The extraction of essential.oil. was performed by using the technique of hydrodistil.ation modified Cl.venger apparatus, identification and quantification of the constituents was achieved by Gas Chromatography coupl.d to Mass Spectrometry, and Gas Chromatography equipped with a fl.me ionization detector. Assessment of al.el.pathic activity was eval.ated with the use of the method that assesses the direct contact of essential.oil. on germination and vigor of l.ttuce seeds. The major constituents that characterize the essential.oil.from the fl.wers of Cal.istemon viminal.s were 1, 8-cineol., α-pinene and l.monene at concentrations of 66.9%, 16.0% and 10.0%, respectivel.. The essential.oil.presented al.el.pathic activity at intensities that varied proportionatel. to the concentration of the essential.oil. with a reduction in the percentage of germination and the germination speed index (GSI) of l.ttuce seeds and in the dry mass and l.ngth of shoots and roots of l.ttuce seedl.ngs.

Above-optimal.temperatures reduce yiel. in many crops, incl.ding tomato, l.rgel. because of the heat-sensitivity of their reproduction process. A ful. understanding of heat-stress (HS) response and thermotol.rance of tomato reproduction is stil. l.cking. Recentl., using external.appl.cation of the pl.nt hormone ethylene, it was demonstrated that ethylene plays a role in heat-tolerance of tomato pollen (the male reproductive cells). In order to expand our understanding on involvement of ethylene in tomato pollen thermotolerance, we analyzed the response of wild type and ethylene-related tomato mutant plants to HS, at physiological and molecular levels. We report that mild chronic HS conditions highly reduce the number of viable and germinating pollen grains as well as the production of seeded fruits in wild type tomato plants, while no significant reduction was detected/observed in pollen quality, number of seeded fruits and seeds per fruit in plants of the ethylene over-producer mutant epinastic. Our findings suggest that ethylene is involved in thermotolerance of tomato reproduction, pointing to an effect on pollen viability and germination potential, highlighting candidate genes involved in pollen response to HS (like SlHSP17, SlHSP101, SlMBF1) and suggesting directions for further studies.

腐植酸(HA)通过调节植物的激素和氧化还原代谢来刺激几种植物种类的生长,然而,关于HA与植物相关菌群的关系鲜有报道。本文中,我们假设HA效应与植物相关细菌群落的调控同时发生,水稻在施用或不施用HA(80 mg/l.的营养液中生长264 h,每24 h评价1次植株生长,施用240 h后取样品进行16S rRNA基因测序。第1次施用HA后,从100 h到264 h植株净同化率、绝对生长率和相对生长率增加,根系体积和其他生长变量在植物生长周期的不同时间受到刺激。宏基因组分类揭示,使用HA后细菌群落结构和组成受到影响,HA处理的根部,群落成员间的相互作用增强,显示更多关联更密切的细菌群落,鞘氨醇菌属(Chitinophaga)和粘液杆菌属(Mucil.ginibacter)是HA处理后根系的优势菌属。据报道,这些细菌能产生酶,降解真菌、卵菌和线虫卵壁中的化合物。铁载体产生者和植物生长促进者——假单胞菌(Pseudomonas)和酸杆菌Gp1(Acidobacteria Gp1)均富集,虽然丰度较低。鉴于这些结果,我们认为植物组建这些微生物是为了应对HA—根互作引起的胁迫。我们的研究结果首次表明,受HA刺激的植物可能采用组建细菌群落成员的生态策略,这些细菌群落成员是抑制病原体的候选者,因而参与植物防御.

研究旨在探讨在哺乳犊牛饲料中添加不同水平的硒,直接作用于皱胃时犊牛免疫系统的增强和生长性能的提高是否优于瘤胃。选用75日龄的新生犊牛(荷斯坦×新泽西州)30头,随机分配成3组:C组为对照组(不补充硒,硒源只来源于牛奶中);Se A组为皱胃0.80 mg·头-1·d-(1注射);Se R组为瘤胃0.80 mg·头-1·d-(1口服)。犊牛在30日龄时,两个试验组犊牛血液中硒的浓度极显著高于对照组(P=0.001)。两个试验组犊牛的巨噬细胞的吞噬活性高于对照组,其中Se A组极显著高于Se R组(P=0.007)。在犊牛30日龄期间,各组间犊牛的中性粒细胞和血细胞比容的氧化活性无显著差异。30日龄Se R组的哺乳犊牛的干物质采食量(P=0.059)和胸围增益(P=0.059)均显著高于Se A组(P<0.01)。与对照组相比,补充硒可有效提高犊牛的饲料转化率(P=0.075)。30日龄各组犊牛的体增重(P=0.059)、高度和长度均无显著差异。在75日龄时,补充硒的犊牛的血液中硒含量(P=0.079)和胸围(P=0.088)呈现增加的趋势。在哺乳犊牛的牛奶中补充有机硒0.80 mg可增加血清中硒含量,并增强其30日龄时的免疫机能。对犊牛皱胃补充硒其免疫反应优于对犊牛瘤胃的补充。此外,补充硒可减少对动物生产中腹泻。补硒不能哺乳犊牛生长,但可以提高哺乳期间的免疫功能。

Introduction: Experimental.Cl.nical.studies have shown that l.ss of up to 77.0% of red cel. mass can be tol.rated as l.ng as it kept the bl.od vol.me. However, the bl.od vol.me l.ss of about 34.0% is fatal. The initial.attention in patients with bl.eding shoul. be given to maintaining bl.od vol.me and oxygen transport. Thus, transfusions of al.ogeneic bl.od products are associated with an increased risk of morbidity and mortal.ty in cardiac surgery. Some transfusion risk scores have been proposed for cardiac surgery patients. Objective: To review and discuss l.terature bl.od transfusion (bl.od components gradient) in cardiovascul.r surgery versus pol.trauma, gastrointestinal.bl.eding, and neopl.stic diseases. Methods: The model.fol.owed for the review was PRISMA. We used the databases as Sciel., l.l.cs, Googl. Schol.r, PubMed articl.s and works of scientific and doctoral.theses master. Resul.s: According to the discussion in the l.terature, the acute bl.eding of l.rge vol.mes is chal.enging to emergency services. Accordingl., the need to support hemotherapeutics l.d to the devel.pment of protocol. for more rational.util.zation of the monitored bl.od components. Concl.sion: Hemotherapy services have adopted a very dynamic approach to the cl.nical.condition presented by patients, the need for four or more red bl.od cel. units.
