This work details a study based on HfS_(2 )transistors utilizing an n-octadecylphosphonic acid-based self-assembled monolayer(SAM)as the gate *** fabrication of the SAM-based two-dimensional(2D)material transistor is simple and can be used to improve the quality of the interface of air-sensitive 2D *** comparison to HfS_(2) transistors utilizing a conventional Al_2O_(3) gate insulator by atomic layer deposition,HfS_(2) transistors utilizing an SAM as the gate dielectric can reduce the operation region from 4 V to 2 V,enhance the field-effect mobility from 0.03 cm^2/Vs to 0.75 cm^2/Vs,improve the sub-threshold swing from 404 m V/dec to 156 m V/dec,and optimize the hysteresis to 0.03 V,thus demonstrating improved quality of the semiconductor/insulator interface.

Traffic flow prediction is an important component for real-time traffic-adaptive signal control in urban arterial *** exploring available detector and signal controller information from neighboring intersections,a dynamic data-driven flow prediction model was *** model consists of two prediction components based on the signal states(red or green) for each movement at an upstream *** characteristics of each signal state were carefully examined and the corresponding travel time from the upstream intersection to the approach in question at the downstream intersection was *** an online turning proportion estimation method,along with the predicted travel times,the anticipated vehicle arrivals can be forecasted at the downstream *** model performance was tested at a set of two signalized intersections located in the city of Gainesville,Florida,USA,using the CORSIM microscopic simulation *** results show that the model agrees well with empirical arrival data measured at 10 s intervals within an acceptable range of 10%-20%,and show a normal *** is reasonably believed that the model has potential applicability for use in truly proactive real-time traffic adaptive signal control systems.

In this paper we will obtain a Stone type theorem under the frame of Hilbert C＊-module, such that the classical Stone theorem is our special case. Then we use it as a main tool to obtain a spectrum decomposition theorem of certain stationary quantum stochastic process. In the end, we will give it an interpretation in statistical mechanics of multi-linear response.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of operator-valued quadratic form based on Hilbert W＊-module l2 A, and give a one to one correspondence between the set of positive self-adjoint regular module operators on l2 A and the set of regular quadratic forms, where A is a finite and a-finite von Neumann algebra. Furthermore, we obtain that a strict continuous symmetric regular module operator semigroup （Tt）t∈R＋ C L（l2 A） is Markovian if and only if the associated A-valued quadratic form is a Dirichlet form, where L（l2 A） is the yon Neumann algebra of all adjointable module maps on l2 A.

Manganese phosphates have shown excellent performances and great potential in electrochemical energy storage,which are demonstrated by research works published in recent *** manganese phosphates,the open-framework structures with large channels and cavities endow them with good ion conductivity and charge storage *** this review,we present the recent progress on manganese phosphates,by focusing on their advantages/disadvantages and potential applications as a new class of electrode materials in *** structural characteristics,synthesis methods,and mineral sources to prepare these manganese phosphates are investigated,together with the modification,as they strongly affect the electrochemical energy storage *** are paid to those hybrid-type materials,where strong synergistic effects *** the summary,interlayer engineering for the manganese phosphates and hybrid-types are proposed and discussed.

The distribution of inclusions at the bottom of a Ce-treated heavy steel ingot was detected and *** three-dimensional morphology and spatial distribution of CeAlOs clusters were characterized using the electrolytic extraction and Micro-CT detection.A model of inclusion collision to predict the aggregation of CeAlO_(3) inclusions in the ingot was established and validated by measured *** were mainly CeAlO_(3) and a small amount of Ce_(2)O_(2)S in the tundish after cerium *** collision and aggregation of inclusions led to the formation of large clusters in the ingot during the solidification *** slag entrainment inclusions,large CeAO_(3) clusters and small CeAlO_(3) particles were observed from the center to the edge of the ingot *** inclusions were mainly concentrated at the *** number density of inclusions larger than 200μm was 0.21 mm^(-3).The maximum diameter of CeA1O_(3) clusters was 1340μ*** the edge to the radial center and from the bottom to the top,the average diameter of inclusions gradually increased due to the longer solidification time of the ingot.

Sulfide electrolyte-based all-solid-state batteries(ASSBs)are potential next generation energy storage technology due to the high ionic conductivity of sulfide electrolytes and potentially improved energy density and ***,the performance of ASSBs at/below subzero temperatures has not been explored ***,low temperature(LT)performance of LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)|Li_(9.54)Si_(1.74)P_(1.44)S11.7Cl_(0.3)(LiSPSCl)|Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12)(LTO)ASSBs was *** charging the ASSB to 6 V at−40℃,a capacity of 100.7 mAh∙g^(−1)at 20 mA∙g^(−1)was achieved,which is much higher than that charged to 4.3 V(4.6 mAh∙g^(−1))at−40℃.Moreover,atomic resolution microscopy revealed that the NCM811 remained almost intact even after being charged to 6 *** contrast,NCM811 was entirely destructed when charged to 6 V at room *** sharp difference arises from the large internal charge transfer resistance at LT which requires high voltage to ***,such high voltage is not harmful to the active material but beneficial to extracting most energy out of the ASSBs at *** also demonstrated that thinner electrolyte is favorable for LT operation of ASSBs due to the reduced ion transfer *** work provides new strategies to boost the capacity and energy density of sulfide-based ASSBs at LT for dedicated LT applications.

The presence or absence of sea ice introduces a substantial perturbation to surface-atmosphere energy *** the effect of varying sea ice cover on surface-atmosphere interactions is an important consideration for understanding the Arctic climate *** recurring North Water Polynya(NOW)serves as a natural laboratory for isolating cloud responses to a rapid,near-step perturbation in sea *** this study,we employed high-resolution Arctic System Reanalysis version 2(ASRv2)data to estimate turbulent heat fluxes over the NOW and nearby sea ice(NSI)area between 2005/2006 and 2015/*** results indicate that the average turbulent heat fluxes in the polynya are about 87%and 86%higher than in the NSI area over the 10 years during the entire duration of the polynya and during polar night,*** turbulent heat fluxes from the polynya tend to produce more low-level *** relationship between the polynya and low cloud in winter was examined based on Cloud-Aerosol Lidar and Infrared Pathfinder Satellite Observations(CALIPSO).The low-cloud fraction(0-2 km)was about 7%-34%larger over the polynya than the NSI area,and the ice water content below 200 m was about 250%-413%higher over the former than the *** correlation between cloud fraction and turbulent heat fluxes in the polynya peaks around the altitude of 200-300 *** results suggest that the NOW affects the Arctic boundary layer cloudiness and structure in ***,higher horizontal resolution reanalysis data can advance our understanding of the cloud-polynya response.

The lattice expansion caused by the reduction of Ce(Ⅳ)to Ce(Ⅲ)impeded the development of the CeO_(2)as an effective electrode material for electrochemical ***,we prepared CeO_(2)-clay composites through a one-step hydrothermal *** interlayer structures of clays efficiently accommodate volume changes induced by crystal lattice expansion to achieve ultra-long cycle *** 60000 charge-discharge cycles,the capacitance retention rate of the assembled asymmetric supercapacitors is as high as~-100%.The key findings of this work reveal the potential application of clays in achieving ultralong cycle stability of the CeO_(2)electrode material,paving the way for further application of the CeO_(2)in electrochemical energy storage.
