A variety of electromagnetic wave absorption materials(EMWAs)have been reported,but the integration of powder materials and multifunctional devices should be investigated in-depth to adapt to practical demands.Herein,carbon-coated cobalt composites were prepared by adsorbing magnetic metal cations into an anionic crystalline framework through an electrostatic encapsulate process.Excellent reflection loss(RL_(min))of-40.49 d B and effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 5.36 GHz(RLlulose(CMC)aerogel to create an ultra-lightweight composite aerogel that is compressive resistant and heat-holding while also having photothermal conversion capabilities.The hydrophobic modification makes it more widely useful.This study provides a new strategy for EWAMs to integrate versatility and improve their application prospects.

Optimization of operational strategies for rich gas enhanced oil recovery based on a pilot test in the Bakken tight oil reservoir

Horizontal well drilling and multistage hydraulic fracturing have been demonstrated as effective approaches for stimulating oil production in the Bakken tight oil reservoir.However,after multiple years of production,primary oil recovery in the Bakken is generally less than 10%of the estimated original oil in place.Gas huff‘n’puff(HnP)has been tested in the Bakken Formation as an enhanced oil recovery(EOR)method;however,most field pilot test results showed no significant incremental oil production.One of the factors affecting HnP EOR performance is premature gas breakthrough,which is one of the most critical issues observed in the field because of the presence of interwell fractures.Consequently,injected gas rapidly reaches adjacent production wells without contacting reservoir rock and increasing oil recovery.Proper conformance control is therefore needed to avoid early gas breakthrough and improve EOR performance.In this study,a rich gas EOR pilot in the Bakken was carefully analyzed to collect the essential reservoir and operational data.A simulation model with 16 wells was then developed to reproduce the production history and predict the EOR performance with and without conformance control.EOR operational strategies,including single-and multiple-well HnP,with different gas injection constraints were investigated.The simulation results of single-well HnP without conformance control showed that a rich gas injection rate of at least 10 MMscfd was needed to yield meaningful incremental oil production.The strategy of conformance control via water injection could significantly improve oil production in the HnP well,but injecting an excessive amount of water also leads to water breakthrough and loss of oil production in the offset wells.By analyzing the production performance of the wells individually,the arrangement of wells was optimized for multiple-well HnP EOR.The multiwell results showed that rich gas EOR could improve oil production up to 7.4%by employing conformance control strategies.Furthermore,replacing r

AIM:To define the predictive factors of severe retinopathy of prematurity(ROP)and develop a nomogram for predicting severe ROP in southeast China.METHODS:Totally 554 infants diagnosed with ROP hospitalized in the Second Affiliated Hospital and Yuying Children’s Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University and hospitalized in Taizhou Women and Children’s Hospital were included.Clinical data and 43 candidate predictive factors of ROP infants were collected retrospectively.Logistic regression model was used to identify predictive factors of severe ROP and to propose a nomogram for individual risk prediction,which was compared with WINROP model and Digirop-Birth model.RESULTS:Infants from the Second Affiliated Hospital and Yuying Children’s Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University(n=478)were randomly allocated into training(n=402)and internal validation group(n=76).Infants from Taizhou Women and Children’s Hospital were set as external validation group(n=76).Severe ROP were found in 52 of 402 infants,12 of 76 infants,and 7 of 76 infants in training group,internal validation group,and external validation group,respectively.Birth weight[odds ratio(OR),0.997;95%confidence interval(CI),0.996-0.999;P<0.001],multiple births(OR,1.885;95%CI,1.013-3.506;P=0.045),and non-invasive ventilation(OR,0.288;95%CI,0.146-0.570;P<0.001)were identified as predictive factors for the prediction of severe ROP,by univariate analysis and multivariate analysis.For predicting severe ROP based on the internal validation group,the areas under receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)was 78.1(95%CI,64.2-92.0)for the nomogram,32.9(95%CI,15.3-50.5)for WINROP model,70.2(95%CI,55.8-84.6)for Digirop-Birth model.In external validation group,AUC of the nomogram was also higher than that of WINROP model and Digirop-Birth model(80.2 versus 51.1 and 63.4).The decision curve analysis of the nomogram demonstrated better clinical efficacy than that of WINROP model and Digirop-Birth model.The calibration curves demonstrated a good consistency between the actual seve

We present a comprehensive analysis of the 2021 outburst of MAXI J1803–298 utilizing observations of the Insight-Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(Insight-HXMT) spanning from the low hard state to the high soft state.Within the Insight-HXMT data set, compared to the previous work, we identify a more prolonged presence of typeC quasi-periodic oscillations(QPOs) with centroid frequencies ranging from ～0.16 to 6.3 Hz, which present correlations with the hardness ratio and the photon index of the Comptonized component. For QPO frequencies less than ～2 Hz, the QPO phase lags are hard(photons of 10–19 keV arrive later than those of 1–4 keV), while at higher frequencies, the lags become soft at and above ～4 Hz. Furthermore, the spectra in all Insight-HXMT observations consist of a multi-color blackbody component and a Comptonized component, as commonly observed in classical black hole X-ray binaries. We analyze state transitions and the evolution of accretion geometry in this work. The fitted inner disk radius increases abnormally during the low hard state, hypothesized to result from the corona condensing onto the inner disk. Additionally, two significant drops in flux are observed during the soft intermediate state, maybe implying changes in the corona/jet and the disk, respectively.

多发性骨髓瘤(MM)是发病率排名第二的血液系统恶性肿瘤, 2016年中国大陆地区MM发病率为1.15/10万, 随着中国老龄化社会的发展, MM的发病率预计会逐年提高。MM的免疫治疗继自体造血干细胞移植、免疫调节剂、蛋白酶体抑制剂之后已成为第四大支柱疗法, 是MM治疗中最为活跃的领域。目前在中国获批用于MM治疗的新药已有9个, 2024年有望获批的尚有3个, 均集中在免疫治疗领域。这一新兴领域的分类在中国的研究及使用现状尚存在诸多模糊之处。如何清晰定位这些药品在中国MM患者中的地位是现阶段管理MM患者的医师们面临的重要任务。MM的免疫治疗主要包括抗体类药物治疗和细胞免疫治疗两大类。抗体类药物主要包括单克隆抗体、T细胞衔接器、IgG样双特异性抗体及三特异性抗体。细胞免疫治疗主要包括嵌合抗原受体T细胞以及其他免疫细胞(嵌合抗原受体自然杀伤细胞、树突状细胞、T细胞受体工程化T细胞、多肽疫苗)。本文主要围绕上述免疫治疗方法的研究现状以及存在的问题进行阐述, 以期为MM的治疗提供参考。

Although chemotherapy has been intensively applied in cancer treatments,its inadequate therapeutic efficacy and severe side effects are still under constant concerns.Nanoplatforms used as anti-tumor drug delivery system （DDS） have attracted tremendous attentions owing to their various intriguing properties.Herein,Mn-doped Mo O2nanoparticles coated with Zr O2and capped with Bi2O3have been designed as a DDS,namely MMZB.MMZB possesses good magnetic properties,great photothermal conversion ability,sensitive tumor microenvironment （TME） responsiveness,and good biocompatibility in hemocompatibility in vitro.Thus,MMZB has been utilized to load the chemotherapeutic agent daunomycin（DNM）(MMZB@DNM) for chemo-photothermal combined therapy.MMZB@DNM demonstrates a more impressive anti-cancer effect than the individual photothermal or chemotherapy both in vitro and in vivo.Furthermore,the analysis of tumor specimen sections and serum levels after the treatment indicates negligible side effects for MMZB@DNM in vivo.This contribution provides a valuable concept in designing therapeutic agents for achieving significantly enhanced tumor treatments,which benefits from the synergistic combination of chemotherapy and photothermal therapy in one single nanoagent.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is associated with mutations in lipopolysaccharide-binding protein(LBP),but the underlying epigenetic mechanisms remain understudied.Herein,LBP^(-/-)rats with NAFLD were established and used to conduct integrative targetingactive enhancer histone H3 lysine 27 acetylation(H3K27ac)chromatin immunoprecipitation coupled with high-throughput and transcriptomic sequencing analysis to explore the potential epigenetic pathomechanisms of active enhancers of NAFLD exacerbation upon LBP deficiency.Notably,LBP^(-/-)reduced the inflammatory response but markedly aggravated high-fat diet(HFD)-induced NAFLD in rats,with pronounced alterations in the histone acetylome and regulatory transcriptome.In total,1128 differential enhancer-target genes significantly enriched in cholesterol and fatty acid metabolism were identified between wild-type(WT)and LBP^(-/-)NAFLD rats.Based on integrative analysis,CCAAT/enhancer-binding proteinβ(C/EBPβ)was identified as a pivotal transcription factor(TF)and contributor to dysregulated histone acetylome H3K27ac,and the lipid metabolism gene SCD was identified as a downstream effector exacerbating NAFLD.This study not only broadens our understanding of the essential role of LBP in the pathogenesis of NAFLD from an epigenetics perspective but also identifies key TF C/EBPβand functional gene SCD as potential regulators and therapeutic targets.

Objective: Heterogeneity of participants in clinical trials distorts intervention efficacy. However, factors associated with participant heterogeneity in randomized clinical trials (RCTs) focusing on systemic sclerosis (SSc) are not clear. We conducted this systematic review to establish normative standards for future research and help develop management guidelines.Methods: Three databases and 4 registries were searched to identify characteristics of SSc RCTs across different countries. Risk of bias was assessed by the Cochrane Collaboration’s tool and logistic regression was performed to calculate crude and adjusted odds ratios.Results: In total, 261 trials met our inclusion criteria. The quality of SSc RCTs worldwide was relatively poor, with no trend of improvement in recent years, and only 12.2% were ranked as having a low risk of bias. Trials with a low risk of bias as well as single-center, single-country, or open-label trials tended to have better participant adherence than trials with a high risk of bias and multiple-center, multiple-country, or double-blind trials. Interestingly, trial registration and primary outcome definition contributed to high withdrawal. National income was also relevant; participant adherence in high-income countries, but not in upper- and lower-middle-income countries, was significantly altered by different variables.Conclusion: Overall, the risk of bias, national income, and trial design may lead to participant heterogeneity of SSc RCTs and ultimately confound the general clinical utility of the results. Trials with a rigorous design and transparent conduction protocol are crucial for obtaining unbiased data that can serve as a reference and for maintaining the fundamental repeatability of SSc RCTs.
