The variations in precipitation have displayed a complex pattern in different regions since the *** formation processes may have a significant impact on precipitation,especially during the tropical marine processes and summer monsoon which convey abundant water vapor to coastal southern China and inland ***,we use two 7500 year sedimentary records from the Pearl River Delta and the closed Maar Lake,respectively,in coastal southern China to reconstruct the mid-to-late-Holocene humidity variability and explore its possible relationship with cloud cover modulated by the Earth’s magnetic fields(EMF).Our proxy records document an apparent increase in wetness in coastal southern China between 3.0 and 1.8 kyr *** apparent increase in humidity appears to be consistent with the lower virtual axial dipole moments and,in turn,with a lower *** correlation suggests that the EMF might have been superimposed on the weakened monsoon to regulate the mid-to-late-Holocene hydroclimate in coastal southern China through the medium of galactic cosmic rays,aerosols,and cloud ***,further investigations are needed to verify this interaction.

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs),PAnHs,and peptoids dust spectral calculations from the interstellar medium(ISM)are important for dust observations and *** goal is to calculate the radiation spectrum of spherical PAHs dust clusters in a vacuum containing ionized and applied in the presence of an electric *** propose a new simple computational model to calculate the size of three-dimensional spherical dust clusters formed by different initial dust *** the Vienna Ab-initio Simulation Package code,the density functional theory with the generalized approximation was used to calculate the electron density gradient and obtain the radiation spectrum of *** the radius of spherical dust clusters is~[0.009-0.042]μm,the dust radiation spectrum agrees well with the Z=0.02 mMMP stellar spectra,and the PAHs radiation spectrum of nGC 4676 at wavelengths of(0-5]μm and(5-10]μm,*** the ionized state,the n-PAH,C_(10)H_(9)n,2(C_(4)H_(4))^(1+),and peptoids 4(CHOn),(C_(8)H_(10)n_(2)O_(5))^(1+)dust clusters at 3.3μm,while the 2(C_(22)H_(21)n_(3)O_(2))^(1+),4(CHOn)dust clusters at 5.2μm have obvious *** is a characteristic of part of PAHs and peptoids clusters radiation at the nearinfrared wavelength of 2μ***,especially after applying an electric field to the dust,the emission spectrum of the dust increases significantly in the radiation wavelength range[3-10]μ***,the dust clusters of PAHs,PAnHs,and peptoids of the radius size~[0.009-0.042]μm are likely to exist in the ISM.

The development and vigor of soil microorganisms in terrestrial ecosystems are frequently constrained by the limited availability of essential elements such as carbon(C),nitrogen(n),and phosphorus(P).In this study,we investigated the impact of long-term application of varying levels of organic manure,low(7.5 Mg ha^(−1)yr^(−1)),moderate(15.0 Mg ha^(−1)yr^(−1)),and high(22.5 Mg ha^(−1)yr^(−1)),on the stoichiometry of enzymes and the structures of the microbial communities in soybean rhizospheric and bulk *** main goal of this research was to examine how soil microbial resource limitations in the rhizosphere respond to different long-term fertilization *** soil enzymatic activities were quantified,and the structure of the microbial community was assessed by analyzing phospholipid fatty acid *** compared to the bulk soil,the rhizospheric soil had significant increases in microbial biomass carbon(MBC),nitrogen(MBn),and phosphorus(MBP),with MBC increasing by 54.19 to 72.86%,MBn by 47.30 to 48.17%,and MBP by 17.37 to 208.47%.Compared with the unfertilized control(CK),the total microbial biomasses of the rhizospheric(increased by 22.80 to 90.82%)and bulk soils(increased by 10.57 to 60.54%)both exhibited increases with the application of organic manure,and the rhizospheric biomass was higher than that of bulk *** with bulk soil,the activities of C-,n-and P-acquiring enzymes of rhizospheric soil increased by 22.49,14.88,and 29.45%under high levels of organic manure,*** of vector length,vector angle,and scatter plots revealed that both rhizospheric and bulk soils exhibited limitations in terms of both carbon(C)and phosphorus(P)*** results of partial least-squares path modelling indicated that the rhizospheric soil exhibited a more pronounced response to the rate of manure application than the bulk *** varying reactions of rhizospheric and bulk soils to the extended application of organic manure underscore

Defects evolution in n-type 4H-SiC induced by electron irradiation and annealing

Radiation damage produced in 4H-SiC by electrons of different doses is presented by using multiple characterization techniques. Raman spectra results indicate that SiC crystal structures are essentially impervious to 10 Me V electron irradiation with doses up to 3000 kGy. However, irradiation indeed leads to the generation of various defects, which are evaluated through photoluminescence(PL) and deep level transient spectroscopy(DLTS). The PL spectra feature a prominent broad band centered at 500 nm, accompanied by several smaller peaks ranging from 660 to 808 nm. The intensity of each PL peak demonstrates a linear correlation with the irradiation dose, indicating a proportional increase in defect concentration during irradiation. The DLTS spectra reveal several thermally unstable and stable defects that exhibit similarities at low irradiation ***, after irradiating at the higher dose of 1000 kGy, a new stable defect labeled as R_(2)(Ec-0.51 eV) appeared after annealing at 800 K. Furthermore, the impact of irradiation-induced defects on SiC junction barrier Schottky diodes is discussed. It is observed that high-dose electron irradiation converts SiC n-epilayers to semi-insulating layers. However, subjecting the samples to a temperature of only 800 K results in a significant reduction in resistance due to the annealing out of unstable defects.

Currently,the major challenge in terms of research on K-ion batteries is to ensure that they possess satisfactory cycle stability and specific capacity,especially in terms of the intrinsically sluggish kinetics induced by the large radius of K+***,we explore high-performance K-ion half/full batteries with high rate capability,high specific capacity,and extremely durable cycle stability based on carbon nanosheets with tailored n dopants,which can alleviate the change of volume,increase electronic conductivity,and enhance the K+ion *** as-assembled K-ion half-batteries show an excellent rate capability of 468 mA h g^(−1) at 100 mA g^(−1),which is superior to those of most carbon materials reported to ***,the as-assembled half-cells have an outstanding life span,running 40,000 cycles over 8 months with a specific capacity retention of 100%at a high current density of 2000 mA g^(−1),and the target full cells deliver a high reversible specific capacity of 146 mA h g^(−1) after 2000 cycles over 2 months,with a specific capacity retention of 113%at a high current density of 500 mA g^(−1),both of which are state of the art in the field of K-ion *** study might provide some insights into and potential avenues for exploration of advanced K-ion batteries with durable stability for practical applications.
