To Establish A Body of Evidence on Safety for Postmarketing Chinese Medicine：A New Research Paradigm

The issue of safety evaluation on postmarketing Chinese medicines has become a hot topic in China’s mainland recently. Researchers and decision-makers can obtain a variety of evidence resources about safety in order to evaluate the safety profile for postmarketing Chinese medicines. A registry study on ten Chinese medicine injections for postmarketing surveillance has come to the end. From such a study observing more than 300,000 patients for more than 4 years, a theoretical research question emerges, that is, how to identify and evaluate safety evidence systematically. We put forward a brand new research paradigm on the theory level, which is to establish a body of evidence on safety evaluation for postmarketing Chinese medicine. Therefore, multiple information sources were explored and extracted from preclinical experiments for toxicity, postmarketing clinical trials for efficacy and safety evaluation, registry study for surveillance, retrospective data analysis from hospital information system and spontaneous response system, and case reports and systematic review from literature. Greater efforts for this idea and cooperation with experts in this field both in China and abroad are urgently needed.

Effect of high static magnetic field on the dendritic morphology and growth direction in directionally solidified Al-10 wt.%Zn alloy were studied by three-dimensional(3D) X-ray micro-computed tomography, Electron Back-scattered Diffraction(EBSD) and X-ray Diffraction(XRD). The application of high static axial magnetic field(5T) during directional solidification was found to destabilize the solid/liquid interface and cause the growth direction of dendrite deviate from thermal gradient, leading to irregular solid/liquid interfacial shape and cellular to dendritic morphology transition. The thermoelectric magnetic convection(TEMC) caused by the interaction of thermoelectric effect and magnetic field was supposed to be responsible for the transition. In addition, the EBSD and XRD results confirm that the preferred growth direction of α-Al was found to transform from the traditionally expected to. The dendrite orientation transition(DOT) in Al-10 wt.%Zn alloy can be attributed to the effect of applied magnetic field on the anisotropy of crystal during solidification. The result indicates the potential application of high static magnetic field in altering the morphology and preferred growth direction of dendrite during directional solidification.

V_(3)O_(7)·H_(2)O(VO)is a high capacity cathode material in the field of aqueous zinc ion batteries(AZIBs),but it is limited by slow ion migration and low electrical *** this paper,polypyridine(PPyd)intercalated VO with nanoribbon structure was prepared by a simple in-situ pre-intercalation,which is noted *** total density of states(TDOS)shows that after the pre-intercalation of PPyd,an intermediate energy level appears between the valence band and conduction band,which provides a step that can effectively reduce the band gap and enhance the electron ***,the density functional theory(DFT)results found that Zn^(2+)is more easily de-intercalated from the V-O skeleton,which proves that the embeddedness of PPyd improves the diffusion kinetics of Zn^(2+).Electrochemical studies have shown that VO-PPyd cathode materials exhibit excellent rate performance(high specific capacity of 465 and 192 mA h g^(-1)at 0.2 and 10 A g^(-1),respectively)and long-term cycling performance(92.7%capacity retention rate after 5300 cycles),due to their advantages in structure and *** importantly,the energy density of VO-PPyd//Zn at 581 and 5806 W kg^(-1)is 375 and 247 W h kg^(-1),***-PPyd exhibits excellent electrochemical properties compared to previously reported vanadium based cathodes,which makes it highly competitive in the field of high-performance cathode materials of AZIBs.

LIM kinase 1 （LIMK1）, a cytosolic serine/threonine kinase, regulates actin filament dynamics and reorganization and is involved in neuronal development and brain function. Abnormal expression of LIMK1 is associated with several neurological disorders. In this study, we performed a conservation analysis using Vector NTI （8.0） software. The dualluciferase reporter assay and real-time quantitative RT-PCR were used to assess the protein and mRNA levels of the reporter gene, respectively. We found that a region ranging from nt ＋884 to ＋966 in the human LIMK1 3＇ untranslated region （UTR） was highly conserved in the mouse Limkl 3＇ UTR and formed a structure containing several loops and stems. Luciferase assay showed that the relative luciferase activity of the mutated construct with the conserved region deleted, pGL4-hLIMK1-3U-M, in SH-SY5Y and HEK-293 cells was only -60% of that of the wild-type construct pGL4-hLIMK1-3U, indicating that the conserved region is critical for the reporter gene expression. Real-time quantitative RT-PCR analysis demonstrated that the relative Luc2 mRNA levels in SH-SY5Y and HEK293 cells transfected with pGL4-hLIMK1-3U-M decreased to50% of that in cells transfected with pGL4-hLIMK1- 3U, suggesting an important role of the conserved region in maintaining Luc2 mRNA stability. Our study suggests that the conserved region in the LIMK1 3＇ UTR is involved in regulating LIMK1 expression at the post-transcriptional level, which may help reveal the mechanism underlying the regulation of LIMK1 expression in the central nervous system and explore the relationship between the 3＇-UTR mutant and neuroloqical disorders.

This paper provides an overview of attitude coordination problems of multi-rigid-body with the goal of promoting research in this area. Theoretical results regarding consensus seeking with different system models, different communication topologies, different control goals and different techniques are summarized. And applications of consensus protocols to multirigid- body coordination are investigated. Quasars are essential for astrometry in the sense that they are spatially stationary because of their large distance from the Sun. The European Space Agency(ESA) astrometric satellite Gaia is scanning the whole sky with unprecedented accuracy up to the level of a few μas. However, Gaia's two-fields-ofview-observation strategy may introduce a parallax bias in the Gaia catalog. Since it presents no significant parallax, a quasar is the perfect natural object to detect such bias. More importantly, quasars can be used to construct a celestial reference frame in the optical wavelengths for the Gaia mission. In this paper, we compile a list of known quasars that have been published in the literatures. The final compilation(designated as Known Quasars Catalog for Gaia mission, KQCG) contains 1 842 076 objects, among which797 632 objects are found in Gaia DR1 after cross-identifications. Redshift, color information and position uncertainties of the objects are also provided if available. This catalog will be very useful for the Gaia mission.

We extend the colored Zee-Babu model with a gauged U（1）B-L symmetry, and a scalar singlet dark matter （DM） candidate S. The spontaneous breaking of U（1）B-L leaves a residual Z2 symmetry that stabilizes the DM, and generates a tiny neutrino mass at the two-loop level with the color seesaw mechanism. After investigating the DM and flavor phenomenology of this model systematically, we further focus on its imprint on two cosmic-ray anomalies： The Fermi-LAT gamma-ray excess at the Galactic Center （GCE）, and the PeV ultra-high energy （UHE） neutrino events at the IceCube. We found that the Fermi-LAT GCE spectrum can be well-fitted by DM annihilation into a pair of on-shell singlet Higgs mediators while being compatible with the constraints from the relic density, direct detections, and dwarf spheroidal galaxies, in the Milky Way. Although the UHE neutrino events at the IceCube could be accounted for by the resonance production of a TeV-scale leptoquark, the relevant Yukawa couplings have been severely limited by the current low-energy flavor experiments. We subsequently derive the IceCube limits on the Yukawa couplings by employing its latest six-year data.

Modern recommendation systems are widely used in modern data *** random and sparse embedding lookup operations are the main performance bottleneck for processing recommendation systems on traditional platforms as they induce abundant data movements between computing units and ***-based processing-in-memory(PIM)can resolve this problem by processing embedding vectors where they are ***,the embedding table can easily exceed the capacity limit of a monolithic ReRAM-based PIM chip,which induces off-chip accesses that may offset the PIM ***,we deploy the decomposed model on-chip and leverage the high computing efficiency of ReRAM to compensate for the decompression performance *** this paper,we propose ARCHER,a ReRAM-based PIM architecture that implements fully yon-chip recommendations under resource ***,we make a full analysis of the computation pattern and access pattern on the decomposed *** on the computation pattern,we unify the operations of each layer of the decomposed model in multiply-and-accumulate *** on the access observation,we propose a hierarchical mapping schema and a specialized hardware design to maximize resource *** the unified computation and mapping strategy,we can coordinatethe inter-processing elements *** evaluation shows that ARCHER outperforms the state-of-the-art GPU-based DLRM system,the state-of-the-art near-memory processing recommendation system RecNMP,and the ReRAM-based recommendation accelerator REREC by 15.79×,2.21×,and 1.21× in terms of performance and 56.06×,6.45×,and 1.71× in terms of energy savings,respectively.
