Dear editor:We sincerely thank Matthew *** for his insightful commentary1 on our recent publication in the j.urnal of Sport and Health Science.2 Clarkson's pioneering work in the development and application of blood flow restriction (BFR) exercise protocols has undeniably laid the groundwork for subsequent investigations in this field,including our own.(3-6)His commentary not only highlights the relevance and timeliness of our study but also offers valuable perspectives on refining safety considerations for intradialytic BFR exercise among hemodialysis patients.

This research aimed to analyze the possibility to estimate and automatically map large areas of soybean cultivation through the use of MODIS(Moderate-Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer)*** maj.r techniques were used:GEOgraphic-Obj.ct-Based Image Analysis(GEOBIA)and Data Mining(DM).In order to obtain the images,the segmentation algorithm implemented by Definiens Developer was used.A decision tree(DT)was created from a training set previously ***-series of images from the MODIS sensor aboard the Terra satellite were acquired in order to represent the wide variation of the vegetation pattern along the soybean crop *** time-series data were used only for the CEI ***,to compare the results obtained from GEOBIA,the slicing technique was used at the CEI *** the training,the DT was applied to the vegetation indices generating the thematic map of the spatial distribution of *** accordance with the error matrix and kappa parameter analysis,tests for statistical significance were *** indicate that the classification achieved by Kappa coefficients is *** short,the obtained results proved that combining vegetation indices and time-series data using GEOBIA return promising results for mapping soybean plantation on a regional scale.

In this article, a transmission line is represented by a cascade of n circuits using a single phase. It is analyzed what is the reasonable number of n circuits and the number of blocks composed by parallel resistor and inductor in parallel for reduction of numerical oscillations. It is simulated the numerical routine with and without the effectof frequency in the longitudinal parameters. Initially, it is used to state variables and 7t circuits representing the transmission line composing a linear system which is solved by numerical routines based on the trapezoidal rule. The effect of frequency on the line is synthesized by resistors and inductors in parallel and this representation is analyzed in details. It is described as transmission lines and the frequency influence in these lines through the state variables.

The use of Animal House Facilities of IPEN-CNEN/SP （Nuclear and Energetic Research Institute-National Nuclear Energy Commission/SP, Brazil） has provided rats and mice with controlled sanitary quality for research and quality control in the production of radiopharmaceuticals lots, produced at IPEN, following rules of CONCEA-Brazilian National Council for Animal Experimentation Control and approved in CEUA （Ethics Committee on the Use of Animals）, before they are sent to hospitals and clinics spread out in Brazil, for use in nuclear medicine. The production and the supply of high quality laboratory animals have fundamental importance for the accomplishment of vanguard scientific research, with reproducibility and universality. The quality of those animals depends, largely, on the available facilities for their production and lodging, to assure the demanded sanitary control and animal＇s welfare, in agreement with the ethical principles that control the activity. Therefore, the facilities design is of vital importance so that the mentioned requirements can be reached. Nevertheless, pigs and miniature pigs have gained importance as large animal models in medicine. With their size, organ capacity, and physiology resembling in several aspects that of humans, pigs are well suited for preclinical experiments and long-term safety studies. Minipigs will be used for preclinical testing of radiopharmaceuticals and assays radioactive materials for cardiac tests. This paper describes the premises and preliminary activities that have been performed at IPEN for the design of new Animal House Facilities dedicated to keeping minipigs taking into account fundamental aspects such as： animal＇s welfare, sanitation, genetic, in agreement with the ethical principles that control the activity and environmental concerns.

BACKGROUND Neoadj.vant treatment has become a standard of care for borderline or locally advanced pancreatic cancer and is increasingly considered even for up-front resectable *** aim of this article is to present the case of a 62-year-old patient with locally advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma who was successfully treated with gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel after the failure of the first line *** SUMMARY Computerized tomography scan and magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated a nodular lesion of ill-defined limits in the body of the pancreas,measuring approximately 4.2 cm×2.7 cm,with an infiltrative *** tumor had contact with the superior mesenteric vein,splenomesenteric j.nction and the proximal segment of the splenic artery,causing focal reduction of its *** to vascular involvement,neoadj.vant chemotherapy treatment with eight cycles of“folinic acid,5-fluorouracil,irinotecan and oxa-liplatine”(FOLFIRINOX)were *** the end of the cycles,surgery was performed,but the procedure was interrupted due to finding of lesions suspected of *** plus nab-paclitaxel was then successfully used for neoadj.vant treatment with subsequent R0 surgical *** Gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel may be effective as an alternative regimen when FOLFIRINOX fails as the first line of treatment,suggesting the need for further studies to identify which patients would benefit from each type of therapeutic approach.

Environmental pollution with chromium （Cr） is harmful to humans, animals and plants, while in plants it causes diminished growth, anatomical alterations and death. In the present study, the potential value of marigold （Tagetes erecta） in the phytoremediation of Cr has been investigated. The randomized experimental design involved the exposure of plants to nutrient solutions containing 0.00, 0.04, 0.08, 0.12, 0.16 or 0.24 mmol L-1 Cr（III）. Chromium toxicity was observed at Cr（III） concentrations ≥ 0.12 mmol L-1 as demonstrated by diminished growth of the aerial parts and reduced density of the root system. Increasing Cr（III） concentrations in the nutrient solution resulted in a higher bioaccumulation of total Cr in the tissues, although translocation from roots to aerial parts was not efficient （maximum value of 25% at 0.12 mmol L-1 Cr（III））. The Cr bioaccumulation was up to 11-fold greater in roots than in the aerial parts. Tagetes erecta exhibited leaf plasticity when exposed to Cr, indicating the existence of a tolerance mechanism to Cr in this species. Chromium caused a reduction in xilem vases, resulting in a plastic effect in T. erecta leaves that increased the metal tolerance in culture solution. Tagetes spp. are potential Cr hyperaccumulators; at Cr（III） concentrations up to 0.12 mmol L-1, the plants accumulated levels above that proposed for hyperaccumulators and still maintained a considerable growth and even flourished. However, this study was conducted in nutrient solution, and studies on species confirmation as Cr hyperaccumulator should be conducted in soils for further clarification.
