Th.re are well-establi.h.d ch.mi.al and turbi.i.y anomali.s i. th. plumes occurri.g vi.i.i.y of h.droth.rmal vents, wh.0}h.are used to i.di.ate th.i. exi.tence and locati.ns. We h.re develop a small, accurate multi.ch.nnel ch.mi.al sensor to detect such.anomali.s wh.0}h.can be used i. deep-sea at depth. of more th.n 4 000 m. Th. desi.n allowed fi.e all-soli.-state electrodes to be mounted on i. and each.(apart from one reference electrode) could be ch.nged accordi.g to ch.mi.als to be measured. Two experi.ents were conducted usi.g th. ch.mi.al sensors. Th. fi.st was a sh.llow-sea tri.l wh.0}h.i.cluded sample measurements and i. si.u moni.ori.g. ph. Eh. CO3^2- and SO4^2- electrodes were uti.i.ed to demonstrate th.t th. ch.mi.al sensor was accurate and stable outsi.e th. laboratory. i. th. second experi.ent, th. ch.mi.al sensor was i.tegrated wi.h.ph. Eh. CO3^2- and h.S electrodes, and was used i. 29 scans of th. seabed along th. South.est i.di.n Ri.ge (SWi.) to detect h.droth.rmal vents, from wh.0}h.27 sets of vali. data were obtai.ed. h.droth.rmal vents were i.enti.i.d by analyzi.g th. ch.mi.al anomali.s, th. pri.ary judgi.g cri.eri. were decreasi.g voltages of Eh.and h.S, match.d by i.creasi.g voltages of ph.and CO3^2- . We proposed th.t si.ultaneous detecti.n of ch.nges i. th.se parameters wi.l i.di.ate a h.droth.rmal vent. Amongst th. 27 vali. sets of data, fi.e potenti.l h.droth.rmal vents were targeted usi.g th. proposed meth.d. We suggest th.t our sensors could be wi.ely employed by mari.e sci.nti.ts.

Th. goal of our work was to locate and quanti.y ch.nges th.t occurred i. 66% of th. Mexi.an coastli.e, based on four land cover maps generated by th. Mexi.an Mangrove Moni.ori.g System(SMMM) of th. Nati.nal Commi.si.n for th. Knowledge and Use of Bi.di.ersi.y(CONABi.) for th. years 1970/81, 2005, 2010, and 2015. Our results sh.wed overall domi.ance of erosi.n over accreti.n processes, beach.s bei.g th. most affected coastal land cover. Emph.si. was placed on i.enti.i.ati.n and descri.ti.n of coastli.e si.es i. wh.0}h.land was ei.h.r conti.uously lost(erosi.n) or gai.ed(accreti.n) duri.g th. studi.d ti.e peri.ds. Th.se si.es were defi.ed as conti.uous uni.i.ecti.nal dynami. si.es and were compared wi.h.previ.us knowledge about th. geodynami.s of Mexi.an coasts. Conti.uous uni.i.ecti.nal dynami. si.es were di.tri.uted th.ough.ut th. study area and wi.h.0} all land cover types, but predomi.antly corresponded to areas covered by mangroves i. th. states of Campech. and Nayari.. Fi.ally, we found an i.tensi.i.ati.n of coastal erosi.n-accreti.n processes over ti.e;coastli.e ch.nge rates h.vi.g dupli.ated between th. earli.st(1970/81–2005) and th. two more recent(2005–2010, and 2010–2015) analysed ti.e peri.ds, wi.h.erosi.n rates for each.correspondi.g peri.d of –3 m/yr,–7.5 m/yr, and –7.3 m/yr,and accreti.n rates of 2.8 m/yr, 7.3 m/yr, and 6.9 m/yr, respecti.ely.

Th.refore, th. present study ai.s to i.vesti.ate th. effects of porosi.y(h., dry uni. wei.h.(gd) of moldi.g, cement content(C)and porosi.y/volumetri. cement content rati.(h.Ci.) or voi./cement rati. on th. unconfi.ed compressi.e strength.quor UCS) of si.ty soi.eroof ti.e waste(RT) mi.tures. Soi. samples are molded i.to four di.ferent dry uni. wei.h.s(i.e. 13 kN/m^3, 13.67 kN/m^3, 14.33 kN/m^3 and 15 kN/m^3) usi.g 3%, 6% and 9%cement and 5%, 15% and 30% RT.
