BACKGROUND The influence of Helicobacter-pylori(***)infection and the characteristics of gastric cancer(GC)on tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte(TIL)levels has not been extensively *** of infiltrating-immune-cell subtypes as well as survival is necessary to obtain comprehensive *** To determine the rates of deficient mismatch-repair(dMMR),HER2-status and *** infection and their association with TIL levels in *** Samples from 503 resected GC tumors were included and TIL levels were evaluated following the international-TILs-working-group recommendations with assessment of the intratumoral(IT),stromal(ST)and invasive-border(IB)*** density of CD3,CD8 and CD163 immune cells,and dMMR and HER2-status were determined by immunohistochemistry(IHC).*** infection was evaluated by routine histology and quantitative PCR(qPCR)in a subset of *** dMMR was found in 34.4%,HER2+in 5%and ***-positive in 55.7%of *** IT-TIL was associated with grade-3(P=0.038),while ST-TIL with grade-1(P<0.001),intestinal-histology(P<0.001)and no-recurrence(P=0.003).dMMR was associated with high TIL levels in the ST(P=0.019)and IB(P=0.01)compartments,and STCD3(P=0.049)and ST-CD8(P=0.05)***2-was associated with high IT-CD8(P=0.009).*** was associated with high IT-TIL levels(P=0.009)when assessed by routine-histology,and with high TIL levels in the 3 compartments(P=0.002-0.047)and CD8 density in the IT and ST compartments(P=0.001)when assessed by qPCR.A longer overall survival was associated with low IT-CD163(P=0.003)and CD8/CD3(P=0.001 in IT and P=0.002 in ST)and high IT-CD3(P=0.021),ST-CD3(P=0.003)and CD3/CD163(P=0.002).CONCLUSION TIL levels were related to dMMR and *** CD8/CD3 and high CD163/CD3 were associated with lower recurrence and longer survival.

Mobility after Heart Surgery： What Are Influential Factors？

Objective: To analyze postoperative mobility after cardiac surgery. Methods: Observational study in patients, aged ≥ 18 years, undergoing myocardial revascularization and/or valvular heart surgery, hospitalized in a Brazil hospital. The data collection took place between April 2016 and March 2017. On admission to the ward, patients received a calibrated pedometer. They were asked to use the device during five consecutive days, yet only three days of full use were analyzed. Results: Analyzed were data of 87 individuals with mean age of 58.70 ± 12.59 years, 52 (59.8%) of them were males. Regarding surgery, 53 (60.9%) underwent myocardial revascularization. The median number of steps was 738 (185-1,557), which showed a weak and inverse correlation with the length of stay in the intensive care unit (r = -0.3 / p = 0.02), however, it was not statistically significant when related to clinical and surgical data. Male patients had a better mobility when compared to patients of the female sex (p = 0.04). Conclusions: Individuals who had a longer stay in the intensive care unit, as well as females, had a lower mobility in the ward. The mobility did not show a relation with intra- and postoperative factors.

目的探讨联合应用氯吡格雷和质子泵抑制剂（PPI）对急性冠状动脉综合征（ACS）患者经皮冠状动脉介入（PCI）术后预后的影响。方法回顾性分析2003年至2014年来自10个国家（加拿大，巴西，德国，波兰，荷兰，西班牙，意大利，希腊，中国，日本）15个临床中心的ACS合并PCI术后18077例患者的临床资料。研究氯吡格雷、PPI与ACS患者PCI术后预后的关系。比较患者的基本临床特征、既往病史、生化指标、药物应用，以及终点事件的发生率情况。通过Cox回归模型进行分析及倾向性评分调整其他可能影响患者的预后因素包括人口学信息（年龄、性别）和临床指标，计算PPI这一干预因素的风险比并评价其是否能够明显影响患者的预后。结果基于国际多中心Blee MACs注册登记研究分析，排除关键数据缺失过多患者2676例。根据纳入与排除标准及倾向性评分调整整理后，再排除患者6461例，最终列队患者8940例。根据患者用药不同，将患者分为氯吡格雷＋PPI组（4814例）和氯吡格雷组（4126例）。氯吡格雷＋PPI组患者女性、高血压病史、高脂血症病史、糖尿病史、外周血管疾病史、既往急性心肌梗死史、慢性肾功能不全病史、消化道溃疡病史、冠状动脉旁路移植术病史、既往出血病史、恶性肿瘤病史、不稳定型心绞痛、非sT段抬高型心肌梗死、心功能Killip分级≥2级、经皮腔内冠状动脉成形术、出院后血管紧张素转换酶抑制剂／血管紧张素Ⅱ受体拮抗剂应用比例、年龄和入院时血肌酐水平明显高于氯吡格雷组[25．4％（1225／4814）比21．0％（865／4126）、59．9％（2882／4814）比49．2％（2032／4126）、48．3％（2327／4814）比42．7％（1762／4126）、26．4％（1272／4814）比22．1％（910／4126）、8．0％（386／4814）比5．6％（231／4126）、12．3％（593／4814）比10．6％（436／4126）、2．0％（98／4814）比0．7％（30／4126）、2．3％（112／4814）比1．0％（42／4126）、3．6％（172／4814）比2．2％（92／4126）、4．5％（219／4814）比3．0％（123／4126）、8．0％（387／4814）比4．7％（193／4126）、13．4％（644／4814）比9．1％（374／4126）、29．1％（1400／4814）比15．9％（656／4126）、14．5％（699／4814）比11．2％（462／4126）、56．0％（2697／4814）比55．7％（2300／4126）、75．5％（3633／4814）比68．6％（2829／4126）、（66±12）岁比（61±13）岁、（10±6）mg／L比（9±4）mg／L]；且入院时血红蛋白水平和出院后β受体阻滞剂应用比例明显低于氯吡格雷组[（138±19）g／L比（141±16）g／L、80．6％（3880／4814）比83．1％（3428／4126）]，差异均有统计学意义（均P〈0．05）。调整前，氯吡格雷＋PPI组主要终点事件（全因死亡／再发心肌梗死／出血）发生率明显高于氯吡格雷组，差异有统计学意义（风险比为1．331，95％置信区间为1．161-1．524）。调整后，氯吡格雷＋PPI组主要终点事件（全因死亡／再发心肌梗死／出血）发生率与氯吡格雷组比较，差异无统计学意义（风险比为1．036，95％置信区间为0．903-1．189）。结论ACS患者PCI术后联合应用PPI与氯吡格雷是合理的，尤其在胃肠道出血高危患者中。

目的分析急性冠状动脉综合征（ACS）经皮冠状动脉介入（PCI）术后出血情况。方法回顾性分析2003年1月至2014年12月来自11个国家16个临床中心的18077例行PCI的ACS患者的临床资料。根据是否出现出血事件，将患者分为出血组（558例）和非出血组（17519例），比较2组患者的基本临床特征、手术情况及生化指标。分析ACS患者PCI术后出血相关情况。结果马其顿中心数据因关键变量缺失过多而被排除患者2676例，故最终纳入10个国家15个中心15401例ACS患者。排除缺失数据，本研究共有12910例患者收集到出血部位的数据，409例患者存在出血事件。胃肠道是最常见出血部位，占48．7％（199／409），颅内出血占7．6％（31／409）。Logistic逐步回归方法多因素分析显示，既往出血病史、高血压病史是术后1年内消化道出血的危险因素。排除马其顿中心数据（2676例）与Cox回归模型和倾向性评分调整再排除5972例，剩余9429例作分层分析。根据是否联用质子泵抑制剂（PPI），将出院应用氯吡格雷生存患者8942例分为氯吡格雷联合应用PPI组（4814例）和氯吡格雷未联合应用PPI组（4126例）；将出院应用替格瑞洛生存患者489例分为替格瑞洛联合应用PPI组（351例）和替格瑞洛未联合应用PPI组（138例）。Kaplan-Meier法分析显示氯吡格雷联合应用PPI组1年出血事件发生率明显高于氯吡格雷未联合应用PPI组，差异有统计学意义（P=0．004）；替格瑞洛联合应用PPI组1年出血事件发生率与替格瑞洛未联合应用PPI组比较，差异无统计学意义（P=0．573）。结论ACS患者PCI术后最常见的出血部位为消化道，PPI与替格瑞洛联合应用在胃肠道出血风险较高患者中适用。

Incorporation of Nano-Zinc Oxide in Lamellar Zirconium Phosphate: Synthesis and Characterization

In order to provide ultraviolet barrier, antifungal and antibacterial properties, nano-zinc oxide (ZnO) was added to lamellar zirconium phosphate (ZrP). The phosphate was synthesized via reaction of zirconium oxychloride octahydrate and phosphoric acid following its chemical modification with Jeffamine and nano-ZnO. Diffractometric, morphological, thermal, structural and relaxometric evaluations were conducted. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) revealed increase of the area between 4000 - 3000 cm-1 due to the formation of ionic specie PO? +NH3-[C-(H)(CH3)-CH2-O-(C-(H)(CH3)-CH2-O)8-(CH2-CH2-O-CH3)] and nano-ZnO particles. Wide-angle X-ray diffraction indicated that intercalation of Jeffamine was successful. Thermogravimetry confirmed that nano-ZnO particle forced the expulsion of Jeffamine outside ZrP galleries. Scanning electron microscopy evidenced the Jeffamine intercalation and sample heterogeneity. Hydrogen molecular relaxation indicated the increase of molecular rigidity owing to the formation of ionic specie and the addition of nano-ZnO particles. It was postulated that a multifunctional and miscellaneous material constituted by as prepared ZrP, some delaminated ZrP platelets and nano-ZnO particles was achieved. The material has potential for usage as filler in polymeric composites.

Nanocellulose: Effect on Thermal, Structural, Molecular Mobility and Rheological Characteristics of Poly(Butylenes Adipate-Co-Butylene Terephthalate) Nanocomposites

The concern with environmental preservation is a very current and relevant topic. Regarding polymers, the search for potentially ecofriendly matters has been the subject of scientific research. In this context, this work aimed to study the effect of adding nanocellulose (nCE) with 1, 3, and 5 wt.% on poly(butylene adipate-co-butylene terephthalate) (PBAT). Thermal, structural, relaxometric, and rheological assessments were carried out. Quantitative evaluation of PBAT copolymer by high field NMR revealed 56.4 and 43.6 m.% of the butylene adipate and butylene terephthalate segments, respectively. WAXD measurement on the deconvoluted diffraction patterns identified that nCE was a mixing of Cellulose I and Cellulose II polymorph structures. At any composition, nanocellulose interfered with the PBAT crystallisation process. Also, a series of new PBAT crystallographic planes appeared as a function of nanocellulose content. PBAT hydrogen molecular relaxation varied randomly with nanocellulose content and had a strong effect on the hydrogen relaxation. PBAT cold crystallisation and melting temperatures (Tcc and Tm) were almost unchangeable. Although Tcc did not change during polymer solidification from PBAT molten state, the sample’s degree of crystallinity varied with composition through the transcrystallization phenomenon. Nanocomposite thermal stability decreased possibly owing to the catalytic action of sulfonated amorphous cellulose chains. For the sample with 3 wt.% of nanocellulose, the highest values of complex viscosity and storage modulus were achieved.

Printability of HDPE/Natural Fiber Composites with High Content of Cellulosic Industrial Waste

In this paper, a continuous polymeric matrix highly filled with fiber of sugarcane bagasse has been obtained and its feasibility as an ink-absorbing material has been evaluated. In order to study the effect of the amount of cellulose fiber on the surface printability, contact angle measurement using different liquids—water-based inks, ethanol and ink for ink-jet printers—and printing tests were performed on composites of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and sugarcane bagasse (SCB). The composites were processed in a Haake internal mixer, using the SCB without any previous chemical treatment or compatibilizer. The differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and derivative thermogravimetry (TG/ DTG) revealed an increase in the thermal stability and in the degree of crystallinity of the HDPE. The optical microscopy (OM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that the cellulosic material was homogeneously embedded within the HDPE matrix. In order to assess the resistance of the composite sample to the pull strength of the printer, tensile tests were applied to the composites and the results were compared to known paper samples. The best result was achieved in the composite with the highest content of SCB, as well as the shortest drying time.

This paper introduces a new version of the open-source educational software, LESM (Linear Elements Structure Model), developed in MATLAB for structural analysis of one-dimensional models such as frames, trusses, and grillages. The updated program includes dynamic analysis, which incorporates inertial and damping effects, time-dependent load conditions, and a transient solver with multiple time integration schemes. The software assumes small displacements and linear-elastic material behavior. The paper briefly explains the theoretical basis for these developments and the reorganization of the source code using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). The updated Graphical User Interface (GUI) allows interactive use of dynamic analysis features and displays new results such as animations, envelope diagrams of internal forces, phase portraits, and the response of degrees-of-freedom in time and frequency domain. The new version was used in a structural dynamics course, and new assignments were elaborated to improve students’ understanding of the subject.

Optical Microscopy as a Tool to Correlate Morphology and Thermal Properties of Extruded PET/PC Reactive Blends

Catalysed and uncatalysed reactive extruded poly(ethylene terephthalate)/poly(bisphenol-A carbonate) (PET/PC) blends phase structure at compositional range containing 0-100 wt% of both parent polymers were evaluated. Phase separation was supported by TG/DTG, DMA and DSC. The changes on Tg and Tm of the parent polymers were associated to the esterification and transesterification reactions inside the phases and into the interfacial region. According to optical observations, not yet published in this matter, the blend morphology was dictated, either composition or melt flow rate and in the whole composition range, a matrix-droplet morphology was noticed. PET was only able to be crystallized in blends in which it was the matrix. Mostly, the PET/PC blends revealed to be partially miscible systems in which the level of the transesterification/esterification reactions was driven by the kind of matrix. The latter showed great influence on the thermal properties.
