Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most common cancers in the world and is one of the leading indications for liver transplantation,liver transplantation is the gold standard treatment for end stage liver *** is based up on radiological characteristics and rarely biopsy *** treatment must be individualized to each patient to improve recurrences and *** this article,we focus on the different selection criteria for liver *** study aimed to investigate the distribution laws and research frontiers of international literature,so as to present holistic bibliometric evaluation of the studies on 5-year survival and disease-free recurrence in 5 years,according to hepatocarcinoma criteria for liver *** paper aims to review and analyze 5-year survival and disease-free recurrence based on hepatocarcinoma criteria for liver *** systematically examines and summarizes distribution characteristics and research frontiers through bibliometric analysis.A bibliographic search was implemented in PubMed/Medline,Clinical Key,Science Direct and Index Medicus with MESH terms,from the year 1996–*** selected for transplantation using the Metroticket 2.0(MT2)criteria had the highest overall survival along with patients selected for transplantation using the Milan Criteria had the best 5-year disease-free *** Metroticket 2.0 criteria(MT2)and Milan Criteria(MC)have shown the most favorable post-transplant outcomes for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,MC demonstrated the best 5-year disease-free recurrence rate,underscoring the significance of taking into account tumor morphology and biology when determining the eligibility of HCC patients for liver *** distribution characteristics and research frontiers by bibliometrics concerning prognostic role of selection criteria for liver transplantation in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma the collaboration

Reactive oxygen species, nitric oxide and plant cell death associated with caspase-like protease activity during somatic embryogenesis in Fraxinus mandshurica

Programmed cell death occurs in browning explants of Fraxinus mandshurica during somatic embryogenesis, but the underlying mechanism is unclear. In this study, single cotyledons of zygotic embryos of F. mandshurica were used as explants. Mitochondrial structure and function, caspase-3-like protease activity, hydrogen peroxide metabolism, and nitric oxide accumulation induced by high concentrations of sucrose and plant growth regulators were studied. The results show that plant growth regulators induced somatic embryogenesis and also promoted explant browning. High sucrose concentrations had similar effects. High concentrations of sucrose and plant growth regulators led to the accumulation of hydrogen peroxide and nitric oxide which induced changes in mitochondrial structure and function such as modifications in mitochondrial morphology, increased membrane permeability, decreased membrane potential, and the release of cytochrome c into the cytoplasm. An increase in caspase-3-like protease activity triggered programmed cell death in some browning explant cells. During somatic embryogenesis there were increased activities of superoxide dismutase, peroxidase, and catalase, which are associated with hydrogen peroxide metabolism and jointly maintain reactive oxygen species levels. Intracellular nitric oxide synthase and nitrate reductase activities were not significantly correlated with nitric oxide content. Instead, intracellular nitric oxide may be derived from non-enzymatic reactions. Our results indicate that hydrogen peroxide and nitric oxide may function as signals, playing key roles in somatic embryogenesis and programmed cell death of explant cells of F. mandshurica. The interaction between nitric oxide and reactive oxygen species determines the occurrence of programmed cell death in explant cells;somatic embryogenesis and programmed cell death are positively regulated by hydrogen peroxide. However, the regulation of nitric oxide is complex.

Background:To assess the clinical outcomes of the Visian Implantable Collamer Lens(ICL)with a central port throughout 7 years of ***:Eighty-four eyes of 52 patients were evaluated over a follow-up period of 7 years after V4c ICL ***(UDVA)and corrected(CDVA)distance visual acuities,refraction,intraocular pressure(IOP),endothelial cell density(ECD)and vault were ***:The mean postoperative UDVA(logMAR)was 0.04±0.11,0.13±0.19 and 0.17±0.23 at 1-,5-and 7-years,respectively(P20 mmHg or an increase higher than 5 mmHg)occurred in any case throughout the 7-year of *** loss in ECD from the preoperative baseline at the last follow-up visit was 2.6%.No intraoperative or postoperative complications or adverse events occurred during the follow-up ***:The outcomes of this study show the long-term viability of the V4c ICL implantation as a surgical option for the correction of myopia.

Software Project Management Approaches for Global Software Development： A Systematic Mapping Study

Global Software Development （GSD） is a well established field of software engineering with the benefits of a global environment. Software Project Management （SPM） plays a key role in the success of GSD. As a result, the need has arisen to study and evaluate the downsides of SPM for GSD, to thereby pave the way for the development of new methods, techniques, and tools with which to tackle them. This paper aims to identify and classify research on SPM approaches for GSD that are available in the literature, to identify their current weaknesses and strengths, and to analyze their applications in industry. We performed a Systematic Mapping Study （SMS） based on six classification criteria. Eighty-four papers were selected and analyzed. The results indicate that interest in SPM for GSD has been increasing since 2006. As a class of approaches, the most frequently reported methods （40%） are those used for coordination, planning, and monitoring, along with estimation techniques that can be used to better match a distributed project. SPM for GSD requires further investigation by researchers and practitioners, particularly with respect to cost and time estimations. These findings will help overcome the challenges that must to be considered in future SPM research for GSD, especially regarding collaboration and time-zone differences.

GM3-containing nanoparticles in immunosuppressed hosts:Effect on myeloid-derived suppressor cells

Cancer vaccines to date have not broadly achieved a significant impact on the overall survival of patients. The negative effect on the immune system of the tu-mor itself and conventional anti-tumor treatments such as chemotherapy is, undoubtedly, a key reason for these disappointing results. Myeloid-derived suppres-sor cells （MDSCs） are considered a central node of the immunosuppressive network associated with tumors. These cells inhibit the effector function of natural killer and CD8＋ T cells, expand regulatory T cells and can differentiate into tumor-associated macrophages within the tumor microenvironment. Thus, overcoming the suppressive effects of MDSCs is likely to be criti-cal for cancer immunotherapy to generate effective anti-tumor immune responses. However, the capacity of cancer vaccines and particularly their adjuvants to overcome this inhibitory population has not been well characterized. Very small size proteoliposomes （VSSP） is a nanoparticulated adjuvant specifcally designed to be formulated with vaccines used in the treatment of immunocompromised patients. This adjuvant contains immunostimulatory bacterial signals together with GM3 ganglioside. VSSP promotes dendritic cell maturation, antigen cross-presentation to CD8＋ T cells, Th1 polar-ization, and enhances CD8＋ T cell response in tumor-free mice. Currently, four cancer vaccines using VSSP as the adjuvant are in Phase？Ⅰ？and Ⅱ clinical trials. In this review, we summarize our work characterizing the unique ability of VSSP to stimulate antigen-specifc CD8＋ T cell responses in two immunocompromised sce-narios; in tumor-bearing mice and during chemother-apy-induced leukopenia. Particular emphasis has been placed on the interaction of these nanoparticles with MDSCs, as well as comparison with other cancer vac-cine adjuvants currently in preclinical or clinical studies.

Green and Sustainable Software has emerged as a new and highly active area in the software *** several years of research and work,we believe that it is now necessary to obtain a general snapshot of how the research in this area is *** do so,we have applied the 5 Ws(why,when,who,where,and what),a formula for getting the complete story on a *** have therefore carried out a study,using 542 publications related to Green and Sustainable Software research;these were recovered using *** results obtained allow us to conclude that it is important to identify key elements of the research to allow researchers be fully aware of the state of the research on Green and Sustainable Software(why);the study uses papers published between 2000 and the beginning of November 2018(when);the most prolific authors are mainly from Europe,although the USA is the most active country,Green and Sustainable Software being a very interactive area with a good number of multinational publications(who);the top five keywords related to sustainable aspects are Green Software,Green IT,Software Sustainability,Energy Consumption,and Energy Efficiency(what);finally,as regards the places authors prefer to publish in,there is almost a complete balance between conferences and journals,with a trend towards an increase in the number of publications(where).

Effects of a Cardiac Rehabilitation Program in Patients with Congenital Heart Disease

The beneficial effects of the programs of cardiac rehabilitation in adults are widely known. Nevertheless, the accomplishment of these programs in patients with congenital heart is scarcely developed. In this study, we want to evaluate the preliminary results of a program of cardiac rehabilitation. Patients and methods: Thirty-three patients aged 8 to 40 completed the rehabilitation program. Thirty-one of them had an operated congenital heart disease, one had an implantable cardioverter defibrillator, and another was a patient with arterial hypertension and obesity. Data before and after the program were compared. Results: Improvements were found in all of the measured parameters. We found a statistically significant difference in maximum heart rate, exercise duration, foreseen heart rate’s percentage and increase of metabolic equivalents. Twenty-seven of 33 patients noticed a significant improvement in their quality of life at the end of the program. Conclusion: Initial results seem to be encouraging and we consider the experience very positive since the program achieved an improvement in the functional capacity of our patients. In our opinion, these observations and the results of our study provide strong arguments for the incorporation of cardiac rehabilitation into the care of many patients with congenital heart disease.
