Elastomers with outstanding strength,toughness and healing efficiency are highly promising for many emerging ***,it is still a challenge to integrate all these beneficial features in one ***,an asymmetric alicyclic structure adjacent to aromatic disulfide was tactfully introduced into the backbone of polyurethane(PU)***,such elastomer(PU-HPS)was fabricated by polycondensing polytetramethylene ether glycol(PTMEG),isophorone diisocyanate(IPDI)and p-hydroxydiphenyl disulfide(HPS)via one-pot *** molecular mobility and phase morphology of PU-HPS can be tuned by adjusting the HPS ***,the dynamic exchange of hydrogen and disulfide bonds in the hard segment domains can also be *** optimized sample manifests outstanding tensile strength(46.4 MPa),high toughness(109.1 MJ/m^(3)),high self-healing efficiency after fracture(90.3%),complete scratch recovery(100%)and good puncture ***,this work provides a facile strategy for developing robust self-healing polymers.

Variation of Soil Microbial Biomass and Enzyme Activities at Different Growth Stages of Rice (Oryza sativa)

A pot experiment was conducted under submerged conditions with hybrid rice Zhenong 7 to study the variation in the soil microbial biomass carbon （Cmic）, soil microbial biomass nitrogen （Nmic）, soil respiration rate, soil microbial metabolic quotient, soil enzyme activities, chlorophyll content, proline content and peroxidase activity （POD） in rice leaf at different growth stages. The soil Cmic, Nmic and soil respiration rate significantly increased at the early stage and then declined during rice growth, but ascended slightly at maturity. However, soil metabolic quotient declined at all the stages. Soil urease activity increased at first and then decreased, while acid phosphatase and dehydrogenase activities descended before ascended and then descended again. Soil urease activity and acid phosphatase activity showed a peak value at the tillering stage about 30 days after rice transplanting, but the peak value of dehydrogenase activity emerged at about 50 days after rice transplanting and the three soil enzymatic activities were significantly different at the different developmental stages. As rice growing, chlorophyll content in rice leaf descended at the early stage then ascended and a peak value appeared at about the 70th after rice transplanting, after that declined drastically, while POD activity increased gradually, but proline content declined gradually. There was a slight relation between rice physiological indices and soil biochemical indices, which indicated that soil biochemical characteristics were affected significantly by rice growth in the interaction system of the rice. soil and microorganisms.

Natural rubber (NR) is widely used in various fields including aerospace, military industry and transportation due to its superior elasticity and comprehensive mechanical properties. Nonetheless, the commercial NR prepared by different methods usually exhibits different mechanical properties, primarily due to variations in processing conditions during the conversion from latex to bulk rubber material. Consequently, this poses challenges in scientific research and industrial production of NR. In order to assess the properties of various commercially available NR and identify key structural and compositional components, this study systematically compares and analyzes four representative NR raw materials: air dried sheet (ADS), ribbed smoked sheets (RSS), constant viscidity NR (CV), and whole field latex rubber (WF). The investigation focuses on evaluating their static mechanical behavior, SIC behavior, wear resistance, and fatigue resistance. The findings indicate that protein and gel content exhibit a crucial influence on the NR properties. These constituents contribute to the formation of a high-crosslinking density region, generating a heterogeneous network structure within the rubber. This structure amplifies strains during deformation, leading to earlier and stronger strain-induced crystallization (SIC). Among the four commercial NR brands, RSS demonstrates superior overall mechanical and dynamic properties owing to its high protein and gel content. This study serves as a valuable reference for comprehending the differences in properties among various commercial NR, thereby offering guidance for the actual processing and selection of NR.

ATAD3A is a mitochondrial membrane protein belonging to the ATPase family that contains the AAA+*** is widely involved in mitochondrial metabolism,protein transport,cell growth,development and other important life *** has previously been reported that the deletion of ATAD3A causes growth and development defects in humans,mice and Caenorhabditis *** delve into the mechanism underlying ATAD3A defects and their impact on development,we constructed a Bombyx mori ATAD3A(BmATAD3A)defect model in silkworm *** aim to offer a reference for understanding ATAD3A genetic defects and elucidating the molecular regulatory *** results showed that knockout of the BmATAD3A gene significantly affected the weight,survival rate,ATPase production and mitochondrial metabolism of individuals after 24 h of *** metabolomics and transcriptomics analysis further demonstrated that BmATAD3A knockout inhibits amino acid biosynthesis through the regulation of mitochondrial ribosomal protein ***,our findings indicate that BmATAD3A knockout impeded mitochondrial activity and ATPase synthesis and suppressed the mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation pathway through *** mitochondrial ribosomal protein L11(BmmRpL11).These results provide novel insights into the molecular mechanisms involved in the inhibition of development caused by ATAD3A deficiency,offering a potential direction for targeted therapy in diseases associated with abnormal ATAD3A expression.

TGNet:Intelligent Identification of Thunderstorm Wind Gusts Using Multimodal Fusion

Thunderstorm wind gusts are small in scale,typically occurring within a range of a few *** is extremely challenging to monitor and forecast thunderstorm wind gusts using only automatic weather ***,it is necessary to establish thunderstorm wind gust identification techniques based on multisource high-resolution *** paper introduces a new algorithm,called thunderstorm wind gust identification network(TGNet).It leverages multimodal feature fusion to fuse the temporal and spatial features of thunderstorm wind gust *** shapelet transform is first used to extract the temporal features of wind speeds from automatic weather stations,which is aimed at distinguishing thunderstorm wind gusts from those caused by synoptic-scale systems or ***,the encoder,structured upon the U-shaped network(U-Net)and incorporating recurrent residual convolutional blocks(R2U-Net),is employed to extract the corresponding spatial convective characteristics of satellite,radar,and lightning ***,by using the multimodal deep fusion module based on multi-head cross-attention,the temporal features of wind speed at each automatic weather station are incorporated into the spatial features to obtain 10-minutely classification of thunderstorm wind *** products have high accuracy,with a critical success index reaching *** with those of U-Net and R2U-Net,the false alarm rate of TGNet products decreases by 31.28%and 24.15%,*** new algorithm provides grid products of thunderstorm wind gusts with a spatial resolution of 0.01°,updated every *** results are finer and more accurate,thereby helping to improve the accuracy of operational warnings for thunderstorm wind gusts.

Calcium is a crucial macronutrient and functions as a widespread signal in eukaryotes,ranging from yeast,plants to *** crucial second messengers,calcium ions(Ca^(2+))play indispensable roles in plant growth and development,response to external stressors,and signal transduction by modulating downstream cellular responses,including gene expression,metabolic activities,and transport functions[1,2].Unlike other nutrients,the levels of Ca^(2+)in the extracellular space and in certain intracellular stores are typically 10,000 times higher than resting cytoplasmic Ca^(2+)([Ca^(2+)]_(cyt))*** substantial gradient poses potential risks of[Ca^(2+)]_(cyt)overload and toxicity,and it can also lead to a rapid and transient increase in[Ca^(2+)]_(cyt),which is a key signaling mechanism for plants to respond to environmental *** mitigate the cytotoxicity of Ca^(2+)and continuously maintain the potential to generate specific Ca^(2+)signals,it is essential to keep the resting[Ca^(2+)]_(cyt)at a low level of approximately 100 nmol/L[3].Calcium homeostasis is fundamental for maintaining cellular function and organismal health in plants.
