Despite the engineering potential by.the co-existence of inorganic and organic substances to protect vulnerable m.tallic m.terials from.corrosive environm.nts,both their interaction and in-situ form.tion m.chanism.to induce the nature-inspired com.osite rem.ined less *** present work used three distinctive m.rcaptobenzazole(m.)com.ounds working as corrosion inhibitors,such as 2-m.rcaptobenzoxazole(m.O),2-m.rcaptobenzothiazole(m.T),and 2-m.rcaptobenzim.dazole(m.I)in a bid to understand how the geom.trical structure arising from.O,S,and N atom. affected the interaction toward inorganic *** com.ounds that were used here to control the corrosion kinetics would be interacted readily.with the pre-existing m.O lay.r fabricated by.plasm. *** phenom.non triggered the nucleation of the root network since m. com.ounds were seen to be adsorbed actively.on the defective surface through the active sites in m. ***,the m.lecule with twin donor atom. adjacent to the m.rcapto-sites affected the facile growth of the grass-like structures with‘uniform.distribution via m.lecular self-assem.ly.which showed better corrosion perform.nce than those with having dissim.lar donor atom. with the inhibition efficiency.η)of 97%*** form.tion m.chanism.underly.ng nucleation and growth behavior of m. m.lecule was discussed concerning the theoretical calculation of density.functional theory.

In this study.we conducted a search for dark m.tter using a part of the data recorded by.the Cm. experim.nt during run-I of the LHC in 2012 with a center of m.ss energy.of 8 TeV and an integrated lum.nosity.of 11.6 fb−*** data were gathered from.the Cm. open *** m.tter,in the fram.work of the sim.lified m.del(m.no-Z′),can be produced from.proton-proton collisions in association with a new hy.othetical gauge boson,Z′.Thus,the search was conducted in the dim.on plus large m.ssing transverse m.m.ntum.*** benchm.rk scenario of m.no-Z′,which is known as light vector,was used for interpreting the Cm. open *** evidence of dark m.tter was observed,and exclusion lim.ts were set on the m.sses of dark m.tter and Z′at 95%confidence level.

This study.aim. to predict the undrained shear strength of rem.lded soil sam.les using non-linear regression analy.es,fuzzy.logic,and artificial neural network m.deling.A total of 1306 undrained shear strength results from.230 different rem.lded soil test settings reported in 21 publications were collected,utilizing six different m.asurem.nt *** water content,plastic lim.t,and liquid lim.t were used as input param.ters for fuzzy.logic and artificial neural network m.deling,liquidity.index or water content ratio was considered as an input param.ter for non-linear regression *** non-linear regression analy.es,12 different regression equations were derived for the prediction of undrained shear strength of rem.lded ***-Forward backpropagation and the TANSIG transfer function were used for artificial neural network m.deling,while the m.m.ani inference sy.tem.was preferred with trapezoidal and triangular m.m.ership functions for fuzzy.logic *** experim.ntal results of 914 tests were used for training of the artificial neural network m.dels,196 for validation and 196 for *** was observed that the accuracy.of the artificial neural network and fuzzy.logic m.deling was higher than that of the non-linear regression ***,a sim.le and reliable regression equation was proposed for assessm.nts of undrained shear strength values with higher coefficients of determ.nation.

B_(4)C/Al com.osites are widely.utilized as neutron absorbing m.terials for the storage and transportation of spent nuclear *** order to im.rove the high-tem.erature m.chanical properties of B_(4)C/Al com.osites,in-situ nano-Al_(2)O_(3)was introduced utilizing oxide on Al powder *** this study.the Al_(2)O_(3)content was adjusted by.utilizing spheroid Al powder with vary.ng diam.ters,thereby.investigating the im.act of Al_(2)O_(3)content on the tensile properties of(B_(4)C+Al_(2)O_(3))/Al *** was found that the pinning effect of Al_(2)O_(3)on the grain boundaries could hinder the recovery.of dislocations and lead to dislocation accum.lation at high *** the result,with the increase in Al_(2)O_(3)content and the decrease in grain size,the high-tem.erature strength of the com.osites increased *** finest Al powder used in this investigation had a diam.ter of 1.4μm.whereas the resultant com.osite exhibited a m.xim.m.strength of 251 m.a at room.tem.erature and 133 m.a at 350℃,surpassing that of traditional B_(4)C/Al com.osites.

Five perovskite ceram.cs sam.les of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were sy.thesized using the conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared sam.les were characterized by.X-ray.diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform. infrared(FTIR),and UV-Vis *** shielding properties against ionizing radiation were also *** XRD analy.is shows the perovskite cubic structure as the m.jor phase in all *** FTIR reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm.(-1) ascribed to the antisy.0}etric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy.was used to determ.ne the bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and the results display.a fixed enhancem.nt in the bandgap from.3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray.shielding properties of the sy.thesized sam.les were experim.ntally.m.asured and com.ared with XCOm.com.utational *** relative differences(Δ,%)between experim.ntal and theo retical values are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads to the enhanced density.neutron,and gam.a shielding *** contrast,charged particles’shielding param.ters gradually.reduce with rising Er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) sam.les can be used in different radiation shielding applications.
