Fire warning is vital to human life,economy and ***,the development of effective warning systems faces great challenges of fast response,adjustable threshold and remote ***,we propose an intelligent self-powered remote IoT fire warning system,by employing single-walled carbon nanotube/titanium carbide thermoelectric composite *** flexible films,prepared by a convenient solution mixing,display p-type characteristic with excellent high-temperature stability,flame retardancy and TE(power factor of 239.7±15.8μW m^(-1) K^(-2))*** comprehensive morphology and structural analyses shed light on the underlying *** the assembled TE devices(TEDs)exhibit fast fire warning with adjustable warning threshold voltages(1–10 mV).Excitingly,an ultrafast fire warning response time of~0.1 s at 1 mV threshold voltage is achieved,rivaling many state-of-the-art ***,TE fire warning systems reveal outstanding stability after 50 repeated cycles and desired durability even undergoing 180 days of air ***,a TED-based wireless intelligent fire warning system has been developed by coupling an amplifier,analogto-digital converter and Bluetooth *** combining TE characteristics,high-temperature stability and flame retardancy with wireless IoT signal transmission,TE-based hybrid system developed here is promising for next-generation self-powered remote IoT fire warning applications.

A novel Ni-based superalloy GH4151,with a γ′ volume fraction of about 55%and a service temperature capability up to 8oo oC,was *** to the different cooling conditions of various regions during the solidification of ingots,significant cooling rate variations may lead to the occurrence of hot *** scanning laser microscope was utilised to investigate the solidification process and phase precipitation behaviour of the GH4151 under wide range cooling *** characteristics of L→γ transformation were analysed,and the growth rates of at each stage were *** segregation behaviour was predicted using the scheil equation,and the predicted results match well with the experimental *** sensitivity coefficient for hot cracking was modified,and cracking sensitivity coefficient values for the alloy under different cooling rates were computed,revealing that the alloy is most susceptible to hot cracking at 10℃/min cooling ***,controlling the cooling rate can reduce the possibility of hot cracking in ingot.

An improved installation of 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzyl(iHmb)method for chemical protein synthesis

The 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzyl(Hmb)backbone modification can prevent amide bond-mediated sidereactions(e.g.,aspartimide formation,peptide aggregation)by installing the removable Hmb group into a peptide bond,thus improving the synthesis of long and challenging peptides and ***,its use is largely precluded by the limited Hmb’s installation *** this report,an improved installation of Hmb(iHmb)method was developed to achieve the flexible installation and the convenient removal of *** iHmb method involves two critical steps:(1)oxidative diazotization of the readily installed 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-5-amino-benzyl(Hmab)to give 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-5-diazonium-benzyl(Hmdab)by combining soamyl nitrite(IAN)/HBF_(4),and(2)reductive elimination of Hmdab to give the desired Hmb by 1,2-ethanedithiol(EDT).The iHmb method enables the installation of Hmb at any primary amino acid including the highly sterically hindered amino acids(e.g.,valine and isoleucine).The practicality and utility of the iHmb method was demonstrated by one-shot solid-phase synthesis of a challenging aspartimide-prone peptide,the mirror-image version of a hydrophobic peptide and a long-chain peptide up to ***,the iHmb method can be utilized to facilitate chemical protein ligation,as exemplified by the synthesis of the single-spanning membrane protein *** iHmb method expands the toolkit for peptide synthesis and ligation and facilitates the preparation of peptides/proteins.

The chirp sub-bottom profiler,for its high resolution,easy accessibility and cost-effectiveness,has been widely used in acoustic *** this paper,the acoustic impedance and grain size compositions were obtained based on the chirp sub-bottom profiler data collected in the Chukchi Plateau area during the 11th Arctic Expedition of *** time-domain adaptive search matching algorithm was used and validated on our established theoretical *** misfit between the inversion result and the theoretical model is less than 0.067%.The grain size was calculated according to the empirical relationship between the acoustic impedance and the grain size of the *** average acoustic impedance of sub-seafloor strata is 2.5026×10^(6) kg(s m^(2))^(-1)and the average grain size(θvalue)of the seafloor surface sediment is 7.1498,indicating the predominant occurrence of very fine silt sediment in the study *** of the inversion results and the laboratory measurements of nearby borehole samples shows that they are in general agreement.

Hot Deformation Behavior and Workability of a New Ni–W–Cr superalloy for Molten salt Reactors

The hot deformation behavior of a newly developed Ni–W–Cr superalloy for use in 800℃molten salt reactors(MsRs)was looked into by isothermal compression tests in the temperature range of 1050–1200℃with a strain rate of 0.001–1 s^(−1)under a true strain of *** Arrhenius-type model for the Ni–W–Cr superalloy was constructed by fitting the corrected flow stress *** this model,the effect of dispersion of solid solution elements during thermal deformation on microstructure evolution was considered,as well as the effects of friction and adiabatic heating on the temperature and strain rate-dependent variation of flow *** hot deformation activation energy of the Ni–W–Cr superalloy was 323 kJ/mol,which was less than that of the Hastelloy N alloy(currently used in MsRs).According to the rectified flow stress data,processing maps were *** conjunction with the corresponding deformation microstructures,the flow instability domains of the Ni–W–Cr superalloy were determined to be 1050–1160℃/0.03–1 s^(−1)and 1170–1200℃/0.001–0.09 s^(−1).In these deformation conditions,a locally inhomogeneous microstructure was caused by flow-i.e.,incomplete dynamic recrystallization and hot working parameters should avoid sliding into these *** ideal processing hot deformation domain for the Ni–W–Cr superalloy was determined to be 1170–1200℃/0.6–1 s^(−1).

Federated Learning(FL),as an emergent paradigm in privacy-preserving machine learning,has garnered significant interest from scholars and engineers across both academic and industrial *** its innovative approach to model training across distributed networks,FL has its vulnerabilities;the centralized server-client architecture introduces risks of single-point ***,the integrity of the global model—a cornerstone of FL—is susceptible to compromise through poisoning attacks by malicious *** attacks and the potential for privacy leakage via inference starkly undermine FL’s foundational privacy and security *** these reasons,some participants unwilling use their private data to train a model,which is a bottleneck in the development and industrialization of federated *** technology,characterized by its decentralized ledger system,offers a compelling solution to these *** inherently prevents single-point failures and,through its incentive mechanisms,motivates participants to contribute computing ***,blockchain-based FL(BCFL)emerges as a natural progression to address FL’s *** study begins with concise introductions to federated learning and blockchain technologies,followed by a formal analysis of the specific problems that FL *** discusses the challenges of combining the two technologies and presents an overview of the latest cryptographic solutions that prevent privacy leakage during communication and incentives in *** addition,this research examines the use of BCFL in various fields,such as the Internet of Things and the Internet of ***,it assesses the effectiveness of these solutions.

Thermal stability of the Cr-coated zirconium alloy microstructure prepared by pulsed laser deposition

Cr-coated zirconium alloy was prepared by pulsed laser deposition(PLD)for the application of accident-tolerant fuel cladding in light water *** microstructural characteristics of the Cr coating and its evolution with temperature were investigated using grazing incidence X-ray diff raction and in situ heating transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Results show that the microstructure of the laser-deposited Cr coatings consists mainly of fine and non-specific shaped nano-crystals in the inner layer and columnar crystals in the outer *** recrystallization of the Cr-coating layer starts at 300–400℃ to release the high strain introduced by PLD,and the grain coalescence starts at temperatures>400°*** annealing,the(110)-texture gradually intensifi es because of its high reticular density and low close-packed ***,in situ heating TEM observation shows the presence of cavities on the Cr–Zr interface,which may result from the interdiff usion and/or the transformation from amorphous to crystalline.

Abnormal Action Recognition with Lightweight Pose Estimation Network in Electric Power Training scene

Electric power training is essential for ensuring the safety and reliability of the *** this study,we introduce a novel Abnormal Action Recognition(AAR)system that utilizes a Lightweight Pose Estimation Network(LPEN)to efficiently and effectively detect abnormal fall-down and trespass incidents in electric power training *** LPEN network,comprising three stages—MobileNet,Initial stage,and Refinement stage—is employed to swiftly extract image features,detect human key points,and refine them for accurate ***,a Pose-aware Action Analysis Module(PAAM)captures the positional coordinates of human skeletal points in each ***,an Abnormal Action Inference Module(AAIM)evaluates whether abnormal fall-down or unauthorized trespass behavior is *** fall-down recognition,three criteria—falling speed,main angles of skeletal points,and the person’s bounding box—are *** identify unauthorized trespass,emphasis is placed on the position of the *** experiments validate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed system in ensuring the safety and reliability of electric power training.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is characterized by both inter-and intra-tumor heterogeneity and has distinct clinical outcomes.1 A promising clinical tool to perform patient stratification,prognosis evaluation,and treatment recommendations is ***,we enrolled a total of 1595 tumor patients from 13 independent cohorts,including seven cohorts with survival data,four cohorts with immunotherapy information,and two cohorts with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)and sorafenib information,respectively(Table s1).Using 96 algorithms combinations derived from 10 popular machinelearning approaches,a novel framework was constructed and described in Figure ***,a total of 26 stable consensus prognostic genes were screened in seven cohorts harboring complete survival information via univariate Cox regression analysis(Fig.s2A).

Boosted Electrocatalytic Glucose Oxidation Reaction on Noble-Metal-Free MoO_(3)-Decorated Carbon Nanotubes

Electrocatalytic glucose oxidation reaction(GOR)has attracted much attention owing to its crucial role in biofuel cell ***,we load MoO_(3)nanoparticles on carbon nanotubes(CNTs)and use a discharge process to prepare a noblemetal-free MC-60 catalyst containing MoO_(3),Mo_(2)C,and a Mo_(2)C–MoO_(3)*** the GOR,MC-60 shows activity as high as 745μA/(mmol/L cm^(2)),considerably higher than those of the Pt/CNT(270μA/(mmol/L cm^(2)))and Au/CNT catalysts(110μA/(mmol/L cm^(2))).In the GOR,the response minimum on MC-60 is as low as 8μmol/L,with a steady-state response time of only 3 ***,MC-60 has superior stability and anti-interference ability to impurities in the *** better performance of MC-60 in the GOR is attributed to the abundant Mo sites bonding to C and O atoms at the MoO_(3)–Mo_(2)C *** Mo sites create active sites for promoting glucose adsorption and oxidation,enhancing MC-60 performance in the ***,these results help to fabricate more effi cient noble-metal-free catalysts for the fabrication of glucose-based biofuel cells.
