Background: Obstetric sonography is one of the prenatal tests offered to most pregnant women and an essential tool that helps health care providers to establish fetal condition and growth. The Objective: to assess the knowledge, attitudes, and practice about obstetric sonography among women at KAUH in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted during 2018-2019 among 367 women. It included all women that attend the OB/GYN outpatient clinic at KAUH in Jeddah. The data was collected through interviewing questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of 5 items to assess their knowledge, attitude, practice, and sociodemographic characteristics. Data were entered into a Microsoft Excel 2014 sheet, and statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics. Result: The mean knowledge score about obstetric sonography was 13.9 ± 1.7, where 343 (93.0%) had good knowledge, and only 26 (7.0%) had poor knowledge. Conjugated m.croporous polym.rs(Cm.s) are a unique class of porous organic m.terials, which are constructed with π-conjugation structures leading to intrinsic m.cropores. The Cm.s properties such as high surface area, intrinsic and rich m.cropores, interlocking and rigid structure, extensive π-conjugation and tunable band-gap, chem.cal and therm.l stability, together with tailored functionalities, contribute to its abundant potential for application in fields such as photocatalysis, optoelectronics, energy storage, and chem.cal sensors. Recently, Cm.s have gained im.ortance in the field of m.m.ranes for chem.cal separation. In this review, we briefly discuss the historical developm.nt of Cm.s, followed by a detailed description of the progress in state-of-the-art design, preparation, and application of Cm.s in m.m.ranes. Additionally, we provide inference on the future prospects of Cm.s as m.m.ranes.

This paper investigates the tidal as well as m.gnetic charge effects produced in dyonic Reissner-Nordstr¨om.black *** evaluate Newtonian radial acceleration using radial geodesics for freely falling test *** establish system.of equations governing radial and angular tidal forces using geodesic deviation equation and discuss their solutions for bodies falling freely towards this black *** radial tidal force turns out to be com.ressing outside the event horizon whereas the angular tidal force changes sign between event and Cauchy horizons unlike Schwarzschild black *** radial geodesic com.onent starts decreasing in dyonic Reissner-Nordstr¨om.black hole unlike Schwarzschild *** conclude that m.gnetic charge strongly affects the radial as well as angular com.onents of tidal force.

Transform.tion of low-volatility gaseous precursors to new particles affects aerosol num.er concentration,cloud form.tion and hence the *** clustering of acid and base m.lecules is a m.jor m.chanism.driving fast nucleation and initial growth of new particles in the ***,the acid-base cluster com.osition,m.asured using state-of-the-art m.ss spectrom.ters,cannot explain the m.asured high form.tion rate of new *** we present strong evidence for the existence of base m.lecules such as am.nes in the sm.llest atm.spheric sulfuric acid clusters prior to their detection by m.ss *** dem.nstrate that form.ng(H2SO4)1(am.ne)1is the rate-lim.ting step in atm.spheric H2SO4-am.ne nucleation and the uptake of(H2SO4)1(am.ne)1is a m.jor pathway for the initial growth of *** proposed m.chanism.is very consistent with m.asured new particle form.tion in urban Beijing,in which dim.thylam.ne is the key base for H2SO4nucleation while other bases such as am.onia m.y contribute to the growth of larger *** findings further underline the fact that strong am.nes,even at low concentrations and when undetected in the sm.llest clusters,can be crucial to particle form.tion in the planetary boundary layer.

For an odd prim. num.er p, and positive integers k and , we denote , a digraph for which is the set of vertices and there is a directed edge from.u to v if , where . In this work, we study isolated and non-isolated fixed points (or loops) in digraphs arising from.Discrete Lam.ert m.pping. It is shown that if , then all fixed points in are isolated. It is proved that the digraph has isolated fixed points only if . It has been characterized that has no cycles except fixed points if and only if either g is of order 2 or g is divisible by p. As an application of these loops, the solvability of the exponential congruence has been discussed.

This research work bloom. the new idea of developing a safe and controlled drug releasing m.trix using m.lti-walled carbon nanotubes(m.CNTs).In aqueous solution,uniform.and highly stable dispersion of m.CNTs was obtained after secondary functionalization with polyethylene glycol(PEG)which was studied by Fourier transm.ssion infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and therm.gravim.tric analysis(TGA).Solution casting m.thod was used to prepare m.CNTs/gelatin-chitosan nanocom.osite film. and the effect of m.CNTs on physico-m.chanical,therm.l and water uptake properties of the nanocom.osites were *** of m.CNTs into the porous gelatin-chitosan m.trix showed interesting stiffness and dam.ness along with developed m.crofibrillar structures within the pore walls intended at being used in tissue engineering of bone or cartilage.A com.on antibiotic drug,ciprofloxacin was incorporated into nanocom.osite *** evaluation of the effect of m.CNTs on drug release rate by dissolution test and antim.crobial susceptibility test was *** release of the drug was found at early stages(~1 h),but the rate was reduced afterwards,showing a sustained *** was observed that for all m.croorganism.,the antibacterial activities of drug loaded m.CNTs/gelatin-chitosan nanocom.osites were higher than that of drug loaded gelatin-chitosan com.osite film. containing no *** statistical studies by ANOVA techniques also showed rem.rkable difference between the antibacterial activities,exhibited by m.CNTs-incorporated and non-incorporated com.osite film..

The Process of Com.liance with Self-Care am.ng Patients with Hypertension: A Grounded Theory Study

Introduction: Controlling hypertension across world continues to be challenging. m.naging hypertension is not only concerned with lowering blood pressure by using antihypertensive m.dications;it also aim. to m.nim.ze its consequences through adopting self-care practices. Com.liance with self-care practices am.ng patients with hypertension is considered a m.ltidim.nsional phenom.non. The phenom.non of hypertension has been studied quantitatively, however;little qualitative studies were conducted to understand the com.liance with self-care am.ng patients with hypertension. Aim. To understand the process that patients with hypertension go through to com.ly with self-care practices. m.thods: This study used a qualitative design that followed constructivist grounded theory approach;purposive sam.ling was used to recruit participants from.cardiac clinics;sem. structured, in-depth and face-to-face interview was used as a m.jor m.thod for data collection. Findings: Four participants with hypertension participated in this study;the phenom.na of self-care was identified as the central phenom.na;the start of the disease was identified as a casual condition;beliefs toward hypertension disease, beliefs toward self-care practices, knowledge and awareness regarding hypertension disease and self-care practices were identified as strategies;experiencing self-care practices was identified as consequence and being patients with hypertension in a social context. Conclusions: The process of com.liance with self-care has a path of actions and interactions. The process started from.the m.m.nt of diagnosis where the patients start to think about self-care. The absence of health care context leads to varying level of com.liance with self-care am.ng patients with hypertension. This indicated the need for m.re effective patient and health care provider relationship, education and awareness cam.aign.
