The titanium alloys with highly chemical activity require stable crucible refractories that can withstand the erosion of alloy *** phase composition and microstructure are crucial factors that affect the stability of the refractory *** effect of Y_(2)O_(3. on the composition and microstructure of BaZrO_(3. crucible was systematically investigated,and the improved mechanism of the stability of BaZrO_(3./Y_(2)O_(3. crucible was clarified in comparison with the BaZrO_(3. *** results showed that the erosion layer thickness of the BaZrO_(3./Y_(2)O_(3. crucible was only 63.m,which was far less than that in the BaZrO_(3. crucible(485μm),and the erosion layer in the BaZrO_(3./Y_(2)O_(3. crucible also exhibited a higher density than that in the BaZrO_(3. *** the sintering,Y_(2)O_(3. could improve the densification of the BaZrO_(3. crucible due to the solid solution effect between Y_(2)O_(3. and ZrO_(2),which also caused the evaporation of BaO,resulting in the generation of a Y_(2)O_(3.(ZrO_(2))film on the surface of the ***,the Y_(2)O_(3.(ZrO_(2))had higher thermodynamic stability than Y_(2)O_(3.,confirming that the BaZrO_(3./Y_(2)O_(3. crucible with high density exhibited a superior erosion resistance to titanium *** dual-phase structure provides a strategy to design a long-life and stable refractory for melting titanium alloys.

BACKGROUND Bone healing is a complex process involving early inflammatory immune regu-lation,angiogenesis,osteogenic differentiation,and *** repair poses challenges for orthopedic surgeons,necessitating the search for efficient healing *** To investigate the underlying mechanism by which hydrogel-loaded exosomes derived from bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)facilitate the process of fracture *** Hydrogels and loaded BMSC-derived exosome(BMSC-exo)gels were charac-terized to validate their *** vitro evaluations were conducted to assess the impact of hydrogels on various stages of the healing *** could recruit macrophages and inhibit inflammatory responses,enhance of human umbilical vein endothelial cell angiogenesis,and promote the osteogenic differen-tiation of primary cranial ***,the effect of hydrogel on fracture healing was confirmed using a mouse fracture *** The hydrogel effectively attenuated the inflammatory response during the initial repair stage and subsequently facilitated vascular migration,promoted the formation of large vessels,and enabled functional vascularization during bone *** effects were further validated in fracture *** We successfully fabricated a hydrogel loaded with BMSC-exo that modulates macrophage polarization and angiogenesis to influence bone regeneration.

CN x /SiCN composite films were prepared on titanium ( Ti ) alloy substrates by Radio Frequency Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition ( RF\|PECVD ). As a buffer layer, SiCN ensured the adhesion of the CN x thin films on Ti substrates. X\|ray diffraction ( XRD) measurement revealed that the composite films possessed α\|C 3. N 4 structure. The microhardness of the films was 48 to 50 GPa. In order to test the characteristics of wear and corrosion resistances, we prepared Ti alloy samples with and without CN x /SiCN composite films. Also for strengthening the effect of wear and corrosion, the wear tests were carried out under high load (12 MPa) and in 0.9% NaCl solution. Results of the wear tests and the corrosive electrochemical measurements showed that the samples coated with CN x films had excellent characteristics of wear and corrosion resistances compared with Ti alloy substrate samples.

A chemical co-precipitation strategy was employed to synthesize a series of(Gd_(0.95−x)lu_(x)Eu_(0.05))_(3.Al_(5)O_(12)(x=0.1−0.95)powder phosphors,followed by vacuum sintering to achieve transparent garnet ceramic *** density functional theory indicated lu_(3.Al_(5)O_(12) was formed in priority compared with Gd_(3.Al_(5)O_(12) during solid-phase *** high-temperature sintering,the lu^(3.)substitution for Gd^(3.)suppressed point mass diffusion leading to a smaller grain *** in-line transmittances of bulk specimens with x=0.1,0.3.0.5,0.7,and 0.95 nm were~83.5%,80.1%,68.8%,73.7%,and 82.2%at 710 nm(Eu^(3.)emission center),respectively,among which the sample of x=0.1 exhibited the optical grade with near-zero optical loss in agreement with the defect-free single crystal(~100%of the theoretical transmittance).The resulting particle and ceramic materials both presented characteristic Eu^(3.)emission arising from 5D0→7FJ(J=1−4)transition,where the dominant far-red emission at~710 nm arising from ^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(4) transition overlapped with the absorption of phytochrome(PFR).The photoluminescence excitation and photoluminescence intensities of(Gd_(0.95−x)lu_(x)Eu_(0.05))_(3.Al_(5)O_(12) powders and ceramics generally increased at a higher Gd^(3.)/lu^(3.)***^(3.)dopants delayed the fluorescence lifetime while the bulk samples had shorter lifetime compared to the particle *** transparent(Gd_(0.85)lu_(0.1)Eu_(0.05))3.l_(5)O_(12) ceramic phosphor exhibited good thermal stability with a high thermal quenching temperature above 53. *** designed ceramic phosphor-converted light-emitting diode had a saturation injection current of 43. mA and a current-dependent color rendering *** importantly,our report marked the developmental stage of transparent ceramic materials towards zero optical loss.

In this study,direct numerical simulations were conducted to investigate the compressible flow around a circular cylinder near a heated wall at a Reynolds number(Re)of 500 and a Mach number(Ma)of *** heating ratio T^(*)ranging from 1.0 to 1.6 represents the different situations of a heated wall,whereas the gap ratio ranges from 0.3.to *** study analyzed the impact of heating effect and wall proximity on flow characteristics and aerodynamic *** results indicated that the stability of the flow was enhanced as the gap ratio decreased or the heating ratio *** the calculation of enstrophy,it was found that the strength of shedding vortices weakens with a decrease in gap ratio or an increase in heating ***,the mean drag coefficient decreases as the heating ratio increases or the gap ratio *** contrast,the mean lift coefficient initially decreases and then increases as the gap ratio ***,the drag reduction mechanism was analyzed by examining the pressure distribution on the surface of the cylinder.

Increasing the electrode thickness is a significant method to decrease the weight and volume ratio of the inactive components for high energy density of the *** this contribution,we extracted a repeating unit in the configurations and establish the empirical energy density model based on some *** this model,the effects of the electrode thickness on the energy density for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),lithium metal batteries(LMBs),and anode-free lithium batteries(ALBs)are evaluated quantitively with the current parameters of the *** results demonstrate that the structure evolutions from LIBs,LMBs to ALBs with the reduction of the anode weight contribution,the energy density can be well improved *** the increase of the thickness of the electrode provide another route to furthe r enhance the energydensity by decreasing the weight contribution of inactive materials;meanwhile the effects for ALBs are higher than LMBs and LIBs due to the higher weight ratio of inactive *** empirical energy density model is also applied into the practical system and provide intuitional results to guide the battery design for higher energy density.
