Amide-and alkyl-modified nanosilicas(AANPs)were synthesized and introduced into Xanthan gum(XG)solution,aiming to improve the temperature/salt tolerance and oil *** rheological behaviors of XG/AANP hybrid dispersions were systematically studied at different concentrations,temperatures and inorganic *** high temperature(75C)and high salinity(10,000 mg,L1 NaCl),AANPs increase the apparent viscosity and dynamic modulus of the XG solution,and XG/AANP hybrid dispersion exhibits elastic-dominant *** most effective concentrations of XG and AANP interacting with each other are 1750 mg·L^(-1) and 0.74 wt%,*** temperature tolerance of XG solution is not satisfactory,and high temperature further weakens the salt tolerance of ***,the AANPs significantly enhance the viscoelasticity the XG solution through hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic *** reservoir conditions,XG/AANP hybrid recovers approximately 18.5%more OOIP(original oil in place)than AANP and 11.3%more OOIP than *** enhanced oil recovery mechanism of the XG/AANP hybrid is mainly increasing the sweep coefficient,the contribution from the reduction of oil-water interfacial tension is less.

BACKGROUND： The potential application of decellularized liver scaffold for liver regeneration is limited by severe shortage of donor organs. Attempt of using heterograft scaffold is accompanied with high risks of zoonosis and immunological rejection. We proposed that the spleen, which procured more extensively than the liver, could be an ideal source of decellularized scaffold for liver regeneration. METHODS： After harvested from donor rat, the spleen was processed by 12-hour freezing/thawing ×2 cycles, then circulation perfusion of 0.02% trypsin and 3% Triton X-100 sequentially through the splenic artery for 32 hours in total to prepare decellularized scaffold. The structure and component characteristics of the scaffold were determined by hematoxylin and eosin and immumohistochemical staining, scanning electron microscope, DNA detection, porosity measurement, biocompatibility and cytocompatibility test. Recellularization of scaffold by 5×106 bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells（BMSCs） was carried out to preliminarily evaluate the feasibility of liver regeneration by BMSCs reseeding and differentiation in decellularized splenic ***： After decellularization, a translucent scaffold, which retained the gross shape of the spleen, was generated. Histological evaluation and residual DNA quantitation revealed the remaining of extracellular matrix without nucleus and cytoplasm residue. Immunohistochemical study proved the existence of collagens I, IV, fibronectin, laminin and elastin in decellularized splenic scaffold, which showed a similarity with decellularized liver. A scanning electron microscope presented the remaining three-dimensional porous structure of extracellular matrix and small blood vessels. The poros-ity of scaffold, aperture of 45.36±4.87 μm and pore rate of 80.14%±2.99% was suitable for cell engraftment. Objective:Macrophages are a major component of the tumor microenvironment.M1 macrophages secrete pro-inflammatory factors that inhibit tumor growth and development,whereas tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs)mainly exhibit an M2 *** previous studies have shown that the interleukin-33/ST2(IL-33/ST2)axis is essential for activation of the M1 *** study investigates the role of the IL-33/ST2 axis in TAMs,its effects on tumor growth,and whether it participates in the mutual conversion between the M1 and M2 ***:Bone marrow-derived macrophages were extracted from wildtype,ST2 knockout(ST2-/-),and Il33-overexpressing mice and differentiated with *** mitochondrial and lysosomal number and location,and the expression of related proteins were used to analyze *** consumption rates and glucose and lactate levels were measured to reveal metabolic ***:The IL-33/ST2 axis was demonstrated to play an important role in the metabolic conversion of macrophages from OXPHOS to glycolysis by altering mitophagy *** IL-33/ST2 axis promoted enhanced cell oxidative phosphorylation,thereby further increasing M2 polarization gene expression and ultimately promoting tumor growth(P<0.05)(Figure 4).This metabolic shift was not due to mitochondrial damage,because the mitochondrial membrane potential was not significantly altered by IL-4 stimulation or ST2 knockout;however,it might be associated with the m TOR ***:These results clarify the interaction between the IL-33/ST2 pathway and macrophage polarization,and may pave the way to the development of new cancer immunotherapies targeting the IL-33/ST2 axis.

To compare the impact of the scrotal vs inguinal orchidopexy approach on the testicular function of infants with cryptorchidism,a randomized controlled trial was conducted involving boys who were 6–12 months old at surgery and were diagnosed with clinically palpable,inguinal undescended *** June 2021 and December 2021,these boys at Fujian Maternity and Child Health Hospital(Fuzhou,China)and Fujian Children’s Hospital(Fuzhou,China)were *** randomization with a 1:1 allocation ratio was *** primary outcome was testicular function assessed by testicular volume,serum testosterone,anti-Müllerian hormone(AMH),and inhibin B(InhB)*** outcomes included operative time,amount of intraoperative bleeding,and postoperative *** 577 screened patients,100(17.3%)were considered eligible and enrolled in the *** the 100 children who completed the 1-year follow-up,50 underwent scrotal orchidopexy and 50 underwent inguinal *** testicular volume,serum testosterone,AMH,and InhB levels in both groups increased markedly after surgery(all P0.05).No differences between the scrotal and inguinal groups were noted regarding the operative time(P=0.987)and amount of intraoperative bleeding(P=0.746).The overall complication rate(2.0%)of the scrotal group was slightly lower than that of the inguinal group(8.0%),although this difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Both scrotal and inguinal orchiopexy exerted protective effects on testicular function in children with cryptorchidism,with similar operative status and postoperative *** orchiopexy is an effective alternative to inguinal orchiopexy in children with cryptorchidism.

The present paper is aimed at recycling of coal ash and blast furnace slag to produce mineral wool. Considering the mineralogical constitutions of coal ash and blast furnace slag, the primary quaternary slag compositions of CaO-SiO2-MgO-Al2O3 with basicity （mass ratio of CaO to SiO2 ） ranging from 0.5 to 0.9 and alumina ranging from 5% to 20% were investigated through a rotating cylinder method. The experimental results indicated that the viscosities decreased with increasing basicity above the liquidus temperature, and increased with increasing alumina content, and the maximum values were reached and as the alumina content was 20%, followed by the decrease with further increasing alumina content due to its amphoteric behavior. The amphoteric behavior of Al2O3 also performed in the relationship between viscosity and non-bridging oxygen per tetrahedrally-eoordinated atom （NBO/T）, and the viscosities decreased with increasing the NBO/T except the slag with a basicity 0.5 and Al2O3 20 % which have a low NBO/T value and a low viscosity than others.

A low molecular weight gelator with dual pH and glucose sensitive moieties was synthesized. The gelator penetrated in the mesopores of silica nanoparticles(MSNs) and formed low molecular weight gel(LMWG) as gate to fabricate dual pH and glucose responsive nano drug delivery system. Antidiabetic drug was loaded in the gel caped MSNs, the drug release was responsive to the pH and glucose levels and the drug release could be controlled via the stimuli sensitivity of gel.

The partial oxidation of butane (POB) to syngas over nickel supported catalysts was first investigated with a flow-reactor, TG and UVRRS. The NiO/gamma -Al2O3 is the most suitable for the POB among NiO/gamma -Al2O3, NiO/MgO and NiO/SiO2. And the reaction performance of the NiO/gamma -Al2O3 shows little difference from those of the nickel supported catalysts modified by alkali metal oxide and rare-earth metal oxide. However, modification with Li2O and La2O3 can suppress carbon-deposition of the NiO/gamma -Al2O3, which contains graphite-like species during the POB reaction.

Recently,researchers have explored the use of precipitation strengthening and finer microstructures with high-density dislocations in additive manufacturing to produce high-entropy alloys(HEAs)with adjustable ***,the inherent surface roughness and lack of machinability research in AMed HEAs limit their engineering *** this study,we systematically investigated the microstructural characteristics,mechanical properties,and machinability of Fe_(29.3)Co_(28.7)Ni_(28.6)Al_(6.8)Ti_(6.6)(at.%)HEAs with three different structures:single FCC phase cellular(SPC),dual precipitation-strengthened(DPS),and single precipitation-strengthened(SPS).These structures were fabricated by selective laser melting and isothermally annealing at 780 and 940℃.Compared to SPC HEA,DPS HEA exhibits a significant increase in yield strength and ultimate tensile strength but with a dramatic sacrifice in *** HEA exhibits similar mechanical properties to SPC HEA due to the pronounced coarsening of L21 *** ultraprecision machining micro-cutting test showed that SPC HEA had a significant mechanochem-ical effect,as evidenced by a sharp drop in cutting force for inked workpieces,but not DPS *** abnormal finding was that the negligible reflection of cutting force for SPS HEAs suggested a negative mechanochemical effect,even though SPS HEA had equally excellent plasticity like SPC *** was found that nanocrystallization-induced strength enhancement and ductility reduction of SPS HEA lead to chips’deformation dominated by shear avalanche rather than chip folding of SPC HEA,which involves the reduction of surface energy and friction of chips’***,these results and our research findings may guide the machining of AMed precipitation-strengthened HEAs and accelerate their engineering ap-plication.
