The effects of positron diffusion on the measured S parameter have been investigated by a point-source diffusion model and a δ function method. Firstly, the theoretical analyses of the effects are presented for the samples of a homogeneous semi-infinite medium and a film of definite thickness. Then the results are used to analyze the S parameters in several composite systems and interface models.

The squeeze casting of a 2024 Al alloy was carried out to investigate the effect on microsegregation in the alloy of the application of pressure followed by diffusion annealing. The experimental results indicate that an optimum applied pressure followed by an optimum diffusion annealing process can markedly reduce the degree of microsegregation and improve the mechanical properties to a degree that can approach the level of forged 2024 Al alloy.

The structure and magnetic properties of SmyFe100-1.5yC0.5y(y=8～20) alloys prepared by mechanical alloying (MA) from Sm, Fe and graphite have been investigated systematically. In order to improve hard magnetic properties of the alloys prepared by mechanical alloying, a new method consisting of re-milling and re-annealing was developed. After being re-milled and re-annealed, the Curie temperature TC of the Sm-Fe-C alloys changes. The TC of 2:17 phase increases, whereas the TC of 2:14:1 phase decreases. After being re-annealed at low temperatures, the grain sizes of hard phases are smaller than those in the alloys annealed at high temperatures. The effects of Co or Ti substitution for Fe are studied.

In order to understand the point defect structure in NiAl Intermetallic compound, the positron lifetime in binary Ni_(100-x)Al_x (53≥x≥45) and ternary B2 Ni_(50-x)Co_xAl_(50) (x=0, 5, 10, 15) intermetallic compounds as a function of composition were measured. It is shown that the positron lifetime spectra of these compounds can be consistently expressed by single-component lifetimes. The positron lifetime value in ternary Ni_(50-x)Co_xAl_(50) alloy is independent of Co content and equal to that detected in both stoichiometric and Al-rich NiAl. From an analysis of the present results, it is suggested that the constant lifetime ofт≈180 ps should be ascribed to saturation trapping and annihilation of positron exclusively at Ni vacancy, no evidence for the presence of Al vacancy is available.

Because of its broad spectrum and high efficiency,the microwave disinfection was used to control the airborne microbial contaminates in VAC *** microwave disinfection devices were developed combined with air filter,the design and calculation method was presented,and the disinfection effects on White staphylococcus,Staphylococcus aureus,Bacillus Subtilis,Escherichi coli were *** results show that the major influence factors on disinfection effect are microwave power,water-content of filter material,disinfecting *** 15 min,the kill ratio is >90%,and the log value is >*** microwave field is uniform and the kill effect of bacteria on each surface of filter is the same,without statistically significant difference.

The process of dislocation multiplication has been described hv chaos theory, trying to reveal the connection between the microstructures on the mesoscopic scale and the mechanical properties of material on the macroscopic scale. The relationship between the dislocation velocity exponent and the maximum of strain rate is given. The results obtained from logistic equation with exponent and the dislocation multiplication dynamic equation are compared. A scale law in one-dimension-map model with exponent is shown when the exponents of equations are changed.
