Multi-network-region traffic cooperative scheduling in large-scale LEO satellite networks

A low-Earth-orbit(LEO)satellite network can provide full-coverage access services worldwide and is an essential candidate for future 6G ***,the large variability of the geographic distribution of the Earth’s population leads to an uneven service volume distribution of access ***,the limitations on the resources of satellites are far from being able to serve the traffic in hotspot *** enhance the forwarding capability of satellite networks,we first assess how hotspot areas under different load cases and spatial scales significantly affect the network throughput of an LEO satellite network ***,we propose a multi-region cooperative traffic scheduling *** algorithm migrates low-grade traffic from hotspot areas to coldspot areas for forwarding,significantly increasing the overall throughput of the satellite network while sacrificing some latency of end-to-end *** algorithm can utilize all the global satellite resources and improve the utilization of network *** model the cooperative multi-region scheduling of large-scale LEO *** on the model,we build a system testbed using OMNET++to compare the proposed method with existing *** simulations show that our proposed method can reduce the packet loss probability by 30%and improve the resource utilization ratio by 3.69%.

Influence of Slot Defect Length on Magnetic Flux Leakage

A key issue, which influences the applications of magnetic flux leakage testing, is defect quantification. There have been many research on the relationship between width, depth and magnetic flux leakage of slot defect. However, the length factor is often ignored. The relationship between characteristics of defect leakage field and defect length was investigated. The magnetic flux leakages of a series of plate specimens with the same width, same depth and different length slot defects were tested under the same magnetizing conditions. Testing results show that defect length is an important parameter needed to consider in quantifying defects.

Bicarbonate used as a buffer for controlling nutrient solution pH value during the growth of hydroponic lettuce

Unstable pH of nutrient solution in hydroponic systems is a major obstacle to *** simplify the management of nutrient solution pH and attenuate negative effects of pH on plant growth,this study investigated the effect of different buffer salt additions on nutrient solution pH,ion uptake,growth and photosynthesis of Yamazaki lettuce,with the equivalent concentrations of macro-element *** results indicated that the pH of nutrient solution was buffered to varying degrees by the 2 mol/L HCO_(3)^(-),1 mol/L HCO_(3)^(-),and 0.33 mol/L HPO_(4)^(2-)The 0.33 mol/L HPO_(4)^(2-)treatment fluctuated most with a pH of 1.74 units,while the addition of HCO_(3)^(-)buffered nutrient solution pH was better,with higher pH values(7.2-7.7).The CK-pH control solution,1 mol/L HCO_(3)^(-)and 0.33 mol/L HPO_(4)^(2-)treatments all promoted the uptake of ion and then the growth of lettuce was better in comparison with the CK-pH no adjustment treatment,while the 2 mol/L HCO_(3)^(-)treatment inhibited K uptake and reduced the availability of Fe,the shoot and root fresh weight of lettuce decreased by 21.3%and 10.1%,*** addition,although the chlorophyll content and net photosynthetic rate under 1 mol/L HCO_(3)^(-)and 0.33 mol/L HPO_(4)^(2-)treatments were significantly lower than the CK-pH control solution treatment,there were no significant differences in leaf length and leaf number of lettuce among them,and shoot fresh weight per plant was 83.09,82.95,and 78.92 g,*** conclusion,adding 1 mol/L HCO_(3)^(-)to the nutrient solution in a single dosage not only buffered the pH of nutrient solution better but also promoted ion uptake,it had no negative effects on the growth,photosynthesis and ion uptake of hydroponic lettuce in comparison with the CK-pH control solution ***,1 mol/L HCO_(3)^(-)can be used as a buffer during the growth of hydroponic lettuce and reduce frequent addition of acids or alkalis,and then simplify the management of nut

Plant height is one of the most important agronomic traits that directly determines plant architecture,and compact or dwarf plants can allow for increased planting density and land utilization as well as increased lodging resistance and economic *** least four dwarf/semidwarf genes have been identified in different melon varieties,but none of them have been cloned,and little is known about the molecular mechanisms underlying internode elongation in ***,we report map-based cloning and functional characterization of the first semidwarf gene short internode(Cmsi)in melon,which encodes an ERECTA-like receptor kinase regulating internode ***-temporal expression analyses revealed that CmSI exhibited high expression in the vascular bundle of the main stem during internode *** expression level of CmSI was positively correlated with stem length in the different melon varieties *** expression of CmSI in Arabidopsis and cucumber suggested CmSI as a positive regulator of internode elongation in both *** quantitation and transcriptome analysis showed that the auxin content and the expression levels of a number of genes involved in the auxin signaling pathway were altered in the semidwarf mutant,including several well-known auxin transporters,such as members of the ABCB family and PINFORMED genes.A melon polar auxin transport protein CmPIN2 was identified by protein–protein interaction assay as physically interacting with CmSI to modulate auxin ***,CmSI functions in an auxin-dependent regulatory pathway to control internode elongation in *** findings revealed that the ERECTA family gene CmSI regulates stem elongation in melon through auxin signaling,which can directly affect polar auxin transport.

Fast walking and jogging are two common exercises for people to maintain health in daily *** the differences in loading patterns of fast walking and jogging are still *** purpose of this study was to compare loading patterns in fast walking and jogging at the same speed,and to identify how differences in foot mechanics influence plantar pressure distribution between the two modes of ***,49 healthy males participated in this *** of pressure parameters,including maximum force(MF),peak pressure(PP),contact area(CA),force-time integral(FTI),were recorded by Pedar-X insole plantar pressure measurement system in participants’fast walking and jogging process at 7 km/h.A Load transfer analysis method was used to quantify the plantar load transference from fast walking to *** results showed that MF,PP and CA increased in metatarsal regions and midfoot regions while decreased in toes regions and heel during jogging when compared with fast *** decreased in all foot regions during jogging compared to fast *** the effects of spring mechanics and the varus of rearfoot during jogging,fast walking and jogging reveal different loading *** jogging to fast walking,load transferred as follow:1)in transverse direction,load transferred from lateral foot to medial foot in metatarsal regions and midfoot regions,2)in longitudinal direction,load transferred from toes to the metatarsal,and from heel to the metatarsal and *** results also provide suggestions for footwear designs.

Enhancing Code Quality with LLM in Software Static Analysis

In our modern age of omnipresent and highly interconnected information technology， cybersecurity caused by software code vulnerabilities becomes ever more challenged， threatening the confidentiality， integrity， and availability of information systems during operation. To enhance software code quality， enterprises often incorporate static code analysis tools in Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines. but the side effects of high false positives and false negatives remain a challenge. The advent of LLM like ChatGPT AI model presents an opportunity to address this challenge. In this paper， we propose a method utilizing the custom-built Nebula-coder AI model for detecting and fixing code security issues in real-time during the developer’s personal build process. We construct a static code checking rule knowledge base through summarizing and classifying CWE code security problems identified by security teams and quality assurance teams. The rule knowledge base is combined with CodeFuse-processed code contexts to serve as inputs for an AI code security detection microservice， which assists in identifying code quality and security issues. If any abnormalities are detected， they are addressed by an AI code security patching microservice， which alerts the developer and requests confirmation before committing the code into the repository. Experimental results show that our approach effectively improves code quality. We developed a VSCode plugin for code alert detection and repair based on LLMs， which facilitates test shift-left and lowers the risk of software development.

Advancing efficient and affordable electrocatalysts to boost the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is pivotal for sustainable green hydrogen ***,we propose the fabrication of nickel-iron alloy nanoparticles-encapsulated on N-doped vertically aligned graphene array on carbon cloth(NiFe@NVG/CC)as a highly active three-dimensional(3D)catalyst electrode for *** 1 M KOH,such NiFe@NVG/CC demonstrates outstanding catalytic performance,necessitating merely overpotential of 245 mV for achieving a current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2),a remarkably low Tafel slope of 36.2 mV·dec^(−1).Furthermore,density functional theory calculations validate that the incorporate of N species into graphene can reinforce the electrocatalytic activity though reducing the reaction energy barrier during the conversion of*O to*OOH *** outstanding performance and structural benefits of NiFe@NVG/CC offer valuable insights for the development of innovative and efficient electrocatalysts for water oxidation.

Seawater electrolysis,especially in coastlines,is widely considered as a sustainable way of making clean and high-purity H2 from renewable energy;however,the practical viability is challenged severely by the limited anode durability resulting from side reactions of chlorine ***,we report an effective Cl^(−) blocking barrier of NiFe-layer double hydroxide(NiFe-LDH)to harmful chlorine chemistry during alkaline seawater oxidation(ASO),a pre-formed surface-derived NiFe-phosphate(Pi)***,the PO_(4)^(3−)-enriched outer-layer is capable of physically and electrostatically inhibiting Cl−adsorption,which protects active Ni^(3+)sites during *** NiFe-LDH with the NiFe-Pi outer-layer(NiFe-LDH@NiFe-Pi)exhibits higher current densities(j)and lower overpotentials to afford 1 A·cm^(−2)(η1000 of 370 mV versusη1000 of 420 mV)than the NiFe-LDH in 1 M KOH+***,the NiFe-LDH@NiFe-Pi also demonstrates longer-term electrochemical durability than NiFe-LDH,attaining 100-h duration at the j of 1 A·cm^(−2).Additionally,the importance of surface-derived PO_(4)^(3−)-enriched outer-layer in protecting the active centers,γ-NiOOH,is explained by ex situ characterizations and in situ electrochemical spectroscopic studies.

Control of GaN inverted pyramids growth on c-plane patterned sapphire substrates

Growth of gallium nitride(GaN)inverted pyramids on c-plane sapphire substrates is benefit for fabricating novel devices as it forms the semipolar *** this work,GaN inverted pyramids are directly grown on c-plane patterned sapphire substrates(PSS)by metal organic vapor phase epitaxy(MOVPE).The influences of growth conditions on the surface morphol-ogy are experimentally studied and explained by Wulff *** competition of growth rate among{0001},{1011},and{1122}facets results in the various surface morphologies of GaN.A higher growth temperature of 985 ℃ and a lowerⅤ/Ⅲratio of 25 can expand the area of{}facets in GaN inverted *** the other hand,GaN inverted pyramids with almost pure{}facets are obtained by using a lower growth temperature of 930℃,a higherⅤ/Ⅲratio of 100,and PSS with pattern arrangement perpendicular to the substrate primary flat.
