Over-the-air computation(AirComp)has recently emerged as a promising multiple-access technique for fast wireless data aggregation(WDA)from distributed wireless devices(WDs). This paper investigates an energy harvesting (EH) AirComp system, in which multiple EH-powered single-antenna WDs simultaneously send wireless signals to a single-antenna access point (AP) with conventional energy supply for WDA via AirComp. Under this setup, we minimize the average computation mean square error(MsE)over a particular time period, by jointly optimizing the transmit energy allocation at the WDs and the AirComp denoising factors at the AP over time, subject to the energy causality constraints at individual WDs. First, we consider the offline scenario by assuming that the energy state information(EsI)and channel state information (CsI) are non-causally known at the beginning of the period, in which the formulated average MsE minimization corresponds to a non-convex optimization problem. We present a high-quality converged solution by using the techniques of alternating optimization and convex optimization. It is shown that for each WD,if the EH rate is sufficiently high,then the channel inversion power allocation is adopted;while if the EH rate is low, then all the harvested energy should be used up for transmission with proper energy allocation over time. Next, we consider the online scenario with causal EsI and CsI,in which the MsE minimization becomes a stochastic optimization *** this scenario, we present an offline-inspired online algorithm to obtain efficient online energy allocation designs by utilizing the obtained offline solutions. Finally,numerical results show that the proposed designs significantly outperform two benchmark schemes with power-halving and full-power transmission,respectively.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is characterized by both inter-and intra-tumor heterogeneity and has distinct clinical outcomes.1 A promising clinical tool to perform patient stratification,prognosis evaluation,and treatment recommendations is ***,we enrolled a total of 1595 tumor patients from 13 independent cohorts,including seven cohorts with survival data,four cohorts with immunotherapy information,and two cohorts with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)and sorafenib information,respectively(Table s1).Using 96 algorithms combinations derived from 10 popular machinelearning approaches,a novel framework was constructed and described in Figure ***,a total of 26 stable consensus prognostic genes were screened in seven cohorts harboring complete survival information via univariate Cox regression analysis(Fig.s2A).

Electrocatalytic glucose oxidation reaction(GOR)has attracted much attention owing to its crucial role in biofuel cell ***,we load MoO_(3)nanoparticles on carbon nanotubes(CNTs)and use a discharge process to prepare a noblemetal-free MC-60 catalyst containing MoO_(3),Mo_(2)C,and a Mo_(2)C–MoO_(3)*** the GOR,MC-60 shows activity as high as 745μA/(mmol/L cm^(2)),considerably higher than those of the Pt/CNT(270μA/(mmol/L cm^(2)))and Au/CNT catalysts(110μA/(mmol/L cm^(2))).In the GOR,the response minimum on MC-60 is as low as 8μmol/L,with a steady-state response time of only 3 ***,MC-60 has superior stability and anti-interference ability to impurities in the *** better performance of MC-60 in the GOR is attributed to the abundant Mo sites bonding to C and O atoms at the MoO_(3)–Mo_(2)C *** Mo sites create active sites for promoting glucose adsorption and oxidation,enhancing MC-60 performance in the ***,these results help to fabricate more effi cient noble-metal-free catalysts for the fabrication of glucose-based biofuel cells.

A physics-informed neural network(PINN) is a powerful tool for solving differential equations in solid and fluid mechanics. However, it suffers from singularly perturbed boundary-layer problems in which there exist sharp changes caused by a small perturbation parameter multiplying the highest-order derivatives. In this paper, we introduce Chien's composite expansion method into PINNs, and propose a novel architecture for the PINNs, namely, the Chien-PINN(C-PINN) method. This novel PINN method is validated by singularly perturbed differential equations, and successfully solves the wellknown thin plate bending problems. In particular, no cumbersome matching conditions are needed for the C-PINN method, compared with the previous studies based on matched asymptotic expansions.

Mn-based zinc ion battery has the advantages of low cost and high performance,which makes it the promising energy storage ***,the poor conductivity and the agglomeration in the synthesis process of manganese-based materials restrict the performance of ***,the se-doped Mns/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)(se-Mns/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x))composite material derived from Mn-based metal-organic framework is *** tests show that se-doped could generate s defects and enhance the electrochemical activity of *** the same time,the introduction of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) substrate is conducive to exposing more sulfur defects and improving the utilization rate of *** the mechanism study,it is found that se-Mns/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) is transformed into s/se co-doped Mn3O_(4) at the first charge,which innovatively elucidated the behavior of s/se during *** the electrochemical performance test,the specific capacity can reach 74.7 mAh·g^(-1) at 5.0 A·g^(-1).In addition,the Zn-Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) membrane electrode is prepared by vacuum filtration as the zinc-poor anode,which is assembled into the rocking chair full battery to avoid dendrite growth and exhibit excellent rate *** addition of Zn2+weakens the electrostatic repulsion between the interlayers of MXene,and the formation of the folded morphology aids the penetration of the *** 1.0 A·g^(-1),the capacity can reach 50.6 mAh·g^(-1).This work is helpful to promote the research and development of the reaction mechanism of manganese based rocking chair batteries.

Lithium-sulfur(Li-s)batteries are one of the most promising modern-day energy supply systems because of their high theoretical energy density and low ***,the development of high-energy density Li-s batteries with high loading of flammable sulfur faces the challenges of electrochemical performance degradation owing to the shuttle effect and safety issues related to fire or explosion *** this work,we report a three-dimensional(3D)conductive nitrogen-doped carbon foam supported electrostatic self-assembled MXene-ammonium polyphosphate(NCF-MXene-APP)layer as a heat-resistant,thermally-insulated,flame-retardant,and freestanding host for Li-s batteries with a facile and costeffective synthesis ***,through the use of NCF-MXene-APP hosts that strongly anchor polysulfides,the Li-s batteries demonstrate outstanding electrochemical properties,including a high initial discharge capacity of 1191.6 mA h g^(-1),excellent rate capacity of 755.0 mA h g^(-1)at 1 C,and long-term cycling stability with an extremely low-capacity decay rate of 0.12%per cycle at 2 *** importantly,these batteries can continue to operate reliably under high temperature or flame attack ***,this study provides valuable insights into the design of safe high-performance Li-s batteries.

The effects of projectile/target impedance matching and projectile shape on energy,momentum transfer and projectile melting during collisions are investigated by numerical *** comparing the computation results with the experimental results,the correctness of the calculation and the statistical method of momentum transfer coefficient is *** shapes of aluminum,copper and heavy tungsten alloy projectiles striking aluminum,basalt,and pumice target for impacts up to 10 km/s are *** influence mechanism of the shape of the projectile and projectile/target density on the momentum transfer was *** an increase in projectile density and length-diameter ratio,the energy transfer time between the projectile and targets is *** projectile decelerates slowly,resulting in a larger cratering *** energy consumed by the projectile in the excavation stage increased,resulting in lower mass-velocity of ejecta and momentum transfer *** numerical simulation results demonstrated that for different projectile/target combinations,the higher the wave impedance of the projectile,the higher the initial phase transition velocity and the smaller the mass of phase *** results can provide theoretical guidance for kinetic impactor design and material selection.

Morphology-dependent activation of hydrogen peroxide with Cu_(2)O for tetracycline hydrochloride degradation in bicarbonate aqueous solution

The design of efficient heterogeneous catalysts in bicarbonate-activated hydrogen peroxide systems(BAP)is a hot topic in wastewater *** this work,Cu_(2)O nanoparticles with different morphologies including cubic shape(c-Cu_(2)O),octahedron shape(o-Cu_(2)O)and spherical shape(s-Cu_(2)O),were applied in BAP for the first time to degrade tetracycline hydrochloride(TC).Compared with Cu^(2+)ions and CuO,TC degradation was boosted in the presence of Cu_(2)O in the BAP system,with the degradation rate following the order c-Cu_(2)O>o-Cu_(2)O>s-Cu_(2)*** morphology-dependent effects could be linearly correlated with the ratio of surface oxygen species(O_s),but not with the surface area or Cu(Ⅰ)*** c-Cu_(2)O catalyst with exposure of(100)facets contained 76.6%O_sas the active site for H_(2)O_(2)adsorption and activation,while the value was much lower for o-Cu_(2)O and s-Cu_(2)O with dominant(111)*** presence of HCO_(3)-enhanced the interactions among Cu_(2)O,H_(2)O_(2)and TC,leading to facile oxidation of Cu(Ⅰ)to Cu(Ⅱ)by H_(2)O_(2),and the formation of various reactive species such as hydroxyl radicals and Cu(Ⅲ)contributed to TC *** work provides a new method for enhancing H_(2)O_(2)activation with heterogeneous catalysts by crystal facet engineering.
