Bulbophyllum is the largest genus in Orchidaceae with a pan tropical *** to highly significant diversifications,it is considered to be one of the most taxonomically and phylogenetically complex *** diversification pattern and evolutionary adaptation of chloroplast genomes are poorly understood in this species-rich genus,and suitable molecular markers are necessary for species determination and phylogenetic analysis.A natural Asian section Macrocaulia was selected to estimate the interspecific divergence of chloroplast genomes in this ***,we sequenced the complete chloroplast genome of four Bulbophyllum species,including three species from section *** four chloroplast genomes had a typical quadripartite structure with a genome size ranged from 156,182 to 158,524 *** chloroplast genomes included 113 unique genes encoding 79 proteins,30 tRNAs and 4 *** of the four chloroplast genomes showed that the three species from section Macrocaulia had similar structure and gene contents,and shared a number of indels,which mainly contribute to its *** addition,interspecific divergence level was also *** exclusive indels and polymorphism SSR loci might be used for taxonomical identification and determining interspecific polymorphisms.A total of 20 intergenic regions and three coding genes of the most variable hotspot regions were proposed as candidate effective molecular markers for future phylogenetic relationships at different taxonomical levels and species divergence in *** of chloroplast genes in four Bulbophyllum species were under purifying selection,while 13 sites within six genes exhibited sitespecific selection.A whole chloroplast genome phylogenetic analysis based on Maximum Likelihood,Bayesian and Parsimony methods all supported the monophyly of section Macrocaulia and the genus of *** findings provide valuable molecular markers to use in accurately identifying species,clar

An 80-GHz DCO based on modified hybrid tuning banks is introduced in this *** achieve sub-MHz frequency res-olution with reduced circuit complexity,the improved circuit topology replaces the conventional circuit topology with two binary-weighted SC cells,enabling eight SC-cell-based improved SC ladders to achieve the same fine-tuning steps as twelve SC-cell-based conventional SC *** achieve lower phase noise and smaller chip size,the promoted binary-weighted digi-tally controlled transmission lines(DCTLs)are used to implement the coarse and medium tuning banks of the *** to the conventional thermometer-coded DCTLs,control bits of the proposed DCTLs are reduced from 30 to 8,and the total length is reduced by 34.3%(from 122.76 to 80.66μm).Fabricated in 40-nm CMOS,the DCO demonstrated in this work fea-tures a small fine-tuning step(483 kHz),a high oscillation frequency(79-85 GHz),and a smaller chip size(0.017 mm^(2)).Com-pared to previous work,the modified DCO exhibits an excellent figure of merit with an area(FoMA)of-198 dBc/Hz.

There are often many chemicals coexisting in aquatic ecosystems, and few information on the joint toxicity of a mixture of organic pollutants is available at present. The 48-h toxicity of substituted phenols and anilines and their binary mixtures to Scenedesmus obliquus was determined by the algae inhibition test. The median effective inhibition concentration EC50 values for single compounds and EC50mix values for coexistent compounds were obtained. The n-octanol/water partition coefficient （logPmlx） and the frontier orbital energy gap （AEmlx） for mixtures were calculated. The following two-descriptor quantitative structure-activity relationships （QSARs） models were developed to predict single toxicity and joint toxicity respectively： log（1/ECs0） = 0.445logP - 0.801AE ＋ 9.501 （r2 = 0.876） and log （1/EC50mix） = 0.338logPmix- 0.492AEmix ＋ 6.928 （r^2 = 0.831）. The two equations were found to fit well. In addition, the model derived from the structural parameters of single components in binary mixtures log（1/EC50mix） = 0.2221ogP - 0.277AE ＋ 5.250 （r^2 = 0.879） can be used successfully to predict the toxicity of a mixture.

Towards high-performance packet processing on commodity multi-cores: current issues and future directions

The demands of programmability have become more and more exigent as novel network services appear, such as E-commerce, social softwares, and online videos. Commodity multi-core CPUs have been widely applied in network packet processing to get high programmability and reduce the time-to-market. However,there is a great gap between the packet processing performance of commodity multi-core and that of the traditional packet processing hardware, e.g., NP(Network Process). Recently, optimization of the packet processing performance of commodity multi-cores has become a hot topic in industry and academia. In this paper, based on a detailed analysis of the packet processing procedure, firstly we identify two dominating overheads, namely the virtual-to-physical address translation and the packet buffer management. Secondly, we make a comprehensive survey on the current optimization methods. Thirdly, based on the survey, the heterogeneous architecture of the commodity multi-core + FPGA is proposed as a promising way to improve the packet processing ***, a novel Self-Described Buffer(SDB) management technology is introduced to eliminate the overheads of the allocation and deallocation of the packet buffers offloaded to FPGA. Then, an evaluation testbed, named PIOT(Packet I/O Testbed), is designed and implemented to evaluate the packet forwarding performance. I/O capacity of different commodity multi-core CPUs and the performance of optimization methods are assessed and compared based on PIOT. At last, the future work of packet processing optimization on multi-core CPUs is discussed.

Locating Error Considering Dimensional Errors Modeling for Multistation Manufacturing System

Multistation machining process is widely applied in contemporary manufacturing environment. Modeling of variation propagation in multistation machining process is one of the most important research scenarios. Due to the existence of multiple variation streams, it is challenging to model and analyze variation propagation in a multi-station system. Current approaches to error modeling for multistation machining process are not explicit enough for error control and ensuring final product quality. In this paper, a mathematic model to depict the part dimensional variation of the complex multistation manufacturing process is formulated. A linear state space dimensional error propagation equation is established through kinematics analysis of the influence of locating parameter variations and locating datum variations on dimensional errors, so the dimensional error accumulation and transformation within the multistation process are quantitatively described. A systematic procedure to build the model is presented, which enhances the way to determine the variation sources in complex machining systems. A simple two-dimensional example is used to illustrate the proposed procedures. Finally, an industrial case of multistation machining part in a manufacturing shop is given to testify the validation and practicability of the method. The proposed analytical model is essential to quality control and improvement for multistation systems in machining quality forecasting and design optimization.
