Objective Already for many years,fuel consumption and operating cost were the major technology drivers for commercial ***,in order to achieve agreed CO goals and to reduce the dependency on crude oil,governments are implementing CO or fuel consumption *** more,reduction of fuel consumption and consequently low operating costs are continuously an important focus for manufacturers and owners of commercial *** powertrain technologies,which will further reduce fuel consumption,are able to combine these three drivers,to reduce CO emission,to reduce the dependency on crude oil and to address the need of lower total cost of ownership of the owners of commercial *** The efficiency of commercial powertrains can be significantly increased in *** potentials for improvement are seen specifically in those technologies,which are able to provide a global optimum of the whole powertrain system,from engine to exhaust aftcrtreatment to cooling system up to transmission and the final *** total a fuel efficiency potential of20%is seen for long haul *** AVL has developed a whole line of technologies,which can be implemented to the commercial powertrain in the future to address the requirements *** individual measures are the optimization of the balance between engine and aftertreatment systems,reduced engine friction by advanced thermal management systems,reduced parasitic losses of the auxiliaries in real life driving cycles,conversion of exhaust energy in driving power,application of new and advanced transmission technologies and shift strategies as well as degrees of electrification of the ***,alternative fuels provide another field of CO friendly technologies as well as reduced operating *** specifically,the availability of local resources drive short term *** paper will compare the individual saving potentials of these technologies,will rate it against criteria

Abiotic stresses such as heat and frost limit plant growth and ***-based field phenotyping methods allow quantifying not only plant growth but also plant *** crops show senescence caused by cold spells,visible as declines in leaf *** accurately quantified such declines by monitoring changes in canopy cover based on time-resolved high-resolution imagery in the ***-six winter wheat genotypes were measured in multiple years.A concept termed"frost damage index"(FDI)was developed that,in analogy to growing degree days,summarizes frost events in a cumulative *** measured sensitivity of genotypes to the FDI correlated with visual scorings commonly used in breeding to assess winter *** FDI concept could be adapted to other factors such as drought or heat *** commonly not considered in plant growth modeling,integrating such degradation processes may be key to improving the prediction of plant performance for future climate scenarios.

BACKGROUND Endoscopic treatment of pancreatic necrosis can be challenging and timeconsuming because sticky necrotic debris is sometimes difficult to remove. The over-the-scope-grasper, a new tool that has recently become available for this purpose, might also be useful for other indications. However, clinical data on the efficacy and safety of this new device are *** To evaluate the technical success and safety of the device in a multicenter *** The over-the-scope-grasper was used in nine selected endoscopic centers between November 2020and October 2021 for appropriate indications. Overall, 56 procedures were included in the *** retrospectively evaluated procedural parameters of all endoscopic interventions using a predefined questionnaire, with special respect to technical success, indications, duration of intervention, type of sedation, and complications. In the case of pancreatic necrosectomy, the access route, stent type, number of necrosis pieces removed, and clinical handling were also *** A total of 56 procedures were performed, with an overall technical success rate of 98%. Most of the procedures were endoscopic pancreatic necrosectomies(33 transgastric, 4 transduodenal). In 70%of the procedures, access to the necrotic cavity was established with a lumen apposing metal *** technical success of pancreatic necrosectomy was 97%, with a mean of 8 pieces(range, 2-25pieces) of necrosis removed in a mean procedure time of 59 min(range, 15-120 min). In addition,the device has been used to remove blood clots(n = 6), to clear insufficiency cavities before endoluminal vacuum therapy(n = 5), and to remove foreign bodies from the upper gastrointestinal tract(n = 8). Repeated Multiview Imaging for Estimating Seedling Tiller Counts of Wheat Genotypes Using Drones

Early generation breeding nurseries with thousands of genotypes in single-row plots are well suited to capitalize on high throughput ***,methods to monitor the intrinsically hard-to-phenotype early development of wheat are yet *** aimed to develop proxy measures for the rate of plant emergence,the number of tillers,and the beginning of stem elongation using drone-based *** used RGB images(ground sampling distance of 3mm pixel-1)acquired by repeated flights(≥2 flights per week)to quantify temporal changes of visible leaf *** exploit the information contained in the multitude of viewing angles within the RGB images,we processed them to multiview ground cover images showing plant pixel *** on these images,we trained a support vector machine for the beginning of stem elongation(GS30).Using the GS30 as key point,we subsequently extracted plant and tiller counts using a watershed algorithm and growth modeling,*** results show that determination coefficients of predictions are moderate for plant count(R^(2)=0:52),but strong for tiller count(R^(2)=0:86)and GS30(R^(2)=0:77).Heritabilities are superior to manual measurements for plant count and tiller count,but inferior for GS30 *** the selection intensity due to throughput may overcome this *** image traits can replace hand measurements with high efficiency(85-223%).We therefore conclude that multiview images have a high potential to become a standard tool in plant phenomics.

Objective： Advances in high-throughput genomic profiling and the development of new targeted therapies improve patient＇s survival. In gastrointestinal （GI） malignancies, the concept of personalized medicine （PM） was not investigated so far. The aim of this prospective study was to evaluate the efficacy of a personalized treatment in GI patients who failed standard treatment. Methods： Out of the original prospective clinical phase II EXACT trial, 21 （38%） GI cancer patients who had no further treatment options were identified. A molecular profile （MP） via a 50 gene next generation sequencing （NGS） panel in combination with immunohistochemistry （IHC） was conducted using real-time biopsy tumor material. Results were discussed by a multidisciplinary team （MDT） to translate the individual MP in an experimental treatment. Results： Of the 55 patients originally included in the EXACT trial, 21 （38%） suffered from GI malignancies. The final analysis showed that 15 （71%） patients had experienced a longer progression-free survival （PFS） upon experimental targeted treatment （124 d, quartiles 70/193 d）, when compared with the PFS achieved by the previous conventional therapy （62 d, quartiles 55/83 d）（P=0.014）. Thirteen （62%） patients receiving targeted treatment experienced a disease control according to Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors （RECIST）. Median overall survival （OS） from the start of experimental therapy to time of censoring or death was 193 d （quartiles 115/374 d）. Conclusions： PM was not investigated in GI malignancies so far in a prospective trial. This study shows that treatment based on real-time molecular tumor profiling led to a superior clinical benefit, and survival as well as response was significantly improved when compared with previous standard medications.

Global existence of classical solutions to the relativistic Vlasov-Maxwell system, given sufficiently regular initial data, is a long-standing open problem. The aim of this project is to present in details the results of a paper published in 1986 by Robert Glassey and walter Strauss. In that paper, a sufficient condition for the global existence of a smooth solution to the relativistic Vlasov-Maxwell system is derived. In the following, the resulting theorem is proved by taking initial data , . A small data global existence result is presented as well.

在洪涝风险管理战略中,滞蓄洪水,尤其是调控滞洪正发挥着愈加突出的作用。滞洪工程虽然能够有效降低洪涝高发地区的洪水风险,但也会占用大量土地,侵犯其所有者的财产权益。因此,此类工程在实施过程中,往往会面临可用土地不足以及越发高昂的(农业)土地补偿费等阻碍。滞洪工程的大规模推广不仅会改变滨河土地的用途,也会使相关权力及机构向低层政府机关下沉,甚至转移到提供滞洪用地的私人土地所有者、滞洪工程受益者等非政府行为主体。本文以奥地利山地城市阿尔滕马克特市的调控滞洪工程补偿方案为例,通过多中心视角探索了一系列新型治理路径;同时以多中心理论的五大命题为依据,辨析了"治理"在奥地利滞洪工程补偿机制中的含义,并分析了滞洪工程在提高滨河地区景观韧性方面的潜力和局限性。
