In recent years there have been major developments in the field of artificial *** different areas of medicine have taken advantage of this tool to make various diagnostic and therapeutic methods more effective,safe,and *** this way,artificial intelligence has been an increasingly present reality in *** the field of Gastroenterology,the main application has been in the detection and characterization of colonic polyps,but an increasing number of studies have been published on the application of deep learning systems in other pathologies of the gastrointestinal *** of the application of artificial intelligence in the assessment of biliary tract is still *** studies support the usefulness of these systems in the investigation and treatment of choledocholithiasis,demonstrating that they have the potential to be integrated into clinical practice and endoscopic procedures,such as endoscopic retrograde *** application in cholangioscopy for the investigation of undetermined biliary strictures also seems to be *** the bile duct through endoscopic ultrasound can be challenging,especially for less experienced operators,thus becoming an area of potential interest for artificial *** this review,we summarize the state of the art of artificial intelligence in the endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of biliary diseases.

Cells,tissues,and organs are constantly subjected to the action of mechanical forces from the extracellular environment-and the nervous system is no ***-intrinsic properties such as membrane lipid composition,abundance of mechanosensors,and cytoskeletal dynamics make cells more or less likely to sense these *** and extrinsic cues are integrated by cells and this combined information determines the rate and dynamics of membrane protrusion growth or retraction(Yamada and sixt,2019).Cell protrusions are extensions of the plasma membrane that play crucial roles in diverse contexts such as cell migration and neuronal synapse *** the nervous system,neurons are highly dynamic cells that can change the size and number of their pre-and postsynaptic elements(called synaptic boutons and dendritic spines,respectively),in response to changes in the levels of synaptic activity through a process called *** plasticity is a hallmark of the nervous system and is present throughout our lives,being required for functions like memory formation or the learning of new motor skills(Minegishi et al.,2023;Pillai and Franze,2024).

The world is facing dramatic challenges related to environmental sustainability at an accelerating *** this context,the field of economic geography(EG)has been playing an important role in understanding both the socioeconomic and technological dimensions of these challenges,as it deals with a variety of complementary notions and *** from this lens,our aim is to explore a conceptual framework that can help us to understand environmental changes relating to multi-dimensional territorial development,notably in eco-nomic contexts where inequality is high,and stratification based on hierarchies regulate social and economic *** on the territory concept,we propose the original notion of a hierarchical regional innovation system(HRIs)that emphasises the pervasive role of hierarchies(powers)in regional innovation systems and illustrate its value with evidence and case studies from extant literature on sustainability *** HRIs can help us understand and promote development paths considering the contribution of inclusive eco-innovations(another original conceptual amalgam).Through some empirical cases from other studies in low-carbon transitions,we show the application of the HRIs(and inclusive eco-innovation)*** conclusion,we provide incen-tives to explore new regional innovation systems,alongside the HRIs,adapted to different regions worldwide and centred on the inclusiveness of people and places.

optical immersion clearing is a technique that has been widely studied for more than two decades and that is used to originate a temporary transparency effect in biological *** applied in cooperation with clinical methods it provides optimization of diagnosis and treatment *** technique turns biological tissues more transparent through two main mechanisms-tissue dehydration and refractive index(RI)matching between tissue *** matching is obtained by partial replacement of interstit ial water by a biocompat ible agent that presents higher RI and it can be completely rever sible by natural rehydration in vrivo or by assisted rehydration in ex vivo *** data to characterize and discriminate between the two mechanisms and to find new ones are *** a simple method,based on collimated transmittance and thickness measurements made from muscle samples under treatment,we have estimated the diffusion properties of glucose,ethylene glycol(EG)and water that were used to perform such char acterization and *** these properties with data from literature that characterize their diffusion in water we have observed that musde cell membrane permeability limits agent and water diffusion in the *** same experi-mental data has allowed to calculate the optical dearing(oC)eficiency and make an inter-pretation of the internal changes that occurred in muscle during the *** same methodology can now be used to perform similar studies with other agents and in other tissues in order to solve engineering problems at design of inexpensive and robust technologies for a *** improvement of optical tomogr aphic techmiques with better contrast and in depth imaging.
