediment samples from the YRDW,with totalΣ23PFASs concentrations ranging from 0.23 to 16.30 ng g^(-1) dw and a median value of 2.27 ng g^(-1) *** acid(PFOA),perfluorobutanoic acid(PFBA)and perfluorooctanesulfonic acid(PFOS)were the main *** detection frequency and concentration of perfluoroalkyl carboxylic acids(PFCAs)were higher than those of perfluoroal-kanesulfonic acids(PFSAs),while those of long-chain PFASs were higher than those of short-chain *** emerging PFASs substitutes were dominated by 6:2 chlorinated polyfluoroalkyl ether sulfonic acid(6:2 Cl-PFESA).The distribution of PFASs is significantly influenced by the total organic carbon content in the *** concentration of PFASs seems to be related to human activities,with high concentration levels of PFASs near locations such as beaches and *** using a positive matrix factorization model,the potential sources of PFASs in the region were identified as metal plating mist inhibitor and fluoropolymer manufacturing sources,metal plating industry and firefighting foam and textile treatment sources,and food packaging material *** risk assessment indicated that PFASs in YRDW sediments do not pose a significant ecological risk to benthic organisms in the region overall,but PFOA and PFOS exert a low to moderate risk at individual stations.
